I tried...I really did but I just couldn't finish this one. I absolutely did not like the H in this book. First off, he claimed he had always cared about the h but when he first laid eyes on her again after years he didn't even remember her or take a second glance at her. Then after meeting the h again (right after he had oral sex with her) he found a "reliever" that next day and had sex with her. Even if he was thinking about the h while he did it, it doesn't make it right in my eyes. So no...I just gave up on this "so called" hero in this book. Gotta pass on this one. :(

I'm pleasantly surprised.
When I started this I had no expectations, I try not to when reading books because that always misleads you and pretty often disappoints. This book surprised me in all the good ways.
I really like Jade's character. She was in a situation were whatever choice she made had extreme consequences. Even in such dire circumstances she chose to fight. To believe and trust a man whom on the outside was just another outlaw. She wasn't a push over she was a survivor, she stood up when it mattered. There is strength in knowing when to pick your battles and when to tow the line. She didn't have much, her life revolved around criminals and trying to survive. Paying a debt that wasn't hers to pay and suffering for things that she had no choice in and no way out of. I appreciated her strength. She wasn't perfect but she's human and made mistakes, she also stood up and owned them.
Max was iffy for me in the beginning. He was brash, unapologetic and a total douche to begin with. He didn't change much in that sense but you do get to see a softer side to him as the story unfolds. He comes across argumentative and disinterested at the beginning. He isn't a stupid man and knew something wasn't right. Regardless of him having actually knowing her in the past she set his alarm bells off!!.
I'm not going to lie and say he turns in to a giant softie because he doesn't and that isn't who he is. But my Lord he's hot!! Demanding and alpha in all the right ways. He wasn't in denial about his feelings. Yes he had "man moments" of stupidity. But he righted his wrongs and was sweet in all the ways it counts.
Warnings....
Max does the nasty with a women after meeting Jade. It's not a massive thing for me because at that point they aren't anything but I know this bothers some so I'll warn you now that it happens on more than one occasion.
There is violence. If you have triggers just be warned that it isn't all sunshine and roses however it's nothing bad compared to some I have read.
The side characters are interesting. I loved Cash, he's hilarious. The story isn't seemless but it is well written with lots of depth and emotion. There are parts for me that just dragged a little. Sometimes it's goes so deep in to details that I feel I missed out in vital parts of Max and Jades relationship. I also would have like more of them happy and somewhat settled. Greedy of me I know but it's nice to know what happens after the dust settles.
Otherwise I really enjoyed this. It's well written, the storyline is well developed with great characters and a good build up of emotion. The characters are super great and I loved the feel of the MC dynamics. The sex scenes are crazy hot and it took me on a emotional rollercoaster throughout.
I'd definitely recommend this book to anyone interested.

These boys are addictive....these boys are hot and wild and panty melting.
I love the way the author writes and each story is unique but at the same time they add something to the whole...to the MC.
I would love it more if the author had something to let us for which charter is which book (i am a freak like that and i want to have them catalogued by charter.)
Once again a amazing book with the boys and their troubles but also the solutions and the effords they put to win their women!!!

Action packed and lots of hotness!
Good read, lots of action for sure and lots of hot steamy sex!
I liked Jade. She wasn't that wimpy heroine. She needed rescuing but it was her choice to be rescued and she still helped herself.
Max is interesting. He is very straightforward for sure. He sure is darn hot too! He was the true hero in the story for his one true love!
Good read would like to read more of the series. Didn't realize this was #10. But I wasn't lost so I guess it was ok not to read in order.

Max, hot sexy outlaw, doesn't recognize the grown up Jade. She was a geek with glasses and braces the last time he saw her. She is total opposite now. They need each other, but can they trust each other? Only time will tell.

Love my BDD MC. This was Max & Jades story. I like that Jade was such a strong character; a good match for a strong outlaw biker.
Love seeing this story go on with the other in the MC, I'm still waiting for the one that's gonna capture that slut puppy Cash & knock him on his a$$. That will probably be the last book.

NOT AS GOOD
For some reason this story didn't grab my excitement like the few previously. I liked Max and Jade but not enough to want to know more about them.
Why did we not learn whether Trev and Eden had their baby yet? Why have we not read about any weddings yet?
Hopefully the next one is better.

Just didn't do it for me. This series is a hit or miss for me. Some books have been really good while others are not so good. I didn't connect to the characters and the dialogue, at times, just seemed to basic and juvenile.

Max is a badass, dirty talking, ruthless and loyal member of his club.He truly believe in protecting his brother and club at all cost. Jade is a computer technology wizard, known for her expertise as a hacker. Jade's father desperately in need of a liver transplant as the results of his history of alcoholism, which resulted Jade into hacking into other people financial institutions and transferring money to her hidden account. Johnny Darlio, an outcast mobster member come into the picture to assist Jade with her problems for repayment of utilizing her talent to aid him in his corruption scheme. Jade has gotten herself mixed up in some deep shady business with Johnny because
his plan was to set up the Back Down Devil MC especially Max. I loved how the story unfolded with several twists and turn as well as the characters were amazingly written with different pov and reaction to the things around them. There's a lot more included in this story that I'm leaving out, but I was engaged the entire time and refused to lay the book down. I truly recommend this book to anyone looking for suspense, adventure and an intriguing storyline.

Max might be one bad a** biker now but when Jade comes looking for him, he is in for one deadly intense encounter. He may not trust her at first but........
Full of danger, intensity, mystery, loyalty and a whole lot of X-rated passion and sex appeal.
This is one nail biter of a story. The plot it'self makes you really think, yep I can just picture this. Oh and the sexual tension and escapades are steam-a-licious.

It's time to fall in love with another fabulous story from Karolyn James featuring our BDD MC. This series is in my top 3 of MC books. I love that we get glimpses of the other couples from past books in the new books. This is Max and Jade's story. They knew each other back in their teens, he was her first kiss but he really didn't remember her at first. The plot thickens as we realize she is being blackmailed and has to steal Max's bike. The brothers don't trust her motives and there is tension but it gets worked out eventually. Boy does it ever. I was stressed, I laughed, I was on the edge of my seat and I even shed a few tears. What a ride!! I can't wait for the next one!!!

What her employer doesn't know is that she has a past with her target. At first Max doesn't recognize the woman, Jade Hastings drastically, but he does know that she is up to something, and he plans on finding out what she has planned. When Jade finally tells Max what she knows about her employer's plans, Max and BDD MC will protect her and use her skills against the men determined to take down the MC. This is an exciting, sizzling hot, must read, with violence and fascinating twists in the plot. Another fantastic book in the BDD MC series and I loved it!

Just five stars …are you kidding me there has to be some button somewhere that will allow me to bestow a darn sight more than that on this, it is superb!!
Five…Never…Going…To…Be…Enough…Stars!!
From the beginning it is impossible…and I do mean absolutely, totally impossible not to get sucked right in to the story, I was captive, yes and that is what I wanted to write…captive, I daren’t put it down, I had to read it all…and it was a late night well spent!
Max isn’t everything he appears to be and neither is his story.
The life he leads isn’t conducive to affairs of the heart but there is something about the young girl that witnesses his indiscretions one night that I think he knew might come back to roost one day.
Little did he know how that thought would play out.
Jade saw what Max did that night but when he took her face in his hand and kissed her, her fifteen-year-old brain could barely compute what was going on, he was dangerous that she knew and in the blink of an eye he was also gone! And he wasn’t coming back anytime soon, you see he ended up the one place he didn’t want to go, serving time but that was of his own doing! (read the book, you will see what I mean)
Life for Jade was far from easy, living with a father that was as abusive as hers was never going to be a pretty thing to read but she was a tough girl but she had to be. It isn’t until Max, is out of jail an d fully embedded into the MC that they come in contact again…the only question on both their lips is why are they both there?
Max knows what he is doing but no-one else does but what is Jade doing? Well, that is the question and all I wanted to know was just how far Max was willing to go to find out?
Jade has her reasons for being where she is but they are not ones that she will ever share and Max is certain that he isn’t going to like what’s going on with her when he does find out.
But he has to know what she is up to and more importantly, to him anyway is why? Far from waiting to be felled by whatever it is, he sets about at full vigour to find out what the heck is going on and uses every resource at his disposal to do so. When it comes to Jade there is something there that he cannot ignore: He sees her, the whole of her for some reason, there is something that just seems to connect the pair of them but he doesn’t like the air of mischief and the glint of mystery that he can see in her eyes…she is up to something, but what?
I liked this dynamic between the two of them, the aloof relationship that they had, the stalkerish tendencies that Max was willing to go to, to ensure that he had all the information he needed but I also like the fact that that first kiss still sort of bonded them together, so it was great to see that no matter how hard he might have wanted to make things different, the more he got to know about Jade, the more he wanted to know and I think we all know where that was heading!
So how much more to say????
I am torn here because I could write on for ages about the connection they had and the events that plagued them, the decisions they had to make and the ones that were made for them but I don’t want to give anything away, the story would never forgive me and I don’t think you would either.
What I will say is that they both have decisions to make that are critical and for each of them those decisions are not only life altering but life threatening too. Can they find a way to have their cake and eat it or will the cruel life that surrounds them swallow them up and spit them out?

What I will say is that they both have decisions to make that are critical and for each of them those decisions are not only life altering but life threatening too. Can they find a way to have their cake and eat it or will the cruel life that surrounds them swallow them up and spit them out?

Lost Fallen Angel by London Casey is another great read in this series. This is a standalone story but you will get more out of it if you have read previous books. (They are sooo good why wouldn't you)

I GIVE THIS BOOK 1000 STARS. THIS BOOK DESERVES MORE THAN 5 STARS!!!!
London Casey’s Back Down Devils are the BOMB!!!! She is the Queen of the MC romance. I started reading her books with “Viper’s Kiss” and have been reading them ever since. I will continue to read them as long as she continues to write them. She knows how to plot the story, reel the reader in and captivate them so that they will not put the book down till they are finished with it. I personally hope this series never ends, but I know that nothing lasts forever. I am in awe of how she can write so many books in a series and keep the readers captivated with them all. You have the handsome gutsy biker, a computer nerd fighting to stay alive, the mafia/mob, mystery, murder, bombs, and lots of motorcycles!!!! What more could you ask for in a book? Oh yea, I forgot the insatiable sex scenes!!! So, get your motorcycles ready and don’t miss this awesome book. Recommended for mature readers 18 years and older.
Max had been a bad boy even when he was young. He was around 17 or 18 and already on his way to jail when he beat a drug dealer in the streets and ran him off. His one witness was a 15-year-old girl watching him. Instead of helping her out of her situation he asks her name, and she tells him Jade, and finding her cute in her own way, he kisses her and leaves her with a drunken abusive father. Not long after that he goes to jail. While in jail he helps an imprisoned Back Down Devil brother and then he was out of jail and a patched in member of the Back Down Devils MC. Then one night Jade comes back into his life, and his gut tells him that her intentions are not honorable, so he keeps an eye on her. Thinking that if he can closer to her he can figure out what she is up to and help his MC in the process. His only problem is that his is starting to develop real feelings for her, and then the time comes for him to turn on her he can’t he torn between her and the club. He must protect her, especially when he finds a positive pregnancy test? Can Max keep her and his baby alive? Can he keep himself alive?

Another BDD Daurian charter brother is about to give his heart away. Jade is a short time blast from the past, she was 15 geeky with braces and glasses, he only saw her for a few minutes ties talked, did his business with a town thug went back and gave her first true French kiss before he left and was placed behind bars. Years later she's assigned a target and it's the boy she never forgotten but she is no longer a cheekily teenager but a woman but to her Mad never changed but upgraded. Her con is her new way of life just to live day by day and when she sees Max she knows he will protect her in a way but she has to do something in return, be the go between.

I loved this story kept my attention from the first line til the end. The struggle for their feelings to shine through but also the struggle to fight for what is right. The only thing is one little part, when Max 'plays' with Jade the first time but leaves her place and finds a reliever back at the clubhouse. Gritty heart pounding pages with Jade, computer hacking fighter and a hard fist fighting machine Max.

If you haven't read any of the Back Down Devil MC series, you really need to start. They just keep getting better and better and this one is no exception. Max is a member of Back Down Devil, and was just trying to have a quiet drink alone, when a woman saunters over to him trying to get his attention. She looks familiar, but so does about every other woman in the bar. When she says her name is Jade, and that years ago when she was a gawky teen he was her first kiss. He's not convinced and walks away, trying to avoid another woman trying to get her hooks into a member of the club. A couple days later and another run in with the beautiful Jade, and suddenly, the memory clicks into place. But remember how they grew up and seeing where she is now, something seems off. And if there is one thing that Max has learned over the years, it is to trust his gut. And his gut is telling him that Jade is nothing but trouble.
Jade has been trying to pay off her father's debt to the mob for years, even after his "unexpected" death. Now she's told she needs to steal a bike from a member of the BDD. Can she charm a biker? Yes. Ride off into the sunset with his ride? No problem. But when she finds out that the bike she needs to steal belongs to Max, her childhood crush, she's not sure how successful she'll be in this particular mission. He doesn't seem to trust her even though they have a history. Will she be able to steal his bike and finally dig her way free from the mob? Or will Max find out what is going on? Would he choose to save her or cut her loose for good?
Freaking loved this book! I love how Max cuts to the chase about what he thinks and doesn't hold anything back, whether it is with his brothers or the woman who has him all twisted up inside. Jade is no slouch either--a smart woman who has made her living hacking for the mob. When the two of them reunite, the story becomes more entangled and you'll be trying to figure out who is doing what and why. Great plot and as always, plenty of hot, steamy action to rev your engine!!

Oh wow what a great read. I couldn't put this down till I was finished.
Jade was just perfect. Fiesty, tough and full of sass. Perfect for Max.
It was a nice change to have such have a strong female heroine who was an outlaw in her own right.

"Lost Fallen Angel" or "Steal His Heart", no matter which title you call it by, London Casey/Karolyn James has another great book in the world of the Back Down Devils MC. Jade got Max's motorcycle stolen to save herself, but she and Max have a history only she remembers. He gave Jade her first kiss, so it is a while before Jade comes clean about it and who the people after the MC. She has a ways to go before he can trust her, but Jade was trying to survive while Max was trying to figure out what was going on while keeping her safe. This makes for a hot, sexy, suspenseful gritty drama, with twist and turns that will finally weave its way to Max and Jade getting their HEA. As with all of the BBD books, it was a must read for me. For MC book lovers, this is one you will want for your library. I would like to thank the author for gifting me ("Lost Fallen Angel") "Steal His Heart" and asking for my honest opinion. This is mine. 5 Stars!
