This moment goes down in history!!!
And then there's that unreal moment when you're reading a book whose author is actually your friend! xD
I could not be prouder or happier. <3 :')
So starting with the things I loved about this amazing piece of fiction:
-since I haven't read all that many books in Arabic, I was very mesmerized by the Arabic here. Especially in the describing bits.
-I absolutely LOVED the illustrations they helped a lot in picturing the scenes, as I would often struggle with this in other books, but this made it so much easier.
- the beginnings and endings of the first chapters were very well-written. They had just enough suspense and mystery, they make one eager to continue reading, like I couldn't get to next chapter fast enough, so that I could piece the story together and get the picture in full.
- the unraveling of the events and the way the plot was going! Like at first I was kinda lost, because who was who and who did what , it was a little bit confusing, but then at the end when everything is unraveled it all clicks and connects together, and I love that!
-also, the going back and forth in time made it so much more interesting. I love how there was never a dull moment, and I always just wanted to read to know what happens next, every chapter is a surprise and a new action to be made and planned and taken. The novel is thoroughly interesting from beginning to end which is very rare.
-I especially LOVED the parts where you describe things and scenery, the language used was so beautiful and portrayed the image perfectly, so I really liked those.
-the vividness of the characters and them being literally portrayed in the book and using the same way of talking used in real life, it all makes them so real! Like I feel I could just be walking down the street and pump into Zoe, or get a glimpse of Amentas rounding the corner! So perfect characterization!
- Hepeki and Zoe are sooooo cute!!!
-the diversity of cultures and the coming together of these unique people from all over the world, in one book! It completely blows my mind away! I am in total awe. I especially LOVED the Greek-Egyptians and the mixing of these great ancient mythologies. And of course every other mixture in cultures because the idea of the couples of them existing together in the same place is just so beautiful. I'm dying a little bit on the inside to get into one of the magical lakes. Could be anyone ! I won't be picky I promise. :')
-the fact that I could feel your soul and personality showing in the book, it was so heartwarming.
-last but not least.. the ending. At first I couldn't get why has Rekan died so early and so dramatically but when it's revealed it instantly clicked and was really surprised and impressed. It also got me thinking of what will happen next. I just got a feeling that great things awaits ahead and I just can't wait to know what happens next! Can't wait for the sequels!
Now I just have some comments on a few things like:
-Okay so I know the book was originally in English and then you fell into the very fun act of rewriting it in Arabic, but I do feel in some parts that they are translated and not authentic Arabic, which is of course to be expected, but I felt like it took away a tiny bit of the atmosphere.
-Now I would have personally liked if the dialogue was narrated and not written in the styles of plays and stage directions, as it allows to show the speakers emotions hand in hand with their speech, but the other way you have to pause speech for a second to describe the emotion and then you go back to the speech again. However, you may have a certain reason why you preferred to write it that way.
-another thing is that I think the characters haven't been introduced enough, for instance they would be described once and then only their names would be mentioned afterwards, but because there are so many characters I get confused a lot and I don't remember who was who.
-last I felt that some parts were a little bit vague and needed maybe a little bit more of explanation, but maybe you intend it to be so and they would be unraveled in the coming books?!
Phew!!! That was long! But I just really want to say that it's been a most fascinating read, and journey across the world or should I say worlds, and hidden, forbidden ones at that! It is honestly amazing. I have gone deep into the Yamashakay world and never back!
Thank you for sharing this marvelous and beautiful world, and going through all this trouble so that you could bring it to life and bring all those who read this book along so that they could enjoy this amazing journey . May all your troubles be finally rewarded.

Just finished the book and cried....
Ekishou taught me how to live like a real woman... How to live away from those who control my reality...
Ekishou taught me how to woman up in front of my real enemies instead of giving in to being their marionette....
Ekishou made me recognise and accept the contradictions in life.... It made me feel like it's okay if I'm a sinner since I regret being so... That it's never late to start over a new page in my life with God....
Ekishou gave me the heart to sacrifice anything for my beloved; family, friends or even just people....
Ekishou made me know who I am... It made me know how I can really be LARGER THAN LIFE by any chance, and YES!! I believe I can be so... (call me crazy)
Other than all that, I sink deeper and deeper by my imagination every time I cuddle my book... I escape from my reality and cut the threads attached to my body hanging me from above like a marionette.... I cut the threads and escape... I descend with Zoe, Uska, Vasillius, and the others to Yamashakay... I fly with them to Greece, Portugal, Hawaii,.....
I felt like I'm in a Harry Potter movie yet one of a kind... Heck, better....

في البداية أحب ان اهنيء المبدعتين الصغيرتين على هذا العمل الضخم، فقد قدحتا زناد فكريهما ليخرجا عملا فنيا بهذا الشكل. أولا، لا يمكن التغاضي عن قوة وبلاغة اللغة المستخدمة، اللغة هنا تعد بمثابة فرشاة ألوان في يدي فنان، كان بامكاني تصور القاعات من الكريستال الاحمر النقي والعيون الارجوانية والشعر الاخضر ورماد البلور والسيوف والريكي الأحمر و التنين ذو الاقراط والحراشف. قلت من قبل ان مثل هذا العمل كان يجب ان يكون مصورا من كثرة تفاصيله الثرية والملونة لأنه احيانا كان يصعب علي استحضار واستيعاب كم التفاصيل والصور الفنية ولكني اعلل ذلك بقلة خبرتي بهذا النوع من الكتابة.
الكاتبتان لديهما خلفية ثرية جدا بالثقافة اليابانية وهذا جلي في كم التفاصيل التي نسجت خيوط الرواية، بدءا من الاسماء اليابانية للمصطلحات التي ساعدت على خلق اجواء خيالية سيريالية لا يفهمها الا من على دراية بتلك الثقافة الغنية وهذا احد مآخذي على الرواية، ان من لا يألف هذه الثقافة سيجد بعض الصعوبة في فهم وربط كل تلك الاحداث المتلاحقة والشخصيات العديدة والاسماء اليابانية المعقدة الامر الذي يعطي للكتاب صفة غربية الى حد بعيد وهذا ليس بالضرورة امرا سلبيا حيث ان هناك العديد من عاشقي الAnime.
الصور المتقنة بداخل الكتاب ساعدت كثيرا على تخيل شكل الشخصيات وملابسهم وحتما استنزفت جهدا كبيرا.
الحدير بالذكر ان الرواية تدور في عالمين، فوق وتحت الارض، فكان وصف العالم السفلي دقيقا الى ابعد حد كأنه عالم حقيقي مرئي امام عيني القاريء. كما ان على طول الرواية اخذنا الابطال زوي وهيبيكي معهما في رحلة من اليابان الى مدينة الياميشاكاي الي اليونان الامر الذي يحول دون الرتابة ويجعل السير الاحداث دوما سريع غير ممل.
هناك بعض المشاهد كان لها تأثير شديد وذلك لبراعة الوصف والسرد مثل المحاكمة وانتزاع الريكي من هيبيكي ومشهد ريكان الاخير وتحرير السجناء من البلورات.
الشخصيات هنا عديدة ولا مجال لذكرهم جميعا ولكن سأكتفي بالاشارة للشخصيتين الرئيسيتين الا وهما زوي و هيبيكي، ورغم ان العلاقة بينهما لا تعد عاطفية بالشكل التقليدي الرومانسي الا ان هذا في حد ذاته امرا ايجابيا لأنه افسح المجال لمشاعر اخرى عميقة وأصيلة مثل التضحية والايثار والشجاعة واخوة.
تعليقي الوحيد هو ان الشخصيات تدين بالاسلام وهذا بالطبع لا يعد امرا سلبيا في اي عمل ولكنه غير طبيعي للشخصيات بالرواية حيث انهم غربيون وهذا يظهر في اسمائهم ومظهرهم الخارجي فكان من الممكن القول ان الشخصيات موحدة او تدين بدين سماوي ولكني لم استوعب كيف لهم ان يكونوا مسلمين في هذا الsetting الغربي الامر الذي لم اعتده في عمل يتسم بالطابع الغربي بهذا الشكل.
هذا عمل شجاع وجسور، من يقرأه دون معرفة بالكاتبتين سيظن حتما ان كاتبا عملاقا هو من استثمر جهدا مهولا وراجع العديد من المعلومات حتى ينسج هذا العالم مترامي الاطراف الذي لا حد لألوانه او لشخصياته او لأحداثه العجيبة. قد يكون هذا العمل يستهدف جمهورا بعينه من القراء المهتمين بالثقافة اليابانية ولكن هذا لا يضعف من قيمته او يؤثر على حكمي انه محكم الكتابة ومسلي الي ابعد حد. اتوق لقراءة عمل جديد من المحاربتين علا الجوهري ونوران لمعي ينقلنا في المرة القادمة لعوالم سحرية اخرى حيث الاميرات والتنانين والغابات المسحورة.

لم تعجبني رواية ما بعد الواقع لأنه في رأيي الشخصي ليست هي واقعية ولا هي خيال علمي و هذا هو رأيي الشخصي بعيداً عن تقييم الكاتبتين
