Use These Powerful Techniques To Increase Your Reading Speed

We all read daily, whether it be a newspaper, a book, emails from friends or colleagues, browsing the web, or papers at work and school. It is a part of our daily lives, yet it is not something we tend to think about, but rather take for granted. Hence it takes so much of our lives, it is surprising therefore that few of us think of it as skill to be improved upon.

So what is becoming a better reader? What does it involve? This is what I will explain in this book. Not only how to become a faster reader, but also how to improve comprehension.

Through this book, I will guide you through the process of becoming a speed reader. Not only will you learn how to read faster, but also how to become more efficient, and still understand what you are reading. I will also help you ditch the bad habits we have all picked up over the years.

Before reading this book, I didn't believe I would get anything out of it. It seemed a short book, I thought why not give it a try. I am really happy I have read it.

First of all, this book is amazing. At least for me. This book has some amazing tips which I believe are helpful in reading fast. I haven't tried them yet. It requires little practice. I will have to practice them to apply them.
This book is point to point. There isn't extra stuff which can be confusing.

OVERVIEW
In the beginning, author tells us which factors cause slow reading. After that, he tells us how we can remove them.

I highly recommend this book to everyone. Even if you can read fast, I think this book would still give you some tips by which your speed may improve more.

These techniques of Speed Reading were taught to us in our English Department, so it was a revision for me when I was reading them in this mini book. Still, there were some techniques which were new. All of them seemed quite helpful.
Though I never liked speed reading & skipping words to read quickly, as I like to enjoy reading slowly but I have tried some of them & they did worked (Y)
All we need is a lil practice to be able to become a pro in it. Its a good idea to apply them when reading some boring & dragged books ;)

Okay, first of all this book is a very informative lecture on speed reading. The author does a good job at explaining the key ways of increasing reading speed, and he does so quite well in my opinion. I would recommend this for anyone, however you should make sure speed reading suites your particular need prior to using the techniques you learn.

This book definitely offers some useful insight into the reading process and whatnot. However many of the things are useless, pointless, or already known to anyone who knows how to read. Moreover, we get at the same time both the impression of this book being too short and too long.
It is a fast read (no pun intended), so if you can give it a skim.

More than a book, this reads as a short article about speed reading with some advices to improve your own speed.
Not much more than that. Although I must say I did read it pretty quickly...
