The third Terrell brother Donovan meets his match in environmentalist Elizabeth Mathews. When Elizabeth confronts him in his office concerning a water hazard on his property, they go undercover to find the culprits. Now I hate to go there but in all three books they have changed or forgotten a character name and I find this annoying when a name pops up that is no where in the story. Second none of the characters have talked about or mentioned birth control and considering the men have each talked about sexual partners it would appear that condoms are not something they use or carry. It is a wonder they have not produced more children. And as a woman would you not be concerned about your partner sexual history and the possibility of unplanned pregnancy. Otherwise nice reading if you can overlook flaws.
First off I have just recently started reading this series. I like the familial and business connections very much especially when familiar characters bleed into the different stories. I also love how this series includes environmental concerns, the effects of pollution, conservation, etc...It helps to make the stories relatable and more interesting. Yes it's a quick jump to "love & sex" but the H&H aren't some young dumb teenagers with stars in their eyes. Donovan & Elizabeth weren't looking for romance but Cupid got busy anyway.😉 It's a quick read but I didn't feel cheated as the author covered all bases causing you to root for the lovebirds as they make a future together. Sweet..💕
I enjoy this story. It's funny how you find love when you're looking for it. The H/h in this book both wanted to find love ❤️. The h was afraid to love completely. Wanted to put everything else before love. The H was a very passionate man. He was smart and waited for her to want him and all the love he plan to give her.
The only thing I can say negative 👎🏾 is I didn't like how the story ended.
This was a great book. I'm in love with all the Terrell brothers so far and I don't k now who is my favorite. Donovan and Elizabeth make a great team. Their attraction and chemistry was instant and although Elizabeth didn't want to mix business with pleasure especially since she didn't know if he had any thing to do with the case their chemistry won. This book was full of suspence, romance and drama. Can't wait to see who next in the line up.
Exciting Intrigue! Well developed characters...great story.
This story was great, the characters were well developed; criticism is the proof reading. Evidently the writing was spell checked rather than proofread. There were numerous errors in the writing yet the words were spelled correctly. Some meaning was lost due to the errors.
When Donovan first laid eyes on Elizabeth it was live at first sight. Elizabeth had a strong attraction as well. However, she was irate for the way he treated her when they first met. The two of them had the same agenda, and that was to find out what was causing the town to get sick. Their chemistry was undeniable
Oh my I really enjoy reading this series each book is unique with sizzling hot passion that burns fast but there is still lots drama and steamy romance.. The characters are exciting with a heartwarming passion that you will burn for.
This book had a great storyline. Its too bad it is so short. The one thing I continue to notice is that there are a lot of grammatical errors. Not sure about the editors but they need to be better.
I am really enjoying this series a lot. A really great read, a real page turner. If you enjoy romance I guarantee you will not be disappointed with this book
Donovan and Elizabeth's relationship started off on a rocky note but ended beautifully. I knew I was in for an adventure, but I was not sure how much id love this story!!
Make me whole. I received the book as an ARC copy in exchange for a honest review. This book was great and exciting. I loved the suspense of not knowing who was causing the pollution in Pleasant Valley. Donovan and Elizabeth gave their all to find the culprit as soon as possible. While working together to solve the matter and help all the residents, Donovan and Elizabeth found they were attracted to each other and kindled a love that will stand through all kinds of obstacles. They learn to trust one another. Elizabeth meets Donovan's family with a curious thought to the men and the women they fell in love with. Great read!
I love the cover on each one of the Terrell brothers. Elizabeth a environmentalist just moved to Paradise Valley after years of working in the Amazon rainforest. One day she overheard something in the library that peaked her interest. Some of the people in town are becoming ill. They ask for her help. After running some tests the results show there are some pollutants in the water, armed with her test results she go to Donovan Terrell. He doesn't believe her try to brush her off. She doesn't back down, after reviewing the reports she gave him he notice a discrepancy in the reports from his company and her's, something is going on. Love the Terrell brothers, family always have each others back. This story has greed, identity theft, kidnapping, attempted murder and love. Moving on book four.
I loved the story line, I loved the characters, I loved the entire family. But, I hated the way the story was cut off. There was so much potential here in all the books of this series. There are so many questions left unanswered. -did Garrett marry Sophie? -did Sebastian just quit the tigers? -why did the the villin store toxic waste up on a mountain? I have a dozen more. I think the series is worth the read but the author sold herself short of a potential best seller series.
I only was able to read the first few pages because it was just too difficult to follow. so I can't say much about the storyline and the characters because the way the font would change, whole paragraphs and Pages seem to be missing and then inserted a couple of pages later where they shouldn't be ......in addition to whole sentences and paragraphs being repeated. I got too aggravated too quick to try and Overlook that.
I read this story first. It was well developed. The two main characters eased into their relationship. I don't know how realistic their love affairs. Billionaire professional athlete fall in love average black woman.
The characters were very strong and recognizable. Elizabeth and Donovan made good characters that were strong. The story was very "now" because things are actually happening just like it. I like the way their relationship advanced toward each other.
