The Talents

Luna Knight firmly believes that everyone is born with one special talent. She just wishes hers could be a bit more helpful, and having two sisters that have very visible, lucrative talents only adds to her feeling of uselessness. Until the night her younger sister Lilly disappears. Luna finds out that her talent for listening may have more to it than just knowing when she is being lied to. On a search for the truth of her gift, she finds herself drawn onto the Plains of Imagination, a world of Dragons, Wamphyri, and all manner of mythical creatures. But that is not her only problem, she also finds herself caught up in a mystery in our world, when a strange man shows up at her house asking for help. He seems to know more about her talent then she does and asks her to use her gift to find his comatose friend’s soul. Despite not having a clue how to do this The mystery man, David Nite, offers to help in her quest for answers. It is only after she is attacked in the real world by a creature from the Plains, that she begins to unravel the mystery of the missing souls. It is up to Luna and her family to work with the inhabitants of the plains to restore balance and keep the darkness from spreading death and chaos throughout the world.
