Here comes Cyn’s story! If you read the first couple of stories in Ride then you know about Felicity and the Pucas. If not, let’s just say really perfect and hot men that happen to also be horses. They mate for life and live unseen to the normal world. In the first set, Felicity was sent to investigate and debunk the myth of the Pucas. Her best friend Cyn tagged along to celebrate her birthday. This story starts off with Cyn who doesn’t quite believe the truth. Combine lots of drinking with a sexy guy leading you off to meet a friend and suddenly Cyn’s not in Kansas anymore! Or anywhere else with appropriate cell phone service.
I really like Cyn and can relate. I hope her story speeds along and gets a magical happy ever after. I don’t think it’s absolutely necessary to read the first set before starting with this book since this is the first for Cyn. For maximum enjoyment, it would probably make it easier to ready Felicity’s story first.
Cyn and Fallon are such a match! They both can’t vocalize what they want and don’t want to impose on the other. They might just be separated and have broken hearts if they can’t figure it out! I knew that once I knew Cyn in the first few stories that I was going to love her and couldn’t wait for her story. Now that this is the second part of her story, I just want to shake her and make Cyn see what she really wants. With each part, I can’t wait for the next!
Oh No! Just when I thought the pieces were falling into place for Cyn, the author goes and pulls the rug out on me! I was excited to get to read this part of the story. Cyn is unsettled in her life and I looked forward to her making a decision about going back to Fallon. Instead sweet & likeable Nate is back in Cyn’s life. And suddenly, I’m not liking him nor the decisions that Cyn has to make now. I am anxious to read the rest and see that Cyn and Fallon get their HEA!
WOW, This has been a journey! I have been on edge during this last part of the story. While waiting to see if Cyn gets her happy ending, finding out about Felicity, and being really ticked off with Nathan. It seemed like there would not be a resolution of everything in time. There was a nice amount of the story focusing on Felicity and Niall. In true fashion for the rest of the story, Cyn might have found her way home, but not everything is over. The delicious epilogue has me tuned in for the third set.
