I Got Your Back: Teflon and Tatiana's Love Story
Tatiana Drew is living the life that most women dream of; the life of a kingpin’s girl. Most women see the expensive clothes, cars, jewelry, and houses, but never the dark side of it all. Brevin Williamson, or the King of Cleveland as he likes to be called is handsome, rich, crazy, and feels he can do whatever he wants, when he wants no matter who it hurts. Tatiana, being pregnant, feels trapped in a life with Brevin that she so badly wishes she could be out of. She wants so much more out of life, and feels it’s nearly impossible… until she meets Teflon.
Teflon isn’t as rich as Brevin, nor does he hold the imaginary keys to the city of Cleveland like him, but when Tatiana meets him, she becomes immediately smitten with the beyond good looking and very charming man. Teflon’s relationship track record isn’t as dirty as Brevin’s but it’s definitely not squeaky clean. However Tatiana makes him rethink everything about the way he’s been living his romantic life. Will Tatiana go for what she wants, despite the danger it may bring to her? Or will she turn her back on real love, letting the life she currently lives kill her slowly from within.

Wow.. just WOW!
I love Teflon!! 🥰overall good read, full of twists and drama. I have to say I despise Brevin; like I genuinely don’t like his character at all. He’s so disrespectful. From the beginning, I was hooked on this story and did not stop reading until I finished. The ending had me ready to throw my phone because Tatiana had been doing good the whole book and viola she got careless.. I know Brevin will not go away easy. I feel like there’s going to be some bloodshed in book two. I like books that have me questioning my morals because yes, I know Teflon and Tatiana shouldn’t have been creeping buuuuut because I don’t like Brevin I was like yaaasss Tati! 🤣on to part two now. Good work as always. ❤️

Men like Brevin and Russell are POS. It’s sad when women stay in situations because they don’t think they deserve better because that’s all they know. I’m not sure what to think about Tatiana where she continued to be a victim of DV and went through two traumatic experiences. She’s so scared to leave Brevin because he’s the “king” of Cleveland. That girl also got no sense based on the ending! I’m like who does that? Do that somewhere else SMH!
Here comes my baes Teflon and Merce! Those two are baes. It was love at first sight for Teflon the Don. They say when men cheats they are still searching for that someone and this is the case with Teflon. When he saw Tatiana his world shifted on its axis. Their love is complicated and complex and it will be interesting to see how all this plays out.
Now Jadynn’s situation was traumatic and her sister Paige and their mom were trifling individuals and I’m hoping that Jadynn washes her hands off them. It’s sad when your own family betrays you.

What. The. Fu....
Sooo I usually enjoy Shvonne’s books buttt this one was one that I did NOT like.
Honestly I got to about 58% and stopped. Definitely going on my DNF list.
The character Tati is dumb as hell. And she keeps saying one thing and doing something else. One minute she’s only with Brevin because she’s pregnant and her bags are packed ready to go and the next minute she’s sooo in love with him and can’t leave him because if she was with him that long, God must have a plan. Like wtf???
Tre’mayne or whatever his name is, just got out of a relationship where he can’t be loyal but supposedly falls in love with Tati at damn near first sight. And automatically knows that he wants to marry her.
Just ugh, it was a mess.
Be sure to look up her other works but this one is so not a recommendation.

Oh My
This book was very good! Tati was crazy as ever for staying with her no good boyfriend. He may have always said he loved her, but that was always hard to believe. He was a straight up dog. Teflon seemed like a no good dude when he first came into the book, but my thoughts of him soon changed. It took him finding the right woman to change his ways. Paige and Russell both made me sick. I couldn't stand what they did to Jay! Calvin ended up being a good dude for her though. That ending just proves that things are really about to get real and I can't wait!

okay book
Book was just okay. I liked that Teflon wasn’t the top guy. Didn’t like Tati was wooing about how fine Teflon was while she laid up in the hospital. The author essentially repeated the same violent scene with both Tati and Jadynn. Tati was weak! Teflon was a sucka for not standing on how he felt when she wasn’t leaving Brev after he put her in the hospital. If Brev was the top guy, his operations should’ve been able to run without him. Didn’t like continuous reminder that Tati wasn’t his type.

Shvonne, God has truly gave you a gift in writing because this book is a banger. Brevin is a straight a-hole. I'm so happy that Tatiana has found the love that she needed from Teflon, but that ending tho? You need to stop leaving us with these cliffhangers Shvonne thats not right! I can't wait to read Part 2.

I was hoping that Tatiana would be free before she started dealing with Tfelon but because she wasn’t the entire story was hypocritical. Then for her and her friend to let the men do what they did was dumb but not dumber then the way Brevin was moving. The story was bumpy and needed work but overall it was okay.
