Dr. Felicity Maltra is on board a research vessel that answers a distress call from a Drackonian ship. The wounded Drackon weredragons on board need her care, but their reason for being in a disabled ship seems suspicious. She doesn’t buy into Captain Drin Ky-Vesa’s lies, especially because he is constantly arguing with his younger brother about something that seems to do with her. But although she must do her duty as a doctor, it does not require her to fall so damn hard for this attractive powerful Drackon Captain, but she can’t help herself.
Captain Drin Ky-Vesa has had no interest in mating with a human female, especially after the promise he made to his father on his deathbed. But now there is a threat from a radical faction known as the purist who seek to stop the Drackon from mating with human females at all costs, even death. As an alien and human weredragon hybrid, Drin feels more conflicted than ever, but his conflict is escalated when he is drawn to the human female doctor that treats his wounds. Now he must protect her even though it goes against everything he’s ever been loyal too.
When the threat of the purist reaches earth, the catastrophic devastation forces war upon the Drackon, the earthlings, and the purist and Felicity and Drin are right in the middle of it, but will they survive?

Drin
Ms Starr has another great hit. The Drakron Mates is a series that as all the stuff that makes a great book. She has delicious Aliens, hot sexy encounters, problems to solve & outcomes that makes everyone happy. Definitely on my list of recommended reads.

Drin is a loyal warrior, who keeps his promises
Dr in is a wonderful leading man for a variety of reasons, loyalty, and determination to keep his promises being at the top of the list. Felicity is a Doctor who wants to us her learning and her skills, and there are times when it is interesting watching her put Doctoring before all else.
I was gifted with a copy of this story, and switched to the Kindle Unlimited version when it was published. Having read the previous stories in this series, I felt this one stood well on its own, with a few references to previous characters, but mostly this is an expansion of the world building, and a continuing exploration of the Drackon species and culture.
Drin's brother did not really appeal to me until the very end, in part because his appearances were so brief, but when we finally got what felt like a genuine glimpse of him, I found myself looking forward to his getting a story all his own.

Alien meets human girl and falls in love. Of course nothing can be simple though, especially with a war about to start.
The series is about a dragon shifter alien race that has now been mating with human females for a generation now. Each book seems to take 20 or so years between each story. So the stories always have a different theme, but the draw of the males to human women is the one consistent theme.
I enjoy the fast fun series. It is a light read that you can just sit back and enjoy for a bit. The human females can't seem to keep their hands of the dragons but they do love out curves.
I voluntarily read and reviewed a copy of the book.

Another interesting and entertaining read. I love how feisty and stubborn Dr. Felicity was she was so determined to be seen as a equal, she definitely wasn't some damsels in distress waiting to be rescue. Drin is between a rock and hard place does he chose love or does he keep the promise he made to his dying father?? In the long run you can't fight what meant to be, no matter how hard you try to fight it. That's the life lessons Drin discover. Overall enjoyable read looking forward to seeing what else is going to happen in the series. I voluntarily read and review this ARC I haven't been compensated in any way.

Loved It
The author is very talented and creative in her writing. I was hooked from book one and loved every minute of it. Awesome characters, action, dragon shifter, and steamy love scenes; that you can't get enough of. Highly recommended and please keep them coming.

Dr Felicity is smart and focus. She falls for Drackon Weredragons that is a half breed. He promised he father only to mate a Full Drackon. Read to enjoy the romance, war and conclusion to this problem. Short quick good read
