A hot hook-up in a cold beer cooler changes everything…

When wealthy brewery owner Austin Fitzgerald meets sexy saleswoman Evelyn Benedict, angry sparks fly. They seem destined to clash, until a hot hook-up in a cold beer cooler changes everything.

For Austin, it's a life-altering moment that sets him on a path away from his birthright, while Evelyn must face her fears about committing to a man considered the playboy of the micro-brewing world.

The power of preconceived notions nearly tears them apart—until they meet up with brew master Ross, who opens their eyes to a deeper, even more erotic connection.

But three strong personalities don’t always make for the best emotional mix and when a simple misunderstanding causes chaos, it’s up to Ross to repair the tattered shreds of their relationship.

Reader Advisory: This book contains scenes of explicit sex, including scenes of M/M intimacy.

When beer and wine saleswoman Evelyn Benedict reluctantly agreed to allow brewery owner Austin Fitzgerald to do a ride-along with her to visit her territory, she had no idea how her life would be permanently altered. She's from blue collar roots and he's a trust fund baby but they fit almost perfectly. It's the "almost" though that might just do them in. Especially when his best friend, Ross Hoffman enters the relationship.

Despite Evelyn's childish reactions throughout the story, I really liked her. Those reactions were her coping mechanisms (scream and run), developed as a result of a tough childhood. She's strong, smart and resourceful. I liked how she lived life in the moment, full out. Austin was equally intriguing, motivated to be self sufficient and pursuing his own dreams despite the opposition of his family who didn't want him running a brewery or to be with Evelyn. They loved hard but I must admit Evelyn's behavior sometimes wore me down.

I really liked the dynamics of the relationships between Ross and Austin and the three of them. It takes a particularly confident man to open his relationship to another man the way Austin did. There's quite a lot of passion of all kinds in this story, keeping me on an emotional roller coaster through the end. I found Ross both complex and straightforward at the same time, making him a delicious character.

I really enjoyed this story despite my weariness with Evelyn at times and the fairly abrupt ending. Be prepared for an extremely erotic experience, as Crowe is a master at writing them. The scenes are so well written as they are very true to the characters and where they are emotionally at the time. I'm just hoping there's a follow up to this story because I needed just a little bit more.

I'm tapping out early on this one.

No rating as I did not finish...and I'm guilty of being too Judgy McJudgerson.

I could easily write it off as I'm over erotica. In this case, I think it was the setup that had me tapping out. I admit I didn't stay long enough to see how it would all play out and if the author was able to make me believe in this couple. The problem is this...if my first "meeting" of the hero shows him as fickle as a pickle, flighty and controlled by his other brain, how can I believe he's a safe bet? If a hero is happy to settle for a marital match to someone he doesn't love because his mother wants the family connection, how can I believe he won't be swayed later? Now, this is the biggie. If a hero brings in another male and he mucks around with the male, how can I believe that their relationship will be enough, just the two of them?

That last one is the main reason I struggle with threesomes whatever combo. I have read other books where a third is brought in to "play" but a connection is never formed (with the third) in those relationships. It was more about "playing" than "needing" a third. I think, in the books I've read and enjoyed, it was more about the attention the heroine receives.

I can't say that either character appealed to me in Tapped which made it easier to give up earlier rather than later. I found the class distinction too "in my face". Their outfits are discussed as if this is a true way of telling whether someone has money or not. A very poor person can save up all their money for one flashy item. A very rich person may shop at Target because their clothes fit better. Just my opinion, money certainly doesn't buy you taste. I also found her rant at her boss about babysitting the hero was unprofessional, for both her and her boss.

Look, I'm probably being too Judgy McJudgerson considering I paid $1.00 for it and didn't give the author a chance to prove herself. But, first impressions count. I've found it somewhat therapeutic to get my thoughts down on why erotica doesn't seem to be working for me anymore. I'm still not sure why they don't work. Maybe, it's because contemporary romance is getting hotter and I don't need it to be "erotic" to get my heart pumping anymore.

Maybe a bit more research is needed...?

Read the full review on my blog: In Love & Words

I’m going to preface this review by saying that the first two words out of my mouth when I finished this novel were, “Stop. No.” And I said those two words a lot as I read this novel.

I wanted to like this novel. The synopsis was intriguing. I loved that it took place in the brewery world, and I like the playboy-turned-loyal-lover thing, but oh my goodness this book was just a hot mess.

There were too many over-the-top cheesy lines and cringe-worthy (not in the good way) moments. The timeline kept skipping forward and I felt like there were so many gaps in the story.

However, I did power through and finish this book. Which is saying something because I’ve shared how many books I have on my To Be Read list! My reading time is very valuable to me. So, that’s something.

For the first half of the book, I was powering through because I was hoping that it would get better. The second half of the book actually started grabbing my attention, but just when I thought there would be some redemption, there would be another eye-roll worthy scenario or a huge chunk of seemingly important information skipped over… or some other equally frustrating deal breaker.

I think Ross (Hero #1) was the best part of this story. He is the whole reason for that second star. Evelyn’s character, the Heroine, didn’t seem to be developed very well at all… and neither did Austin (Hero #1). Or maybe I just didn’t connect with them? I’m not sure, but I never got a great handle on their personalities because they kept acting out of character. Ross was the only one who seemed to be a somewhat solid, charming character.

This storyline had promise and I really feel like if this book had a little more time dedicated to it, some better character-building, and the plot holes filled in, this could have been a really great book. As it currently is, though, is just messy. A hot mess. (And I mean that both ways, because there were some decent steamy scenes, but even some of those jumped around too much.)

Anyway, I’m so disappointed that another ARC let me down. I always feel bad, but I did receive this in exchange for an HONEST review, and this is exactly that.

Favorite Quotes:

You look like a constipated crocodile when you do that.

I am that guy. And you are that girl. And I want to be these people some more.

Listen, I already know you’re an emotional cripple and sometimes a high-maintenance pain in the ass, but I’m willing to overlook all that.

The smile he shot her made her filling melt, she’d swear it. He’d truly turned her into some kind of drooling Pavlovian dog whenever he so much as looked at her.

My Review:

Liz Crowe excels at sucking me in and holding me rapt with storylines that I would never read if they were written by anyone else. I am no fan of angst and her books are dripping with that loathsome curse, I know this going in so I take a deep breath and do a few stretches for good measure, and once I’ve dived in - I cannot stop reading. She lures me in with her special unique blend of word voodoo that muddles my brain and all sense of time due to her storytelling magic. I fell down the rabbit hole with Tapped in much the same manner I did with her Stewart Reality series. Ms. Crowe’s female protagonists tend to be annoyingly prickly and argumentative (and generally a mirror to our own worst tendencies and troublesome traits) and I often find myself wanting to whack them with my kindle. Evelyn was no exception to this phenomenon. Evelyn was exhaustingly obstinate, emotionally immature and grossly insecure, I found her hard to warm up to and frustrating, yet oddly, she was embedded under my skin, and as is always the case with Ms. Crowe’s tales, as much as I may have disagreed or despaired of her choices, she was endeared to me by the conclusion. The writing was highly emotive, cleverly insightful, occasionally amusing, observantly detailed, and with an erotic sensuality that had me gasping and cringing yet continually plucking at my curiosity. I may curse her while reading her works, but I have to bow to her craft - Ms. Crowe has mad skills.

The concept of Tapped felt like it was meant for me, I'm a craft beer girl through and through, but I was left feeling more like I'd drank a mediocre bud light while I read an insta-love romance novel rather than sipped on a bourbon-barrel stout with a slow burn, angst-y story. There were no swoon moments for me,

I received this book in exchange for my honest review.

I have books that draw me from the first look at the cover, and this was the case. I signed up for a review with Silver Dagger Scriptorium blog, and started reading. This book made me forget all the other things I had to do, and I couldn’t put it down. I think I didn’t even flinched until it was over, that’s how good it was. The story itself it’s perfectly authentic, and it has a pull on you, like no other. Glad I had a chance to read something new, something of one of a kind.

Evelyn is a young woman that has gone through a lot in her life. Even if things weren’t very good, she is a determined and tenacious women. She gets a new job as a brewery saleswoman, and there she meets Austin. This is a man she dislikes from the start because she is certain this a man who thinks he deserves it all without any hard work. But, like usually, opposite attracts. Austin, though is very attracted to her.

After some time, they get to know each other, and Austin really likes her. But, the problem is Austin has a best friend named Rose. He cares deeply for Evelyn, but he also wants to share her with Ross. The question is, Evelyn is going to run, or stay and give him a chance?
I loved the emotional roller coaster ride that the story provided. I'm excited about this series and cannot wait to read more of it. The problem is, it left me with a bunch of unanswered questions, and now I cannot wait for the next book. I hope I don’t have to wait long for the answers. Thank you for the chance to read it and discover a new favorite author.

First of all this is a M/F/M Romance and so going into this you should now that (which you kinda get from the synopsis). This was my first read from Liz Crowe and it definitely was a book full of bang!

The book is full of emotions, making you laugh and feel for the characters and there are also some moments of what the heck is happening?

Evelyn is a distributor who is assigned to Austin and his brewery. He is known as a playboy and the when the two meet sparks fly. The connection between these two is strong, in both a good and bad way. Austin has a certain pension for including his friend Ross in his sexual explores.

Austin definitely makes this book. And you can tell that Ms. Crowe is passionate about this industry and gives you a great experience by expertly describing the site and sounds of the brewery. It's a different kind of story and not for everyone but I liked the book enough that I will be checking out the upcoming books in this series and any other books my Ms. Crowe

My copy needed an edit. I skimmed over 90% of the first half of the book. Holy terrors of elitist parents and someone who is supposedly an alpha male is too cowardly to confront his mother and GF. The menage part was hot ...until it wasn't. There was no MM that I could find unless they meant when he mentioned it about his past. I think the ending hinted at a polyamorous future.

Evelyn Benedict is trying to do her best in a job that is mostly a man’s job. Austin Fitzgerald is a man who knew where his life was taking him. But that was before he met Evelyn. She seems to be like a drug of choice for him. And when they connect – fireworks. I find that sometimes the mood gets ruined because I end up laughing.

Be warned, these two are very graphic about what they want from the other. But don’t expect that to be the whole story. In any relationship there can be obstacles and Austin has two of them – well, actually three. The author has made her two main characters very complicated. Those complications can also get a little confusing. As I got to know them, personally I thought Austin could do better. There were times that I did like Evelyn and that she was work driven. But there were times that I questioned what she felt was more important. And she was frustrating too.

The author complicates things further by adding a third main character named Ross Hoffman. He’s a friend of Austin’s. I found it a little sad that a friend was needed in order to intervene between Evelyn and Austin. But if you like stories with a lot of complications then you may be very happy with this one. Ross does have a redeeming quality because he wants his friend to be happy. The ending may get him there but I thought it left things up in the air. I think it is meant to be that way so that the reader will get excited to see what book two is about but you’ll have to wait and see because I couldn’t find any hints.

I have enjoyed this author is the past. Would I say this is her best? Probably not. Would I read more of Ms. Crowe’s work? Of course. Will I continue to read this series? Even though I thought Evelyn is an okay character, I want to know if Austin and Ross will continue to be friends with Evelyn caught in the middle. And I want to see if our author redeems Evelyn in my eyes.

I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.

This Is my first read from this Author. Author Liz Crowe did a really good job on this book. The story is well written. I couldn't put the book down. The characters from the book is Austin, Evelyn, and Ross. This story is sexy, sizzling and steamy. There were many emotion in this book. I enjoy a M/F/M. Two men that fall in love with the same woman. The men will give her anything and everything she needs or wants. I enjoy a book where a man or men are obsessed and protective over the woman he loves. I would have to say my favorite character is Austin though. He has a great personality. He knows what he wants and he does not stop until he gets it. My kind of guy. I like a book that can make me laugh. I love humor. These characters, Austin, Evelyn and Ross have very strong different personalities. It does show opposites attract. I liked Austin and Evelyn, the best. They are a perfect fit. I am still on the fence about Ross. This trio (Austin, Evelyn and Ross) have perfect chemistry together. There are some very hot scenes. I am looking forward to reading more from this Author. This is a great start to this series. This is a really good story. I really enjoyed this book. I am looking forward to book 2. If you enjoy a hot steamy M/F/M, with Alpha males, you will enjoy this book. Thank you, Liz Crowe. Great work :)

Rating 4.5 stars.

I always know I’m going to love Liz Crowe’s books and Tapped was just another example of why I like her writing so much. Because she’s a brewer, the settings and situations where perfectly authentic. She creates great characters with a depth of emotions, or not as the case may be, who are flawed, likeable and so very human.

For example, Evelyn carries a chip on her shoulder about her upbringing compared to Austin’s. She’s convinced he looks down on her at times and that he’s arrogant and entitled. She nearly has to be hit over the head to finally figure out he doesn’t care about her lack of finances nor his privileged upbringing when it comes to their relationship. It’s a grueling process for her to figure out her mistakes and begin correcting them. I find this far more realistic than the heroines who too quickly “fix” themselves. Austin makes his share of mistakes too but I had to sympathize with him when Evelyn too quickly believes the worst about him. Who hasn’t had to step away because the other person just wasn’t getting it?

Ross is a bit of an enigma. I loved the dynamic between the three though it was kind of odd that the men were so close and enjoyed numerous ménages but were 100% hetero. The conclusion of the book was a bit unsatisfying but I’ll say no more about it to avoid spoilers.

Austin’s mom and ex-fiancé are the women we all love to hate. Snooty, superior and scheming. They bring lots of good conflict to heap on the top of the inherent relationship problems.
Crowe’s books are always well written, sizzling hot and emotional roller coasters. Tapped was no exception.

This book had so much potential, but it fell incredibly short.

First off Evelyn...I hated her. I just could not relate to her, I found her to be a complete and utter mess. Her mood swings and need to be the center of attention made her very difficult to relate to.

Second: the time jumps...they made the story very difficult to follow. You jump in time anywhere from a few days to 3 months which only a minimal glimpse into what happened during the time frame.

Third: Ross. While I loved his character and truly thought he deserved so much better, the introduction of him was off. Evelyn is fantasizing and dreaming about him after Austin mentioned that they used to share women. She's never met the guy and there's no mention of her even seeing a picture of him yet he's staring in her dreams? I get fantasizing and dreaming about her and Austin having a threesome with someone (or even with him) but the details in which the fantasy took placed seemed unrealistic to me.

Fourth: The ending. WTF?!?!?!? It was unfinished. We get no closure whatsoever. In fact in the previous chapter Ros says he's already planning on where he's going to land next. Yet the book ends?!?!? There's not even an Epilogue giving us a clue into how they make this work long term.

~~I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads ~~

This is the first in a new series and has me HOOKED!

I love reading ménage stories - undoubtedly for the scorchingly hot scenes that three bodies can create, but also because I am fascinated by the dynamics between the trio. The idea of it being only for fun, which is what Austen and Ross have had in the past is one thing, but in a situation where the word love is used by at least two people, then it is much more than just a physical playground. Ms Crowe does a fabulous job of leading us deep into a relationship between Austen and Evelyn, with the fantasy of Ross, before opening Pandora's box ... Incredibly effective and very intense.

I loved the setting in a microbrewery, with its own world of events, sales pitches and lots of drinking of beer. It is the perfect set up and gives a really good hook for the whole story to hang on. The family issues are played well too - mixing business, duty and pleasure and a missing twin.

This is a book which will leave you wanting more answers, and yet allows a degree of hope too. I am hoping that the next installment is not too far behind, because I need to know where this is going !

TAPPED by Liz Crowe
An Intense Exhilarating Ride!
4.5 to 5 stars

This character driven story is seriously hot, and well set against the sparkling world of a brewery and country clubs. From smart-mouthed and insecure Evelyn, to bad boy Ross, to over-worked Austin needing to find his way in a difficult circumstance, the story is a well-crafted page-turner.

Liz Crowed does an amazing job of bringing the characters to life, making the reader feel all their emotions, love, lust, fear and bliss right down to their toes. She has the gift of making the reader understand the characters struggles, wants and triumphs, of putting their lust, souls, and blood right on the page in all its rawness.

It’s an intense story of explosive scenes that thunders and dances across the pages and makes you feel that you are reading about real people, that the story actually happened exactly the way she crafted it. Hang on and just enjoy the rollercoaster journey. I know I’m hooked!

4.5 Crowns

Book 1 in the new Brewing Passions series.

Everlyn Benedict is at the top of her game in the world of Craft Beer sales. But when an over privileged, rich, stupidly handsome brewery owner is thrust upon her for a day, she can’t hide her dislike for him or the situation. But Austin Fitzgerald is not at all what she expected and he doesn’t just charm the customers, but also gets under her skin. From opposites sides of the track, Everlyn and Austin find it hard to fight the mutual attraction that burns between them, soon finding themselves together despite the opposition from his overbearing family and an almost fiancé. As they get to know each other they open up that little bit more. But it is Austin’s tales of his time in Germany and his close friend Ross that really get them both thinking of what could be. But fantasies are just that… until Ross appears.

Will Ross be the link that forges the gap between 2 people from very different worlds? Which begs the question… Do the best things in life really come in threes?

I have been really looking forward to this book. It is no secret that am a huge fan of this author; in fact she is my most read author by far. But what I really loved when starting this book was knowing that this was going to be the start to a whole new world that she was creating. And if this book is anything to go by, it’s going to be another corker of a series.

Set in the world of Craft beers and the breweries that make them, Liz has created 2 characters in Everlyn and Austin that couldn’t be more opposite. Everlyn has had a tough and challenging upbringing. As much as she is independent, she is also stubborn and can be flighty to say the least. She is certainly intimidated by the world that Austin comes from and whilst that is understandable, it makes her a bitch at times. But as much as she is frustrating, she is totally balanced out by the understanding and loving Austin. He is trying to escape the shackles of his family and the money and power they have. In Everlyn he finds someone that shares his passions and love of the brewing business, someone that understands him. The only other person that has shared that with him is his friend Ross. So when Ross arrives on the scene, he adds another dimension to their loving, passionate and hot relationship. But this is Liz Crowe and she never navigates smooth waters. She will always show us the pros and cons to relationship rather than the hearts and flowers; and so ensues a relationship that will certainly twist and turn a plenty.

So it does end rather abruptly, but I think that is a masterstroke by Ms. Crowe. It has left me absolutely chomping at the bit for the next story which will delve more into Ross’s life. This in itself leaves me with loads of questions. I hope I don’t have to wait long to have them answered as I am eager to continue this journey, full steam ahead.

So if you want a sizzling hot MFM read that has a great storyline, well developed characters that are both frustrating and endearing, and a story that tackles issues that relate to real-life romance, this is a MUST READ book, indeed author. This review was originally posted on Perusing Princesses

I have been reading this author for years and I know going in the emotional roller coaster ride I'm in for and welcome it because I know somewhere in all of that will be that magical moment when everything clicks and you find yourself at the end thinking "wow".

I'm excited about this series and cannot wait to read more of it. The brewing setting was so unique in a great way, these days with so many books published its hard to come across something unique and different.

Evelyn was much the way I thought she would be and I immediately warmed to her and I think this is because she reminds me a tad of another amazing Liz character that I miss dearly.

If you have come to this book looking for an over the top whimsical love affair coated in sugar spice and everything nice, turn around this is not the book for you. But if you are looking for a love story forged out of real emotions, real feelings and real mistakes than grab this one now.

Tapped (Brewing Passion #1) by Liz Crowe
3 stars
M/F/M Romance
Triggers: Temperamental parents
I was given this book for an honest review by Wicked Reads.

This story was very up and down with every emotion you could have. There were funny moments, sad moments, screwed up moments and even some where I was left scratching my head in a, what the heck was that?, manner.

The connection between Austin and Evelyn was strong, whether it was negative or positive. They swung back and forth like a pendulum. It was also a very quick connection - in a manner of instalove. When you involved Ross, it felt strained and stretched in a way that was not very organic.

This was somewhat confusing, a lot frustrating at times and in the end, I was kind of just left wondering where we were headed. I hope that the brother comes back in the next story, as it was hinted at when Austin's brother shows up.

Amount of sex 4 / 5
How explicit 4 / 5
Romance 3.5 / 5
Overall: 3.5 / 5

Evelyn Benedict is one of the top saleswomen for Tri-City Distribution and is asked to give Austin Fitzgerald, a wealthy brewery owner, a tour of the distribution stores that she manages. The two have instant chemistry, but Evelyn fights the attraction which often becomes very amusing! As they begin to date and get to know each other, Austin tells Evelyn stories about Ross, his friend and roommate at the Brewing Institute. As Evelyn and Austin continue their relationship, Evelyn begins to imagine what sex would be like with Austin and Ross. Finally, they both realize that Ross has become a factor in their relationship that they feel needs to explored. Unexpectedly, Evelyn and Austin run into him at the American Beer Festival in Denver, Co. What will happen when Ross meets Evelyn? Will Austin approve?

Tapped is the first book in the Brewing Passion Series by Liz Crowe and the first book that I have read from the author. This story is pretty steamy and contains both MF and MFM scenes. It has many twists and turns and my emotions were all over the place. I was frustrated at times with Evelyn as I wished she was not as dramatic as she was. I felt like their relationship was all over the place due to her immaturity. Although, when I learned about Evelyn’s childhood, I soon understood why she acted the way she did.

The story started out great, but became a bit repetitive with Evelyn's insecurities about being from a different social class. I enjoyed Austin and Evelyn as a couple and Ross a fun addition to their relationship. There are some very hot scenes, whether is just a pair or all three of them, but I found them lacking in the love department. Austin's feeling were as plain as day, but Evelyn and Ross held back too much. I also would have liked to see Austin and Ross have a deeper connection. Overall it was a steamy read, the but the ending left me wondering what was to come. Not sure if the next book will continue their story, or if it will involve a different couple. If it is about a different couple, I hope to more of this trio and how their relationship ends up.

This felt very different from the Liz Crowe books that I'm used to. Not as much snarky humor.

I loved the setting and the sense of community that the book showed and there were some pretty spicy moments!

I really loved Austin, he made the book for me. A go getter, who knows what he wants. Trying to break the family mold. I'm glad he let go instead of holding onto what didn't want to be held, even if it did make him miserable.

I never could get beyond my dislike of Evelyn. I felt she was weak, full of self pity, and easily pushed around. She liked to blame everyone but herself for her issues. I'm used to much stronger female leads from this author.

Still not sure of my opinion of Ross, the best friend. I didn't really feel like he fit, he kind of felt forced to me.

I was surprised at the abrupt ending but, it does leave it wide open for a second book.

I have read other Liz Crowe books and have loved them from word go. But I will admit, I struggled with this read. I found that I didn't connect with the characters, Evelyn and Austin.
Evelyn annoyed me with her constant mood changes. One minute she was angry and the next she was happy and horny. And when I say that, I am saying that all those changes happened in the same scene.
I felt like Austin was an immature man, who expected to get what he wanted when he wanted it, no matter if someone didn't agree with it.
Sometimes, I felt like I was experiencing emotional whiplash with all the back and forth of emotions and feelings between Evelyn, Austin, and then Ross.
Even though I struggled connecting with the characters, I had to finish the book to see what happened between them all.

Tapped is the first book in the Brewing Passion series by Liz Crowe. It’s an erotic contemporary romance; the story also explores a ménage (M/F/M) and the emotional toll that can have on the individuals, as well as their relationship. I would also say that there is an inst-love aspect to the story, as well as containing explicit sex scenes, a heap of drama and a lot of angst.
Evelyn Benedict at only 24 years old is the most successful sales person at Tri-City- the Beer and wine distribution company she works for. Having been bought up by a single parent, going without and having to work for everything she had, Evelyn knows what real struggle is. She has only had herself to rely on for a very long time. This has made her fiercely independent, very headstrong, but prone to insecurity, and with a bit of a chip-on-her-shoulder.
When her boss informs her that the owner of one of the fastest growing microbreweries requested to ride along with her to promote his company and increase the sales of his products at all the retail outlets in her sales territory- Evelyn was livid. She knew the man by reputation and she was not impressed at all.
Austin Fitzgerald was 36, wealthy and considered the most handsome, successful and sought after bachelor in all the Midwest. He worked very hard to gain his master brewer qualifications and set up his brewery to his exacting standards. He is driven to escape the influence, power and wealth of his parents and forge his own way in the world.
This ride along was part of his new marketing plan- he needed to get a feel for the market and talk to the retailers directly- introducing his product to as many people as possible along the way and thereby hopefully increase the orders for his product. He wasn’t prepared for his sudden and overwhelming kneejerk lust for Evelyn. He was absolutely enthralled by the natural beauty and her feisty, take-no-prisoners attitude. The day with her was going to test him on many levels. Evelyn on the other hand, couldn’t get the day over with quickly enough.
Being in such close proximity to one another for so long has their chemistry almost zinging - it takes everything they have to concentrate on the clients. Their simmering chemistry bubbles and boils over, leading to a thrilling and intense encounter in a walk in beer cooling room.
As their relationship begins, they are swept up in all the incredible sex. But every time Austin tries to take their relationship to the next level, Evelyn balks and becomes quite flighty. Her insecurity really tests Austin’s patience and understanding.
Add a scheming, controlling mother with a superiority complex and a manipulative ex and the story gets interesting. But, it’s where Austin’s friend Ross Hoffman joins the cast that the story really heats up and takes on a new and thrilling complexity. What happens when the three of them get together, apart from setting their sheets and our kindles on fire? Well I’m not one to give away spoilers, except to say you may need a few spare pairs of panties on hand, or an ice bucket to sit on. The complex nature of their relationship will test them all on so many levels. With two incredibly Hot Alpha Males, can they make it work, or will envy, competition, jealousy and insecurity make things just too complicated?
This story had quite a lot going on in it. It has a lot of drama and angst, but also some very touching and tender moments, it’s also quite humorous at points, then there were episodes where I was so frustrated with the character/s, that I wanted to throw my kindle and smack them in the head.
Austin is the perfect book boyfriend, all sexy alpha male hotness. He adores Evelyn and would do anything to make her happy. Evelyn’s attitude and angst really got annoying and I did have a little trouble fully connecting to her character and the story because of it. I understand why she is like that, but she frustrated me none-the-less. Our introduction to Ross seemed a little forced and abrupt, as he starts off being a ‘memory’ that pops up out of the blue and then continued in memory form for about a third or more of the story, before he makes an actual appearance. Ross is hunky and mysterious, and the chemistry and sex scenes between them all were really hot.
The story ends abruptly and left me with so many unanswered questions and gave me a massive book hangover. Now I can’t wait till the next book ‘LightStruck’ is released, so I can continue the story where this one left off.

Thank-you Ms. Crowe!

This is my first time reading anything Liz Crowe. I have heard wonderful things about her writing but just haven't had a chance to read one of her books yet. She has a craft with words and writes a good solid book full of angst, with a prickly protagonist, and a little menage. You will find yourself wanting to read more to see just how the story unfolds. I wish I had felt a little more connection to the characters while reading the book but it was an enjoyable read just the same.

Austin has his life where he wants it, running his own brewery, trying his best to separate himself from his family so he can be his own person. His pushy parents would love nothing more than him to stop playing around and come to the family business that will be his to run one day. In an attempt to better his company he sets himself for a ride along with a sales person. When he finds himself in the company of a beautiful woman who makes him rethink life as he knows it. He has his work cut out for him as she sees him as nothing more than an spoiled rich kid.

Evelyn has worked her ass off to get where she is today. Working to put her self through school, working her way up the ranks to top sales person. She is not by any means living the life but she is getting by comfortably. She is far from happy when she discovers she has to take Austin Fitzgerald along for a ride while she does her sales call for the day. As Austin starts to get under her skin a little, she is very convinced that he is just looking to add another notch to his belt. Certain that he could never really want her, she would never fit in his world.

Will Austin have what it takes to convince her that she is what he wants. That he isn't to damn fond of that world he was brought up in. Can they find the spark and keep it alive or will people and expectations get in the way of love?

I wonder what might be next in the Brewing Passion Series, I will keep my watch to see.

This book was an interesting read. I love Liz’s Love Brothers series so I was excited to read this one. While the book isn’t directly related to the Love Brothers series it was still a great read. Austin Fitzgerald owns his own brewery and is trying to get his product other there. He meets Evelyn while going for a ride along with the company she works for. Evelyn has an idea about who Austin is before she even meets him and it isn’t a good one. She fights her attraction to him tooth and nail. However Austin doesn’t give up easily. He manages to win Evelyn over but things aren’t easy in any way shape or form. Austin’s parents don’t like Evelyn and let her know it. Then there is Austin’s friend Ross who he met while becoming a brew master. They had some wild times together. Austin tells Evelyn about some of the things they did and she finds herself wanting to recreate some of those times with the three of them. Then she meets Ross and is overcome with how attracted to him she is. Could the three of them be something or would it be just an occasional thing. Evelyn loves Austin so much but she can’t hide her attraction to Ross. Will the three of them work out or will everything fall apart? This book has lots of twists and turns for sure. This book takes you on a wild ride. Ross and Evelyn are a lot alike and Austin is what balances them out. Austin jokes that they are emotionally constipated, Ross more so than Evelyn. While being in a three person relationship isn’t mainstream that doesn’t mean it isn’t okay. If it works for them that is all that matters. Austin and Evelyn truly love each other but Ross isn’t really a third wheel. While Ross and Evelyn share an immense attraction I don’t believe it could ever work with just the two of them. They need that balance that Austin brings. I highly recommend this book.
I was given this book in return for an honest review.

Tapped by Liz Crowe is incredible! I am completely in love with this book and would give it 5 stars hands down!

Evelyn Benedict works as a sales rep for a beer company. She lived on the “wrong side of the tracks” but is honestly just a normal middle class woman. She doesn’t like things being handed to her, likes to work hard to pave her way. One fateful day she meets Austin and is tasked with showing him around to some of her clients, she tries to fight the attraction she has to him but all it takes is one time in a beer cooler and her life is forever changed.

Austin Fitzgerald is not your standard rich boy. He is in line to take over his father’s company but wants nothing to do with it; he would rather live his passion in the world of beer brewing. Austin uses his own money to start up his own company. He seeks help from Tri City where he meets the beautiful Evelyn. He can’t control is feelings for her and has to have her, the only issue? He is engaged to be married and his parents would never approve of her.

Evelyn and Austin, after their first hook up, are inseparable and spend all their time together, he even gets her to quit her job and work for him at Fitzgerald Brewery. After awhile Austin wants to get married but something is holding Evelyn back. This put together with a horrible mother, a scheming ex fiancé and Austin’s best friend from college, Ross, would make for a lot of pressure and questions before a sudden marriage.

Can their love for each other stand the test of time through all of this? Will Ross try to weasel his way in and try to win over Evelyn?

This book was amazing, the story was very well planned out, the romantic scenes were Hot! Hot! Hot! and the chemistry between the characters was on point. I absolutely loved the relationship between Austin, Evelyn and Ross. The ending will leave you excited and waiting for the next book, or quite possibly drooling.
