Recovering video game beta tester and tech geek who grew up going to cons and watching SmackDown. There’s probably some cosplay pictures around somewhere of her dressed up as Bloodberry from Saber Marionette J. Just don’t tell anyone.

Here comes Cyn’s story! If you read the first couple of stories in Ride then you know about Felicity and the Pucas. If not, let’s just say really perfect and hot men that happen to also be horses. They mate for life and live unseen to the normal world. In the first set, Felicity was sent to investigate and debunk the myth of the Pucas. Her best friend Cyn tagged along to celebrate her birthday. This story starts off with Cyn who doesn’t quite believe the truth. Combine lots of drinking with a sexy guy leading you off to meet a friend and suddenly Cyn’s not in Kansas anymore! Or anywhere else with appropriate cell phone service.

I really like Cyn and can relate. I hope her story speeds along and gets a magical happy ever after. I don’t think it’s absolutely necessary to read the first set before starting with this book since this is the first for Cyn. For maximum enjoyment, it would probably make it easier to ready Felicity’s story first.

Cyn and Fallon are such a match! They both can’t vocalize what they want and don’t want to impose on the other. They might just be separated and have broken hearts if they can’t figure it out! I knew that once I knew Cyn in the first few stories that I was going to love her and couldn’t wait for her story. Now that this is the second part of her story, I just want to shake her and make Cyn see what she really wants. With each part, I can’t wait for the next!

Oh No! Just when I thought the pieces were falling into place for Cyn, the author goes and pulls the rug out on me! I was excited to get to read this part of the story. Cyn is unsettled in her life and I looked forward to her making a decision about going back to Fallon. Instead sweet & likeable Nate is back in Cyn’s life. And suddenly, I’m not liking him nor the decisions that Cyn has to make now. I am anxious to read the rest and see that Cyn and Fallon get their HEA!

WOW, This has been a journey! I have been on edge during this last part of the story. While waiting to see if Cyn gets her happy ending, finding out about Felicity, and being really ticked off with Nathan. It seemed like there would not be a resolution of everything in time. There was a nice amount of the story focusing on Felicity and Niall. In true fashion for the rest of the story, Cyn might have found her way home, but not everything is over. The delicious epilogue has me tuned in for the third set.

Book #5
Another great addition to the series. I hate cliff hangers but these have me hanging in there to see what happens next. A lot of excitement, fun and frustration. I recommend the whole series. I was given a review copy and voluntarily review it.

Book #6
Good addition in this series. It has been a different kind of read for me. But it is exciting and fun to read. It keeps my attention. What a bumpy and rocky road they have. Especially with noses in there who don't belong. I recommend it. I was given a review copy and voluntarily review it.

Book #7
Intriguing, suspenseful and very hot. Haven't read all the books but what I have read makes this a must read series. I recommend it. I was given a review copy and voluntarily review it.

Book #8
Another great addition to the series. I hate cliff hangers but these have me hanging in there to see what happens next. A lot of excitement, fun and frustration. I recommend the whole series. I was given a review copy and voluntarily review it.

BAD HANGOVER

Well Cyn was warned one day she would get herself into a situation she can't get out of easily. Thinking she was going to be involved in something else and a little drunk, she has followed Thomas to the other side to fallon lol I was waiting for the reaction for this.  Oh dear! Nothing like a bad hangover to deal with life choices lol I have a soft spot for Cyn with how she has been treated in the past and having her curves thrown in her face to hurt her. Which makes me understand why she weary of trusting people BUT it's Fallon he is so kind and gentle towards her. And what he is willing to do to make her happy? Wow!! That is love.  The chemistry is instant.

CHOICES

Oh Fallon what you do for those you love! This is heartbreaking, you can see that they both want the same thing. To be together. But Cyns past and insecurities messes with her head and Fallen won't force her to stay even though he will suffer for it. She loves the place and has bonded with Darcy, but others won't except her and it makes her homesick. It's frustrating to watch if only they just be honest  with each other and maybe they could figure it out. It's not all broken hearts in this though, Felicity has some good news to share. Also what is with Nathan? Something seemed a bit off. Has he got a secret?

MISTAKE

 8 Months??????
Holy crap no wonder they are both miserable. Cyn is back to her normal life, modelling family and her friend Nathan. But something doesn't feel right and she doesn't feel like she belongs anymore. Everything she has worked towards is finally in her grasp, but it hasn't got the same hold on her anymore. All she can thing about is Fallon. Poor Fallon is deterriating, but still thinks his decision was right and the thought of Cyn being happy makes it worth it. When Cyn finally clicks on to what she wants is such an awesome feeling of happiness. I suppose in away it's good she went home as it's made her realise how she feels. Maybe if she had stayed when first asked it wouldn't of been the right time? Who knows. Get home Cyn!! BUT what the hell is Nathans problem? I thought he was a good guys and friend to both girls? Putting Cyn in a horrible position, to choose like that? Harsh. Right I'm off cause I need to know what happens next.

WILD RIDE

What the hell Nathan???? How could you do that?  I couldn't believe how nasty he turned. What have you done?
This last book of Fallon and Cyn had everyone in this one which I enjoyed. Cyn Yes!!! Finally !! It took long enough and Fallon needs you. How selfless Fallon is just amazes me and could easily love that man. I had a couple times in this that I had tears in my eyes but was so good. Naill and Felicitys baby is due and what a surprise that is hahahaha.  I have so much to say about this but I can't. Once I start I'll spoil it for everyone :) so all I'll say is I loved it and so much happened, tears, laughter, heartbreak, betrayal and anger. Alot is going to happen in the next one :)

Episode 5
A good start to the second season of the Ride series. Loved getting to know Fallon a little more. Cyn was good to know more about too but there was something about her in this one that really annoyed me, I’m not sure what it was but I had quite a bit of mixed feelings about her. It was well written and a good continuation of the series

Episode 6
I actually liked this story a bit more than Fallon and Cyn’s previous one. Cyn was a lot more likeable and easier to connect to with this one. The steamy scenes between those two were great and the interactions between the other characters were very enjoyable

Episode 7
I am definitely not a fan of Nathan, Cyn’s obsessed friend. When she told him about Pucas previously I wondered why she ever thought it was a good idea to tell him and now I bet she utterly regrets it. He is a real pain.
I felt so sorry for Fallon at times when his part is told, I just want to slap Cyn for even thinking of leaving (but to be fair she’s got no clue about anything happening back in the Realm). Loved hearing about Felicity and Niall again, so excited for them!

Episode 8
A good ending to Cyn and Fallon's story. Nathan was still a big pain for me in this one, he definitely needed a wake-up punch. Loved seeing what happened to Felicity and Niall, so happy for them!
At the beginning of this second season, I wasn’t really a big fan of Cyn but as her story progressed I started to like her and enjoyed reading about her a lot more, Fallon too!
It did end with some big unanswered questions so when I saw that a third season of this series will be written, I was so excited. Can’t wait to see what happens next and read about Maeliosa story

This review is for all of the novellas for Season Two (Episodes 5-8 Bad Hangover, Choices, Mistake, and Wild Ride). This set and series center around curvy women and stallion shifters. Definitely a book for 18+ due to sexual situations. Very hot and steamy. The box set can be read as a standalone, but each individual episode should not be and should be read in order. Please note that each of the episodes are short quick reads.

The characters and setting are well described in the blurb for each episode and the entire set, and I'm not going to recap that in my review. Please read the blurb for more info on Fallon and Cynthia (Cyn) and the Isle of Inis Mor.

The story moves really fast, but then when a shifter finds their mate they tend to not waste time. Their relationship begins with a misunderstanding. Can Cynthia overcome the emotional baggage she carries around and have a lifetime with Fallon?

I really enjoyed the episodes and the entire story.

Cyn and Fallon are such a great part of the set. Their romance was unexpected. She wasn't looking for a relationship but found someone who called out to her. He lost his wife and needed someone to bring love back into his life. He wanted her love but would never force her to stay.

I so enjoyed their part of the story. They really are a surprise couple but make a lot of sense. He brings her security and love without judgement. I really like the whole series and recommend reading them all in order.

I am voluntarily reviewing a copy I received.

This is a continuation of the series and had me on the edge of seat to find out what is going to happen. The author kept me captivated throughout the story and even though I should have went to bed sooner I just had to finish the book. I couldn’t believe how I am unable to put down these books. I just want to be able to keep reading one after another. The author has a way of pulling you into the story and keeping you there for the duration. A.C. James sure does know how to tell a story.

I fell in love with Fallon and Cyn in these episodes. Their romance blooms from confusion to an ultimate love story. They endure many situations as they try to fiND their ways.
Fast paced, suspenseful romance you won't want to miss!
