MENAGE SHIFTER SHORT STORY

Sammi is adjusting to her new life in Unducia, as Queen of the Myr. She is also adjusting to her new lovers, Cato and Caldyr – the Queen's Consorts.

Life is going swimmingly for Sammi. She has found love in her heart for both Cato and Caldyr, and is adapting well to life below the waves. But she is pained by the fact that given her state of immortality, she will be forced to watch her mother grow older and pass on.

As the date of the the Ritual of Becoming – an ancient rite of the Myr approaches, Cato and Sammi are approached by the Pirogh – an ancient race of Orca shifters and the mortal enemy of the Myr.

A new threat has emerged.

One that threatens the very existence of both the Myr and the Pirogh.

Cato and Caldyr are torn – is this threat real? Or is the threat a hoax, the proposed alliance a ruse, one designed to prevent the Ritual, kill the incoming Queen, and allow the Pirogh to destroy the Myr once and for all?

A dangerous game is being played below the waves, one that will determine the fate of an entire race for generations to come…

Mating Mermen: Immortally Human
by Rebecca Elyon
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I must admit I thoroughly enjoyed reading this intriguing and interesting book. I can hardly wait for the chance to read more. This one is a awesome read and I expect nothing less from Rebecca Elyon. Make sure that you don't have any other plans while you sit down to read this story, because I'm almost positive that nothing will be able to pull you away…I am not kidding when I say that everyone should read this steamy and erotic novella. Sammi, Cato and Caldyr, love is new . and doing well but there's a ancient blood feuds that's renewed. So Sammi must make new alliances to stop the destroying of Unducia It's all a part of her life now she is queen. I've voluntarily read this story and I am captivated by the cover and the blurb regarding the story. The characters here are great from the start of this story. There is action, betrayal, and some very dark encounters. Rebecca Elyon is an author that is worthy of following. This is a story of love, hope and a well written book. They restore their Queen and the magic, the kingdom and its people. Sammi fines herself in love again. The interactions are priceless, and so were the numerous surprises along the way. And with an ending like that, it is obvious I will read this book again and again. But wow, what a swim (LOL)!
I voluntarily read this copy because I love sharing my thoughts with my fellow readers!

I knew this was a short story when I read it but to be honest for me, it's WAY too short and rushed. The concept intrigued me and I thought this would be an introduction to a much longer story or series but it simply leads to another short story.

I liked the fact you had two very different brothers in Cato and Caldyr and hoped that more would be explored in why they were the way they were. Sammi is a nice character but again, her background is rushed and no depth is added. Yes, it's steamy and yes it certainly has potential but Rebecca Elyon falls short in providing anything that makes me want to read the next 'short story'.

If you are looking for a very quick read with no expectation of a conclusion then this is ok to read. Buyer beware though, most of this appears to be Rebecca's past collections which may be really good but the first short put me off. I'm really sorry to leave a review like this as when I read the book blurb I was hopefully this would be a novel concept on a shifter ménage tale! I hope Rebecca Elyon thinks to make this more in-depth as I would love to read more about Cato, Caldyr and Sammi but in a much more in-depth story!

Mature 18+ readers, short story, part two. The story unfolds before us as the drama & life threatening events unfold. A lot of decisions are made and futures decided. A paranormal delight.

*I voluntarily and honestly reviewed this advance reader copy and was not compensated in any way.*

Queen

I enjoyed the finish of this story. If there's a third book to this series it's a bit longer. It was over before I was ready.
