As a civil lawyer, I spent many, many years writing complex legal briefs for unappreciative bosses. To keep from stabbing myself (or them) in the eye with a fork during all of that, I also started writing down the stories in my head. All on my own time, of course ;) Turns out, I'm a sucker for hot, alpha male shifters and kickass heroines.
Now, I've thrown away my shingle (er - more like burned it in a fire pit) so I can devote my time to bringing you sizzling, erotic, paranormal romance stories. If you like hunky, bad boy shifters, women who know what they want in and out of the bedroom, panty-melting sex scenes, and edge of your seat suspense, I've got you covered! We'll put the rahr in erotic romance (okay, okay, that sounded better in my head).

Kimber White has penned an enjoyable paranormal romantic suspense novel with the third book in the Wild Ridge Bears series. It features bear shifter Simon Marshall, alpha to one of the most powerful clans in Wild Ridge, Michigan. When he learns he has a son who has disappeared, his is intent on finding him, not a mate. But when he finds a woman who may hold the key to finding his son, destiny may have other plans for him.
Social work intern Cass Wheeler finally has her life on track. She’s known a couple of bear shifters before and thinks Simon is nothing but trouble. However, she is drawn to him and they have an instant attraction to each other. But enemies come from unexpected places. Will they find Simon’s son and get their happily ever after?
For such a short book, the characters have some depth and there was suspense throughout the novel. It was interesting to see changes in Simon that are different from the previous two books in the series as his character evolves in this novel. The romance between Simon and Cass progresses at a rapid rate that is consistent with many fated-mates novels. There are a couple of spicy scenes and a major twist near the end of the story.
Overall, this is an engaging and suspenseful novel with plenty of danger that takes the characters and the readers on an emotional rollercoaster. There was a twist that I didn’t expect near the end of the novel. I’m looking forward to reading the next book in the series.
I purchased a copy of this novel. All thoughts and opinions expressed in this review are my own. This book was originally published on January 8, 2017. -------------------------------------- My 3.48 rounded to 3 stars review is coming soon.
Rebel of the Bears Wild Ridge Bears #3 By Kimber White
We were introduced to Simon in previous books where he is a tough alpha trying to remain the leader of his clan. Simon had plenty of enemy, most of that was set aside when Simon found out 6 months ago that he had son… See Simon had a one night stand with “Anan Cara” Simon set out on mission to find his son… thankfully Simon had some help from a seer… Arm with his info, Simon finds himself in position he though he never finding himself again face to face with yet another “Anan Cara” Will Simon be able to control his desire enough so that he can focus on his search for his son? Or will the pull of his “Fated Mate “rule all
Hope you enjoy this read & also always keep in mind this is just my opinion
1- Lord of the Bears 2- Outlaw of the Bears 3- Rebel of the Bears ***** 4- Curse of Bears 5- Last of the Bears .**" "*ARC provided by the author for an honest review*"..**

This is the third book in the Wild Ridge Bears series by Kimber White. I am new to books by Kimber White but this is one of my favorite shifter books. The story is original and the character are amazing. Both main characters made mistakes in their pasts and have back stories that are heartfelt. When they work together for the same goal the possibilities are limitless. I love this book.
I've been hooked on the bear stories. I can't put them down. I download as soon as I finish one. I love Love stories. But these are a must to read. And reread. Hot and super bears. Please read these books. Super 5 stars.
The one who always protested against the other bears is brought to heel in the same situation. I'm glad he found his son before Gwendolyn could do more damage.
Simon is the head of the Marshall clan in the wild Ridge, Michigan. In an earlier book we found out that he had a one night stand wit a human and she left before he knew anything about the cub. Later she died and Simon never knew who took his son and why. A woman told him of a dream she had about Cass and that this women would have a link to his son. Cass Wheeler was far more then a link. She is his Anam Cara. His mate. I LOVED this story it was fantastic. Great storyline with awesome characters that were really easy to connect to. I just couldn't put it down do much mystery, action, twists and turns. Really great shifter fans you will love this
I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book.
Cass has finally found her place in the world and has managed to get her life, pretty much, together. Simon walks into her life and turn it up side down. Simon is searching for his son and Cass may be the only one able to help him find his child. Fantastic, sexy read with exciting twists. I loved this book and would say it is most definitely a must read!
Title: Rebel of the Bears Series: Wild Ridge Bears Destination: Book 3., Release Date: #January9th Author: Kimber White Reviewer: Ingrid Stephanie Jordan Genre: #PRN #BearShifters #5Stars☆☆☆☆☆ ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• I have to laugh the first book of this series is Lord of the Bears which if you read my reviews I gave it 4stars, it was well written and the characters were beautifully matched, when I started reading it I could tell you what would be happening to the story before I read it. All that changed in Book 2 & 3, all I can say is WOW, you have to read them to see what I mean. Simon Marshall is a Grizzly Bear Shifter who owns with his Clan part of, Wild Ridge Mining Company, where there digging for the copper mines big load. Simon is one of the Seven Bear Clans each owning there own part of the mining company town in Blackfoot Indiana. But right now Simon can't think of anything but his five year old son, he just found out about. He made a big mistake 6 years ago, he'll pay for the rest of his life he was mad and got drunk. Avery and him clicked both drinking, he took her to his room at the hotel, she was gone in the morning when he woke up. That one-night stand just came an bite in the butt. Avery was a "Anam Cara" he was too drunk to see that but it get worse, she's dead giving birth to an Alpha Cub all alone. Simon has been looking since for his son only to come up short, he found nothing at all of his son but he did find his "Anam Cara". Cassandra Wheeler aka: Cass has worked hard to get where she is today in fact soon she'll graduate and go for her Masters. In the mean time she's does social work intern for a adoption lawyer. Actually she felt really lucky to be working for Gwendolyn the reason was she was really bad in her teenage years! rebellious and I got into a lot of trouble so she went to juvenile jail. Gwendolyn gave her a chance, she was loyal to her. On her jogging trail she run into a man who kept starring at her saying "Anam Cara". A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book and my comments here are my honest opinion.
The Wild Ridge Bears series is one of my favorite set of books by Kimber White. It and her Wilde Lake Wolves series seem to go hand in hand. I love that we every now and again get a glimpse into the other series through these two. Simon is the Alpha of his clan and recently found out he has a son he didn't know about. Simon is frantic trying to find his missing son. He feels like a fraud and a failure even thigh it's not totally his fault he doesn't have his son, after all he didn't even know his drunken one night stand had gotten pregnant. But as Alpha there's no excuse for his behavior. Cass Wheeler is a reformed bad girl. She has turned her life around. A senior in college with a prestigious internship at a high end adoption attorneys office Cass has a bright future ahead of her. Once she runs into Simon everything is thrown into turmoil. Now she must decide...love, family, future or risk everything and betray the one person that has ever believed in her and given her a chance to be more than a delinquent. Rebel of the Bears is a wonderfully written story of love, loss, betrayal, shifters, witches, heartache, denial and hate. Can love win out against all odds? Will Simon find his young son? Once you start reading Rebel of the Bears you won't be able to put it down. It will keep you on edge and asking what's next till the end. Kimber White has done a wonderful job of holding her audience in this book. I can't wait to see what she does next with the Wild Ridge Bears. Which alpha is next to find his fated mate? I received an ARC from the author of this book. This is my honest review.
Simon has lost control of his bear, his leadership role, all because he has learned he has a son. A son he knew nothing about. There is tremendous guilt mixed with his feelings. Most of all there is a driving need to find that young boy. A shifter in a world that won't know how to teach him about his bear and control. People who could treat him badly, people he could hurt, other children. Most of all, a driving need to bond with his own. A message from a friend's mate sets him on a path to find a woman who can lead him to the boy.
Cass has her own history. As a youth, she was trouble and in trouble. That was before. She has straightened out her life with the help of a strong hard woman who gave her an internship in her law practice. When Cass meets Simon there is an immediate connection. She is the woman he seeks. She knows about shifters. How is that possible?
Their journey is a bumpy one. The connection is strong and interferes with his search. While Cass feels the same, she has some decisions to make. The clans are supportive, yet there is an issue there as well. Loyalties come into question for Cass and her decision could mean more than she has any idea.
Once again as the saga continues, we are provided a wonderful read with twists and turns as well a love story with all the heat and passion a reader could want. Thank you, Ms. White, for a wonderful read. I recommend this to all. I Voluntarily reviewed this advanced read copy and not been compensated in any way.
This book wasn’t good for my sleep. When I got it and started in it, I got so into it I couldn’t stop reading. Late in the evening I thought okay, just one more chapter. Next thing I knew I was reading the words the end and it was far into the new day, oops.
Great story about the Wild ridge bears again. Simon wasn’t my fave in the other books I have to admit, but in this book he got to me. He changes in this book in his search for his son, meeting his mate Cass along the way. The way they meet is so funny! Well done Cass.
Her life hasn’t been easy at all, but she comes out of it in a good way. Her boss helped her with that, but there is a secret Cass doesn’t know about herself and a secret about her boss. The first thing makes her the perfect mate for Simon, but the secret of her boss causes a lot of trouble and more (will not spoil it for you to write about it to much)
I like the end of the book. I could see that happen.
Looking forward to read more in this series. You can read the book as a standalone book, but it is much more fun to read the other books in this series too.
Simon Marshall, leader of Clan Marshall, has been having night terrors for the last three months regarding his missing son. Simon had an one night stand while drunk and impregnated Avery unknowningly. Simon's been searching for his son ever since he's learned the truth. Now Simon possesses information that could lead him to his son. Cassie Wheeler has turned her life around for the better after a misspent youth. Cassie only has one more semester until she graduates. Cassie owes Gwendolyn Lear for turning her life around. Cassie never expected to meet another bear shifter while out for a run. Simon's presence presents a problem and yearning in Cassie can't explain. Will Simon tell Cassie the truth? Will Simon's son be found? Your answers await you in Rebel of the Bears.
Kimber White has done it again with this series. Just when I think I've heard it all a major twist is revealed. The characters and story build upon one another in such a way that you can't help but be curious to see what happens next. I look forward to my next adventure in this series.
Simon is a hard Alpha and does not like to show weakness of any sort and believes the bears should abide by the rules of the mountain.
This was actually a really decent story for Simon. It showed how alpha he was and it also showed his weakness even though he would deny it with the last breath in his body. His actions of the past will bring home to him that all is not black or white and that there must be some leniency sometimes.
This book did give a twist with a surprising antagonist they did not expect to have to deal with in order to correct a wrong.
Kimber White has done a really good job making Simon a bit more likeable.
I am voluntarily reviewing a book gifted to me by the author with no obligation.
Book three in the Wild Ridge Bears series picks up from the events of book two and follows the characters of Simon Marshall, the Alpha of one of the bear clans up in Wild Ridge who goes searching for his missing son, and Cass Wheeler, another Anam Cara that doesn’t know who or what she is. As she accidently runs into Simon one night, she feels a pull towards him that she can’t explain, and when he touches her, sparks literally fly between the two. As the pair are drawn together, unknown forces seem to be pulling them apart. Will they have what it takes to overcome the obstacles? Will Cass be able to embrace what she really is and be with Simon? I was given a copy of this book in exchange for a voluntary review.
A story about a bear shifter looking for his son, he didn't even know he had till a while ago. A woman who was bad in her past, but trying to turn it all around and be the best at her job. A little boy at the center of it all, who doesn't know that the forces of good and evil are fighting over him.
Cass is trying to turn her life around from crime and looking for attention. With a job from a wonderful person named Gwendolyn. She is starting to do good. Then she meets him.... Simon wasn't looking for the woman of his dreams, let alone a case. He just wants his kid back. But with a little push in the right direction he may get more than what he bargains for.
Nothing like a Rebel. Finding out the news of his son was one thing but trying to find him is another. With a little help he's offered a chance to not only get help with finding him but an unforeseen complication. One he feels he doesn't deserve. A tiny glitch in this venture doesn't help when they find out who was involved in his sons disappearance. But will they make it out alive once she finds out? Can't wait for the next book!! I voluntarily received a complimentary copy for an honest review.
I loved jumping back into the series and catching up with some favorite characters, even if they did have small parts only in this book. We are introduced to Simon who is the alpha bear of the Wild Ridge bears. He is looking for his son, whom he had no idea existed until a few months ago. Along the way, he meets Cass who is his Anam Cara. Can Cass help him find his missing son? You'll have to read it to find out.
Wow! Heart pounding! Between the vulnerability of an Alpha bear searching for the love of his life and his son, factor in some mysterious action and I had to hold my breath as I turned the pages hoping love triumphs over evil. In true Kimber White fashion this book is filled with all kinds of heat. Don't miss out on this sexy shifter romance!
I received this copy in advance for my honest review.
Cass thinks her mentor is something special, that she does good in the world. Too bad she finds out later just how wrong she was. Simon has a son, and he's somewhere alone in the world, and Simon will do anything to find him. Black magic has him hidden though and finding the boy almost costs their lives.
I was gifted an ARC copy for a fair and honest review What a fantastic story mixing shifters with witches and fated mates. With the twists and mayhem you never know what will be happening next. Thank you for the great story i just loved it
