What The Hell Just Happened???
Did I get a faulty e-book of this? I downloaded from kindle and while reading along...
the story just stops.
and we're talking not in a cliffhanger kind of way... nope... right after a sexy times scene.
Just... Abrupt stop. And I think this is part one of three about this same couple and I would have to buy the next two to get their whole story???
Not cool.
This was supposed to be a quick and dirty buddy read with fellow mafia smut lover Jenn, but obviously that didn't go so well.

When the tension between them gets to the boiling point, something has to give

This is the second book I've read by this author. I absolutely loved it.
Compared to other mafia romance, this one is fairly tame and sweet. In both of her books, the men are criminals but get out and become legal. And the girls become fairly aggressive for "innocent" good girls.
I can't wait to look for more of her books. Soooo sweet.

This is my second book from Naomi West( the first was Cuff me and was really good) BUT this book is definitely better !!! I loved the characters, and the story was really well written,and i loved the HEA. You must read this book! I can't wait and i hope that there will be more books about the other characters in the book ( especially about Kennedy Squire i think there's an interesting story :P )

This is the first book that I have had the pleasure of reading by this author.
The cover of the book is really what drew me to want to read it. I really liked the title of the book and I knew that it was something that I just had to read. The book had a great story line and it kept me attention until the very end.
Alessia comes across as not knowing anything that goes on in her father's world and that is the way she wants it. What he doesn't know is that she is going to school to become a lawyer to put away people just exactly like her father. She just wasn't planning on having Dare follow her around everywhere since there is someone after her.
I believe that these two have had feelings for each other for a while and just wouldn't admit to it. I have to say my favorite part of the story is when they go lingerie shopping. I love a man that knows how to take charge and treat a woman just right.
I would recommend this book to everyone that loves mafia stories and loves an alpha male.

This my introduction to Naomi West, and I'm so glad I got the opportunity! Alessia is the daughter of a major mob boss, but there's been some trouble brewing from a rival family. While Alessia wants nothing to do with her father, he wants to keep her safe. No better way to keep her safe than to have dad's personal bodyguard, Dare, protect her.
This book has a bit of everything. There's action, humor, well-developed characters. You are drawn in from the first page. Alessia gives off the vibe of not being too bright, but man is that assessment grossly false! Oh, did I mention there is travel?! They go to Scotland! They're characters and I'm jealous... sigh. This book has great drama and some really good love scenes! I look forward to reading more from Ms. West.

Alessia and her brothers have a mafia dad, and they avoid him as much as possible. Dare is the head of security for Lessie's father, and when he sends Dare to go pick up Lessie for a meeting, she knows nothing good can come of it. Between trying to avoid danger from the Greco family and trying to avoid her burgeoning feelings for Dare, Lessie is beyond frustated. Tension and sex abound in this mafia romance, and they have quite the dangerous adventure before they get their HEA. Hot book, loved the main characters! I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

Naomi didn't great job with this book it full of action and funny
and a great love story. Alessia has everyone thinking she is clueless
but what her dad doesn't know is she is in school to be a lawyer.
Dare is her bodyguard and they both have feelings for each other
both try to hide the way they feel. When they give in boy is it hot. I highly
recommend this book you want be disappointed.
