Angharad 'Harry' Russo's life has been turned upside down, but with the Mariposa defeated it looks like Harry is finally getting a break. Things are returning to normal – or at least as normal as they can be for a half-vampire witch with the gift of necromancy. Of course things aren't always what they seem.
There's a new club in town and a mystery man peddling promises too good to be true while normally mild-mannered citizens are turning homicidal. Even the ghosts are bringing portents of doom.
Can Harry put all the pieces together and solve the mystery before it's too late? Or will she be left holding the bill?
While this is a standalone adventure, it continues the adventures of Harry and her friends from the previous three books. Your experience will be greatly enhanced by starting the series from the beginning:

This was a light, funny read which warmed my heart and had me laughing out loud. I just love Harry and her friends – they are a mixed bunch – from her werewolf boyfriend, Nash, to her vampire father, to her bodyguard vampire, Isaac, to her werewolf best friend, Tess, and her ghost in the computer, they all love Harry to bits and vice versa.
Harry has her hands full - people in town are turning homicidal, there is a new club in town which is wielding strange magic and even the ghosts are afraid.
Harry and Nash’s relationship is going strong, though Harry is going to send Nash grey with all the trouble that she finds herself in. Even his two bodyguards can’t keep her safe!
This book has it all – entertaining and humorous with a mystery to solve and a smoking hot romance. I am totally addicted to this series and can’t wait for the next book!

Harry's town has a bit of a problem. People are are going just a teensy bit crazy and beating the snot out of each other. And if that wasn't enough of an issue, the place where she'd almost been sacrificed is now open for business as a nightclub. It ain't easy being Harry.
I enjoyed this book as a continuation of Harry and seeing more of her world. The mystery was interesting and not what I was expecting at all, although that could be because I'm slow on the uptake. ;) Bryce, the literal ghost in the machine, amuses me, although we didn't get to see much of him in this installment. I love seeing more of Max and can't wait to get a story with him.
Overall, a fun read.

Once again we're back for another thrill ride with Angharad "Harry" Russo in this 4th installment of the series, Hell To Pay. This time around, Lisa Emme gives us a bit more insight into Harry's abilities as a witch, going back to when we first met her and she was helping dead spirits "go to the light". Unfortunately for some of these spirits, they are ending up somewhere else.
Harry has been solving mysteries since before the series began, but this one has her stumped. Many of the "norms" (Humans who don't know about the existence of Vampires, Werewolves, Witches, and the like) are suddenly going ax-crazy homicidal and causing havoc in town. It doesn't appear to be the work of Vampires or rogue witches, so what else could it be? All signs point to a new club in town, where vampires are barred from entering by magic. Harry resolves to find out even if it goes against the wishes of her mate, the sexy detective Nash.
When the investigation proves to be too harrowing however, Harry will have to get help from her friends AND some she rather not deal with, namely her father Salvador and the egotistical vampire Tomas. At this point though, she'll need all the help she can get.
While this book is a standalone, you'd get the most enjoyment out of it if you've already read the first three books in the series. There's loads of returning favorite characters from previous books, and their vibrant personalities shine again in Hell To Pay. I highly recommend this fourth installment, and I can't want to find out if there is more!

Harry and gang are the best!
I absolutely love Harry and her merry gang. They all bring something to the story, even a ghost living in a computer! Her and Nash are moving along nicely in their relationship, Tess might have found her mate and Tomas is back! I loved the story and I always want more.

Yet another great book despite her best intentions Harry just can't seem to stay out of trouble and this time she finds herself in a real pickle with her friends and neighbors in trouble she has to figure out how to solve the issue at hand

Binge worthy
I picked up the first book having never read this author. I bought all five in the series and can't stop reading them. I really hope there will be more. Do yourself a favor. Get this series!!!!

Lots of action. Good descriptions. Characters follow their characters. Well done action scenes. Twists and suspense.
I recommend it but read the first three books before this one.
This review is very short but I just realized I never did one for this book. Oops. It is a worthy read.

Great series looking forward to more.
Great series. I will be waiting for the next installment. I will say out of the 4 so far this was a little dry to me. I enjoyed the Tess and Max part and look forward to more from them. I was glad Nash eased up some but he just didn't have the pure alpha that he had in the first three.

Hell to Pay (The Harry Russo Diaries Book 4)
I love reading about Harry and what's going on in her life. I can't wait until the next book and am looking forward to seeing what other trouble she gets into. I hope this series goes on for a long time. Harry doesn't ever go looking for trouble but it seems to find her or she gets thrust into it anyway. Great book and great series!

Another enjoyable read
A fun, well written, fast paced story. The fourth book in the series and just as enjoyable as the others. Highly recommend.

Not sure how I feel about this story, the changes to the characters take some time to adjust to. Harry is the focus of a demon, one who is connected to Di Castro. A demon who is wreaking havoc on the norms of Riverton. While Nash and his team is dealing with the murders and deaths of norms, Harry and Tess are battling with imps, daemons and learning the truth about Max Hart.

This is the 4th installment in the Harry Russo Diaries. This was a good book about Harry and Cian and their adventures. However, this was a bit slow in plot line when compared to the three previous stories. Possibly the author is setting up the next book in the series. I'm looking forward to the next installment.

Good characters and storyline.I loved Harry and her abilities ,her entourage was a very interesting mix of species.I will look for more stories in this line.I received this book free as part of goodreads giveaways.

In "Hell to Pay" a new nightclub has opened at the warehouse where DiCastro died trying to perform a spell where he would gain eternal life. The club is called 'Wishes' and Tess wants to check it out. Harry is reluctant but grudgingly agrees. Then Salvador requests that Harry come visit with him and he also requests that she check out the club. It seems something strange is happening there.
Meanwhile, Tess is avoiding Max Hart like the plague and Harry wants to know why. Since Max will be accompanying them to the new club maybe she can find out the real reason. Upon arrival at Wishes the gang learns in fact that something strange is going on. The vampires are blocked from entering by some strange invisible force field so Harry and the werewolves are the only ones who enter.
In the club there is a strange feeling of evil. The patrons are acting sexually charged and yelling for everyone to drink up. Harry warns everyone not to eat or drink but Tess doesn't listen and Harry has to strike a deal with the owner, Seth, to get her out of there. Soon they realize that Seth is trying to open a portal to allow demons into our world. Of course Nash is none too pleased about this and that Harry is constantly putting herself in danger.
There's no absence of evil schemes, fighting and twists and turns happening in this read and series. I just know that the more I read about Harry and her friends the more I like this series.
