"The things I think of him doing to me were so… wrong."
These are the heroine's thoughts as she sees, from across a stage, the man of her dream. Unfortunately, he is also a King of a small country and the twin brother of her co-star and roommate.
Mina has been longing for Amir since she first saw a picture of him. She would do anything to be the woman that he needs, but sadly she is not a native of his country nor is she royal. She is out of her depth with him and she knows it.
Or is she?
The hero, Amir, has been fight his lust for what he believes to be his brother's girlfriend. He thinks what he feels for her is so wrong as well. He has been in agony for 6 months when his twin brother Michael suggest that he take Mina to his country in order to protect her from a stalker. Amir is reluctant at first, to put temptation in his path seems dangerous. But he soon gives in as the alpha in him wants nothing more than to protect her!
Ahhhhh!
Now, we get to watch as secrets are revealed and the hero finally takes control of his destiny and thinks
"Six months of waiting… sick wanting. I’m going to make her pay for it. She was in my country, in my home now, and all fucking mine....once I got back to the palace, she was going to find herself impaled on my cock and being bred."
Yup, it's that kind of book.
But the whole cherry on the sundae for me was the fact that they were both virgins!!!
"I’ve never been with a woman before. In my country, it is not uncommon to remain celibate until one gets engaged or even married.”
And she thinks "I couldn’t believe the fact that he’d been a virgin, too."
This book was made even more amazing when Amir did this romantic gestures and here is just one,
"I want my dance," I said, pulling her into my arms and starting to sway back and forth. She pressed her head to my chest, humming the words along with Ed Sheeran’s Thinking Out Loud.
"Marry me, Mina,”
So to sum up we have

One of my favorite stories by this author! I was pleasantly surprised.

Well, this was going good for me initially and I thought it had real potential but somewhere around 50% it just became cheesy and lost my interest. I'm going to round up because the characters were a bit different and it was definitely better than the last one I read by this author.

Insta lust story between Amir and Mina, the Persian to be king and the stage actress.
I liked how the author tried to make it as middle eastern as possible, but things were widely outdated (Ive been living her for 15+ years)- but if that's how she imagined it- Im good with it.
All the "pink pussy juice" aside, it was a short read with few good scenes. There was a mystery between the lines that was enjoyable too.
Loads of breeding, cum baths and double V card.
Safe with minor exceptions

There's insta-love and then theres this...
I really couldn't figure out why the heroine hated the hero in the beginning. She was mad because he left and didn't say hi to her? Really??!!
The hero I could understand a little more as he thought she was dating his brother so it was a "I dislike you because I can't have you" thing.
What really brought the rating down though was how after not really talking or facing any of their issues they were in bed together. One moment he disliked her because he couldn't have her and 10 min later he's calling requesting an engagement ring and treating her like his queen. Whiplash to the extreme!
Overall it felt disjointed and completely unrealistic. I was not impressed.
Only good thing...they were both virgins.

If you like insta-love sweet novellas, this one won't disappoint. I don't believe I was in the mood for one of those books though, and my rating is a reflection of that.

The moment Amir saw Mina on stage with his brother he wanted her, but he believed she and his brother were together. Amir had always thought he would marry a Persian woman to continue the royal line but when he finds outside Mina's relationship with his brother was a facade he acts quick making her his.
This was ok a bit disjointed because it jumped quite a bit in time and didn't really flow into it. If you like insta-love stories this is a fun short book.

How did I miss this book??? I absolutely loved it. Mina is working on her first show when she spots her crush sitting in the front row. She knows who he is since he happens to be her co-star/roommate's brother.
Amir is finally attending the last of his brother's shows. When he looks at who is performing along side him, he sets his eyes upon Mina. That is until the ending when she kisses his brother. He can't stay any longer so he leaves knowing that the one girl that he wants as his, he can't have because she is his brothers.
Fast forward 6 months and they both can't get each other off their minds. Add in secrets, crazy stalkers and off the chart chemistry... You got yourself another awesome book by C.M. Steele.

Loved it!
I loved all the characters, the chemistry and I hope to see more of these characters in the future. The twists kept me turning the page and the swift plot kept the angst away. Definitely re-read material.

This was okay, it's pretty much like all the other short OTT love stories you get with major insta-love and wanted to get married and have babies the minute you meet. I've read a few of these threw the years and they're not really my cup of tea, but I needed a bit of a palate cleanser after the last book I read because I was completely sucked into that one.

C.M. Steele has done it again! Another gripping romance that I couldn’t put down once. I will admit that it took me a bit to like Amir. I didn’t like his arrogance and how he was such a snob in the beginning. I thought Amir and Mina were perfect for one another.
There were no faults in the storyline, the story gripped me from start to end and I devoured this book and was left greedy for more.
I cannot wait for more from this series and I am eager to read the next book now.

I am in love with Amir and Mina!! There was no denying their passion for each other. Amir is a Persian King looking for a Persion Queen. But when Amir first caught a glance at a bio of Mina he knew that she was the one for him. Mina has been in love with Amir ever since she saw his picture that his twin brother Michael's had. She just can't wait to meet him face to face, but that doesn't happen right away. But when they do meet she knows that her feelings are true. Amir was holding back thinking that she was with Michael but when he finds out the truth all bets are off and Mina is HIS.
I can not wait to see more from this family. This had everything that I'm looking for an OTT Alpha King who will do anything for his Queen, a Sassy woman who demands respect and loves hard, and great supporting characters that you can't wait to see more of. C.M. delivered with this one like always.

It was sweet. I loved the characters. I loved this part:

And this part:
“Amir, she’s stolen your heart,” Mina muttered from her bed. After setting the baby in her bassinet, I stepped over to the woman who gave me everything and took a seat on her bed. “No, my queen. That belongs to you. She’s just carving her name on it.”
I cannot wait to read the next book in this series. Wonderful author.
