I really enjoyed this book, especially page 9 which gives tools on developing relationship agreements designed to keep the relationship healthy. It's negotiable and customized to the couple's needs and wants. It also allows for personal growth, adjustments to expectations, and provides that baseline agreement that can help resolve conflicts and keep accountable by taking a picture of the established agreements on your smartphone to reference as needed.

I didn't approve of the BDSM section as BDSM is an unhealthy series of behaviors that can result in negative trauma, disrespect of the partner, leveraged consent instead of true consent and can be demeaning and debasing to those involved. Though legal, it was demonized in the 1980s and prior and shunned by society for encouraging degrading behavior. It also often serves to undermine the feminist movement and I would say if one needs to commit BDSM behavior, it's best done with an inanimate object such as a sex doll that cannot feel or be hurt.

Relationship Agreements grabbed my attention and held it for two days! It would have held my attention for longer if I hadn't finished it so quickly. #pageturner

Are you in a relationship, have you been in one, would you like to be? Then this book is for you! It will be worth coming back to for a slow reread, and so sink into the invitations (like homework, for the internally motivated)

Communication is the foundation that any relationship is built on, and Eri breaks down the various ways in which communication can, well, break down. She then builds for you the framework in which you can communicate to your partner or loved one. The language is clear, the points concise, and the examples are sufficiently specific to be followed. If you read between the lines, you can actually hear her coaching you to greater relationship intimacy.

***Spoiler Alert***
The first ten chapters are for everyone. If you are brave, read chapter 11!
