Three books in 1! Book 1: Rebel Book 2: Rogue Book 3: Ransom Sophia Sometimes, you don't mean to become another person. Sometimes the choice is made for you, and pretending is the only thing that keeps you going. When Alexis Romera is taken and her kidnappers find her fake ID in her purse, she must become Sophia in order to keep her family safe. Revealing her real identity to the man she's sold to would be easy enough, but can she trust him? Hell bent on revenging the murder of his uncle, Rebel doesn't seem all that interested in playing things safe. In fact, nothing about the secretive, dark and brooding MC president seems safe at all. Rebel What do you do when the man who raised you is murdered, and the only witness is kidnapped girl who's being sold as a sex slave? You buy her, of course. As president to the most powerful motorcycle club in America, Rebel isn't lacking in power. There are strings the man can pull, and entire criminal organisations and corporate businesses alike would fall to their knees. However, along with such power comes intense interest. The DEA have their eye fixed solely on the MC...and they're just waiting for Rebel to trip up. Getting Sophia to testify is the only way to bring the Los Oscuros cartel down. The beautiful, dark haired, dark eyed woman is belligerent and uncooperative and unlikely to bend to his will, but Rebel has a few tricks up his sleeve to make her compliant--he'll charm her until she's bending over backwards to please him. Of course, falling for her might cause a few hiccups along the way... * The Dead Man's Ink series contains strong ties with the Blood & Roses series, but you do not have to have read those works in order to read this one. The Dead Man's Ink series is contemporary romance story with occasional dark themes that some people might find confronting. *

Callie Hart sure knows how to make an anti-hero utterly delicious! At first, I wasn't sure what I would get from Rebel. He was a military vet, son of a politician, and he was president of the Widow Maker's MC. This character was full of such intriguing contradictions. Honorable and protective. Lethal, cold and cunning. I honestly couldn't get enough of this man and now that I'm at the end of Ransom, I'm only hoping to see more of him.

⭐️ 5 inked for life stars ⭐️

Callie Hart built a stunning world, she waves a stellar story with a solid plot delivering twist and turns that kept me glued to the pages with anticipation for what would come next. The characters in the story are captivating both primary and secondary, they are described in depth, their development is gradual and well planned, it was a pleasure to experience how they grew to become who they were meant to be while they embraced their destiny.

I like the world of MC depicted by Ms Hart, it’s not your typical cliché MC world and for that I’m so grateful she brings a new perspective, shed a new light on something that looks pretty much the same, she actually makes it attractive without taking out the dangerous dark edge, the Widow Makers is a club I’d like to be part of even if I’m not into MC.

Ain’t a single man born on this planet without the good graces of a woman. Clubs that refuse women in their ranks are fucking retarded.

Rebel and Sophia are a perfect match, even if opposites they have a lot in common, they have to face many challenges before finding their spot in this world, often times some people are in their way, most times these people cause damage and pain, however both Rebel and Sophia are made of a strong cloth not letting anything or anyone preventing from claiming what it righlty theirs.

Thank you Callie for giving us hot as sin alpha to the marrow Rebel 🔥🖤

*** This was a B/F reading with my lovely Mimi. 🥂 untill the next one 💋***

Rebel Review
Rating - 5 stars

If you've read the Blood and Roses series then you may have some misconception that you know Rebel or how this story is going to go... you would be SO WRONG!

I had decided that I didn't like Alexis / Sophia when I was reading the Blood and Roses series but after just the first chapter that changed... she is one tough chick!

After witnessing a brutal murder, Alexis is snatched off the streets and sold to the highest bidder. Her new owner? Rebel ; the undeniably hot, Badass president of the Widow Makers MC.

This ignites a fast paced, intense and gripping story that will have your eyes glued to your kindle!

The chemistry between Sophia (Alexis) and Rebel is off the chart but it isn't instalove, its a slow build up

The moment you give yourself to me, it wont be because you're afraid of me, or because you want something in return, It'll be because you need me. Because you need me inside you. Because you cant stand this torture a second more. Then , you wont be afraid of what comes next. You'll be begging for it.

This book sucked me in from the first chapter and kept me hooked the whole way through, I literally couldn't put it down and read it in one sitting!

I really enjoyed this and cant wait for the next in the series!

Move over Zeth, There's a new bad boy in town!

Rogue Review
Rating - 5 stars

Rogue is the second book in the Dead Man's Ink series and picks up where Rebel left off.

I am a huge Callie Hart fan and Rebel is my favourite of her leading men so needless to say, I loved this book.

I love the way that Sophia and Rebel's relationship is progressing and getting deeper to the background of a brewing storm between the Widow Makers MC and the Mexican cartel.

I finished Rogue in one sitting and immediately started Ransom.

Full of adrenaline, steam and action - I would highly recommend this series!

Ransom Review

Rating - 4 stars

Ransom is the third book in the 'Dead Man's Ink' series. The books need to be read in order as its a continuous story running through all three books.

Ransom picks up 6 months after Rogue left off with Rebel and Sophia still living at the Widows Makers MC clubhouse, Maria Rosa still locked in the basement and the Mexican Cartel still looking to get to Sophia.

Ransom has the same, fast paced, adrenaline fuelled feel of 'Rebel' and 'Rogue' but gets much grittier.

The storyline is great and I love Rebel and Sophia's relationship... they have both changed over the course of the 3 books with Sophia becoming more toughened and badass and Rebel becoming more open about his feelings for Sophia but still remaining the absolute badass alpha MC president.

I really enjoyed this series but I was a bit confused by the ending, it just felt... incomplete. I know Cade (*sigh*) has his own book out and I'm wondering if the unfinished storyline picks up in his book - I will definitely be picking up his book. Not just for the storyline, but also because during Ransom we got to see a lot more of Cade and I'm really intrigued by him.

Damn! Callie can really write a hot as f*** alpha! first Zeth 'Motherfuckin' Mayfair and Now Rebel... I'm not sure I could pick between them!

REBEL:

This book had me torn. I loved the story premise, I loved the set up and introduction to Rebel and Alexis's story but at the same time I didn't want to see Rebel's vulnerable and tender side so soon. I wanted him to be mysterious for longer, like we saw with Zeth, and with an edginess that pulled on my darker side and made me want to both hate and love him at the same time. I think I had set him up in my mind to be something different throughout the Blood & Roses series and I wasn't expecting him as he was presented here, despite knowing deep down that he was a good guy and not one that would hurt Alexis. Saying that, I loved the book, the story and where this series is heading.

ROGUE

These stories are well written and captivating. I didn’t think Zeth’s story could be matched but Rebel is definitely keeping up. I love how this story compliments the Blood and Roses series so perfectly and rather than feeling like just another spin-off, it has its own strength to hold your attention and to keep you engrossed in the storyline.

RANSOM

I really enjoy this series but I felt this book was slower to develop than normal. With a focus on Soph’s integration into club life, the impact was dulled until the threat of danger escalated. What readers are treated though is Rebel’s kinkier side. Whether Jamie or Rebel, in the bedroom his antics are sure to please as we’re taken, with Soph, on a journey of sexual awakenings!

Callie Hart’s writing is, as always, rewarding but at times, I struggled to figure out where all of the series overlaps. A chart would definitely be welcomed so readers can understand the timelines at the point of reading.

This book ends on another important scene as Rebel, and the rest of the Widow Makers, face a new threat, but this time it's from inside the Club! What will Rebel do to keep his club safe?

„It's strange how one decision can change your life forever.”

Even though I met Rebel and Sophia in the Blood and Roses series, they both turned out to be so much more in their own story! I FLOVED the Dead Man's Ink series. It's action-packed, suspensful and filled with a delicious tension that keeps you at the edge of the seat and makes you constantly bite your lip!

Rebel… sigh! He’s definitely a mean mofo, but from the very beginning you can see that he is a protective and loyal guy. He's a complex character who went through something that changed him and pulled him into darkness, making him ruthless and dangerous. But there are times when we also see the good in him. As the story unfolds we see him from the 'softer' side that he reserves only for Sophia. I just love a badass and dangerous male character who is caring and loving towards his woman!

Now Sophia… I love the development of her character. From the beginning she was a spitfire full of sass. But there were also moments when she made me mad with her judgmental attitude. I loved to see how she evolved throughout the storyline, how she gained confidence and how she learned to trust Rebel not only with her life, but also with her heart.

Although the physical attraction between these two was instant, the relantionship development was slower. Their story is so much more than a romance. Pulled into a vortex of danger, vengeance and threats, Rebel and Sophia needed to learn to trust each other. Their relantionship development was amazing. I loved to see that they both accepted their growing feelings. Their passion is out of this world. Their sweet moments were so incredibly touching. This couple is explosive and hot as sin! I love how Rebel and Sophia evolved, not only as a couple, but also as the individuals. Together they are power couple and they complement each other beautifully.

There's always something going on throughout the storyline. Danger, threats, raw passion... this book is filled to the brim with all of it. From start to finish I was kept at the edge of the seat, biting my thumb from nervousness and my lip from the ever-present sexiness. This series is exactly what my darkness-loving heart needed. It’s gritty, captivating and totally addicting!

This is one book I could not put down. I fell in love with the characters. Rebel and Cade been best friends since for ever. Joined the service together and left together. They saw so many things in the war and it changes a person. Rebel started the MC when Cade's sister Laura was kidnapped. That is what they used to search for her. They dab in a little of this in that, nothing mayor. Cades was on his way to try and save Rebels uncle from a bad cartel's. when he arrived to the location that Ryan was at it was to late. He was dead but the cartel had grabbed a young woman who Ryan tried asking for help. Cade try to get the cartel to release her but they wouldn't. Since they had murdered Ryan the MC declared war on the cartel. Things have progressed now they had to figure out how to help the young woman who was kidnapped. Rebel Had Sophia and he needs her help to testify against the cartel. She is scared. Who wouldn't be? Rebels tries to show Sophia that she can trust them. People are dying and being threaten. Sophia is scared, but is falling in love with Rebel and that scares her more. Rebel, Cade, and Sophia are all fighting to save someone. This book is on fire with all the plots, twist and turns. The author did and amazing young with the character and story line.

I originally read these in 2016 after reading The Blood And Roses Series, which is where we first encounter Rebel. This trilogy gives you the back story of Louis James Aubertin III and how he came to be the President of an MC, and tells the other side of the Rebel & Soph (Alexis) story.
I love this series and Callie is just so good at creating her characters and bringing them to life on the page.

Idk I didn't really care for either MC. This story is told in past tense to blood and roses and I feel like there were just so many more plot holes and questions now with this book. 🫣

Notes-
Great series that’s connected to her Blood & Roses series. Reading it will give you more back story, but not required to read this series. I’ve left individual reviews under each book.

MC Gangs Romance and Crazy South American Cartels

I read this book to find out more about Jamie after I reading ‘ Riot Rules’
I wanted to know more about Carrie and Jamie’s family.

LOUIS JAMES AUBERTIN II
Aka Jamie aka Rebel is the President of the ‘Widow Makers’ MC

Sophie Letita Marne aka Alexis is the girl who ends up crossing patches with him under the most unusual of circumstances.

While heading home one night Alexis Romero stumbles across an older man in trouble.
He is injured and in need of assistance.
If only Alexis was her sister Sloane, a doctor, she would know what to do.

However, before she can help the ailing man, she is grabbed from behind and forced to witness his murder at the hands of evil Raphael, member of the ‘Los Oscuros’ cartel.
It is then that her worst nightmare begins as she is sold by the cartels leader Hector Ramirez, to the highest bidder.
Unbeknownst to her, the winning bidder will turn out to be her saviour and, eventually a man that she will struggle to let go.

Jamie aka Rebel, will take her on a journey of self discovery where she will be confronted with murder, danger, and sex...
Lot and LOTS of sex. Sex that she’s never experienced before.
Throw into the mix crazy South American cartels fighting for power, and revenge.
A kidnapping of a loved family member, and a big shot’em up with explosions ending.
This book had be hooked at the start, then once Sophia/ Alexis began to fall under Jamie/Rebels spell it kind of lost its punch as the two of them ended up screwing their way through most of the rest of the book...
Oh yeah!... there was SOME plot thrown in with the crazy, sweet almond eating, Hector, the Widow Makers...Plus! The equally crazy Maria Rosa, leader of the Colombian Desolladors cartel.
But seriously, if I had to read one more time Sophia chastising herself with

“I’ve lost my mind.”

Or
“What the fuck is wrong with me”
I was going to throw it down and scream!.
There is also a lot of the times the characters are navel gazing over the consequences of their actions.
“I shouldn’t have done this”
“I shouldn’t have said that.”
“What the hell was I thinking?”
Not gonna lie.
Lot of these stories are great while the two main characters are pursuing each other then, the plots get bogged down with them both falling for each other, and having lots of sex.
THEN.
Once that all out the way, things get back on track.
There is only so much you can take of Rebel waxing lyrical about how beautiful Sophie is or, Sophia eyes wandering over Rebels, eight pack, biceps, chest, tattoos.
Inner musings about him being a GOD.
Also, some of the dialogue between tithe two gets down right silly at times.
Example:

After Rebel gets brutally stabbed by one of Ramirez Men, and urgently patched up by Cade, Sophia says

“Does it hurt?”.....What.? ....
What a silly thing to say to a man lying there recovering.
I also get annoyed when the book is packed full of excitement and drama on,y to have everyone come out of it unharmed.
Yep....
HEA’s for everyone.

So first book was pretty good but, the last two was just Sophia/Alexis and Jamie/Rebel going over and over their relationship and discovering new and exciting ways to have sex.

Rebel:

After reading the Blood & Roses series I was really interested to see how Rebel and Alexis/Sophia got their start...and to see how Callie Hart would merge these two stories.

This book is a great lead in for the rest of the series for sure. If you’ve read any of the Blood & Roses series, then you know a little about these main characters, and a small piece of how they not only met but came to be married. This book fills in some of those gaps. Honestly, this book is the best in this series.

Rogue:

This book is the typical middle book of a series. We start to understand the characters a little more. There’s new characters that become important as well. Again, there’s elements that were seen from the Blood & Roses series that start to get answered here and there, it somewhat starts to come together, but mainly it was slow paced and tried to be something more than what it was.

Ransom:

I had high hopes for this one. I wanted it to be as fresh as the first book, but it wasn’t. One of the biggest problems I had with this one was the amount of errors. For example, we’re told both Cade and Rebel are from Alabama in the previous books, but now they’re from Louisiana. Between things like that, and the spelling/missing words throughout the book, it really takes away from the overall story.

While I understand, and even enjoy when authors give full-in paragraphs to maybe remind someone of what’s happened in the previous books, there’s way to many in this book, and they almost feel like the characters are rambling at times.

By the end of the book, there’s way too many loose ends. While we do get to see one intriguing that ties back into the Blood & Roses series, it seems rushed. After reading that series and seeing the author’s note that everything would be explained more, meaning the missing pieces at the end of that series, I was expecting it to lead to the big tie in between them...it doesn’t. So overall, this felt unfinished.

I know there’s still Cade’s book and another series going back to Zeth and Sloan (Blood & Roses). I’m hoping that those will answer the questions left hanging by this series in some way.

“I’ll risk my own life, and the lives of my club members, if they’re stupid enough to volunteer them. I’ll risk my freedom and every last cent I own. I’ll risk the sun and the moon, and the wind on my face. But not you, Soph. I’ll never risk you.”

The Blood and Roses series led me to this series when it was first released and I read them but didn’t review them then. I have now had a reread and I remember why I didn’t... I was loving Zeth and Sloane too damn much and loving Rebel and Sophia/Alexis felt like I was cheating on them! This is the flip side of the story that we have read throughout the Blood and Roses series, the motivation that drives Sloane to endure and the pivotal moments that set all things into motion. We learn a little more about how they are all interconnected and this series provides the back story. I admit I thought Alexis was stone cold when we first meet her in Blood and Roses but now I have fallen hard for the spitfire and whilst I don’t always agree with her choices, I understand them. Rebel is a man that is hard not to love, he’s so wrapped up in guilt for things he really has no choice in and was not responsible for. Living his life in the moment he has a control that is unbreakable until he meets her... then he implodes with all the emotions he has repressed. He is all in and she needs to buckle up for the ride...

The boxset is fast paced and certainly gets the blood pressure up! Filled with death, mayhem and a lot of sex this is certainly not for the faint hearted. It takes us to a dark place of gangs, drugs, guns and human trafficking. Innocents die and not everyone gets a happily ever after, this story has sharp edges and I loved it. It’s beautifully written and captures the horror of war and bloodshed without sensationalising it. I throughly enjoyed revisiting this boxset and it goes without saying that I need a reunion with my favourite couple and the rest of the books connected to this boxset. They are all well worth another read!

A five star Rebel with a cause read.

Rebel - Book 1
After rereading this book again I changed my review to 5 stars, what was I thinking giving it 4 stars - LOL! Even better the second time around...

This is a spin off from the Blood and Roses books - Rebel and Sophia's story. There wasn't any of hot and intense sex like in B&R which I was expecting and a part of me was a bit bummed but given the story line it makes sense and is more realistic that they didn't instantly jump each others bones - LOL. There is definitely a lot of sexual tension between Rebel and Sophia and the story line is awesome and the build up to Book 2 leaves you wanting more-more-more! There is also a lot humor in this book and many parts of it made me smile and I liked that. Callie Hart is a wonderful author and I just love her books! Can't wait to see what's next for Rebel and Sophia!

Rogue - Book 2
I'm totally loving this series and getting to see a whole new side of Rebel. Sophia has gone from a shy and timid girl to a kicka** woman who can hold her own. Out of chaos and death love blooms and grows between the two. Rebel and Sophia are a match made in heaven or some may say hell...

Ransom - Book 3
The Dead Man's Ink spin-off series really filled in some of the gaps with regard to Sloan's sister Sophia's kidnapping and subsequent life with Rebel that you really didn't even know where there when reading Blood and Roses. This book has drama and suspense, you get to see Sophia's kinky side flourish and you really see what kind of man Rebel really is. We also get a lot of Cade in this story which was great! If you liked Blood and Roses you will definitely love Dead Man's Ink!

This is a trilogy that I am certain will leave me running out of superlatives, it is almost impossible to find the right words to express just how good it really is…it is simply magnificent.
As you would expect with a box set that has its core in the MC, the author doesn’t sugar coat the story in anyway, she gives it to you straight and allows the characters there opportunity to tell their story and that is how I view the books, it is the characters narrating their lives, warts and all. It isn’t all sweetness, it would be completely foolish to have ever thought that it might be but it is honest, it is raw and it is filled to the brim with characters that ware willing to not only live but die for those that they love.
As the stories unravel it is completely impossible not to get sucked in, for the characters’ lives not to become almost personally important, they mattered not only to each other but to me as the reader, I was looking for their happy ever afters, be that a foolish wish or not it was one that I couldn’t escape.
I liked the fact that the author didn’t just bring the main players too life, she pitched up the whole club, they each had their part to play.
The relationships that evolved between the guys and the women that mattered too them simply blew me away and as you peel back the layers of their lives, I have no doubt that you will feel the same way.

This is an amazing box set which consists of the following novels: -
#1 Rebel
Sophie is in the wrong place at the wrong time and when she is the witness to a murder, she is captured and to be sold as a sex slave. Rebel is the President of “The Widowmakers” MC, and he buys Sophia hoping that she will testify against those responsible for his uncle’s murder. This is a raw, gritty, intriguing, thrilling, and powerful story with twists, which all leads to an addictive and riveting page turner.
#2 Rogue
This book follows straight on from where Rebel ended, with Rebel taking Sophie back to his MC, and he is determined to keep her protected and safe. The chemistry between these two is intense and undeniable. This story is raw, gritty, action packed, steamy, and with suspense, twists, and love, which all had me on tenterhooks throughout.
#3 Ransom
This story picks up 6-months after Rebel takes Sophia back to his MC, and a war is brewing between the MC and the cartels. This is a well written tale which is raw, gritty, intriguing, thrilling, and with twists, suspense, danger, and is action packed, which all lead to an addictive and all-consuming addictive page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

So much angst!

Really great story. I got this as a box set and read the entire 3 books in two days while being quarantined (2020 up suck). This is an MC / gang/ cartel type series. Rebel is definitely an alpha male and does not hesitate to go after what he wants. Sophia is young, but grow up quickly. My only complaints are how easy it was for Sophia to break ties with her old life, she completely transformed into a different person on a way that just doesn’t make sense to how people typically process trauma. Yes she went through some trauma but she was a saved before anything really abs happened to her. But suddenly she couldn’t identify with her old name. People just typically don’t adjust that fast. We aren’t really meant to just change identities like that. I would have like to have seen her hold into a part of herself, I’m just never a fan of a woman having to change everything about who she is to fit into the hero’s world. Like I said overall I did truly enjoy this series and the authors work.
Safety
No real other man/woman drama. Neither are virgins. Not with anyone else after they meet.

Wow! Just. Wow! Sophia and Rebel are so intense and I love it!

Wow! Just. Wow! Sophia and Rebel are so intense and I love it! I’ve read quite a few Callie Hart books through the years, but when I stumbled upon the ‘Blood and Roses’ series... I. Was. Hooked! And then to read ‘Dead Man’s Ink’? Well let’s just say that Callie Hart has moved to the very top of my all time favorite authors. So that puts her among the amazingly talented writers, JA Huss and TM Frazier. That’s saying A LOT in my eyes!

***If there was one critique (and I almost hate to mention it because Hart is so phenomenal)... I felt like there were quite a few grammatical errors throughout both series. Not her fault I don’t think. Just maybe whoever is doing the proofreading and/or editing. ALSO.... we learn in the first 2 books of ‘DMI’ that Rebel/Jamie and Cade are from Alabama, but in the last book of the series it says Louisiana.***

Again, I’m in total awe of Callie Hart and these characters and can’t wait to delve into this world even more. I’d love to read something with Michael’s character! That would be Hot As F*€k!

I recently finished listening to this series on audio 💖 and was delighted to be able to go back to the written word and immerse myself in the world of Sophie and Rebel. Having also read, and listened to, the Blood and Roses series, which is also incredible, I had some insights when I started, but, in all honesty, I hadn't anticipated that I would love this heart stopping, intense, scary as all heck, hot, as much as Sloan's story. In saying that, I do tend to see them as one continuous set of books and nothing can dim the impact of Zeth Mayfair 🤣😍💖🔥.
This is a series which is tough as nails, full of terrifying monstrous baddies and determined, ruthless protagonists who are prepared to go to hell and back to make a life for themselves and to right wrongs. My heart hurt at times for those who stood in the way of evil and fell in love with the Widow Makers for their strength and resilience. And what a cast. From top to bottom we have richly drawn characters that attract and repel. Raphael, Hector, 'Mother', Sophie/Alexis, Rebel, Cade....and so many more.
This series is, for me, a modern day triumph of well written, no holes barred story telling which ranks among my all time favourites. Don't ever stop writing Callie! 💖💖💖💖💖😍😍😍😍😍

I feel so bad only go if 2 stars but there you go, callie is my go to as Zeth and salone had me hooked when she first wrote the books. I've come back to reading again after a long breck and new I needed me some Zeth. Then I excitedly jumped into this series to learn all about Rebel and Sophia. However, I felt no connection with the characters. Rebel seems like he's pretending. There seems to me no respect from the club and he's pretending to be bad. Sophia seems like a petulant child. How rebel can think she's strong is beyond me as she's constantly shacking crying and being sick... The two of them together had me skipping pages, as it was, I can't find the words...anyway I skimmed book one and gave up at 65% in. I'm going back to Zeth and hoping the chaos and ruin books are in the blood and roses style not dead mans ink... Sorry callie

Phenomenal...

Oh my...but...it's...I can't...but...wow!!!!!!!!!!

I'm addicted to reading, have read hundreds and hundreds of books, I've loved hundreds of them, I've thought some were good, some just ok, and others have completely blown me away...this book goes in to the latter one of those!!!

This story/ series can be read as a standalone, however it is linked in to the Blood and Roses series - which is about Sloane who goes to extreme lengths to find her sister (another excellent story!) Well, this is the sisters story!

Alexis/Sophia sees something she shouldn't, is kidnapped because of that...in comes Rebel and bam - the action, the reactions, the violence, the passion, it all kicks in...LOVE IT!!!

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

A massive well deserved 5 stars!

Rebel and Sophia’s story is so addictive! Right from the start, you really feel for Sophia. You’re right there as she’s dragged into a frightening new beginning. The subject matter is sensitive, but it’s handled really well. You get that shiver of fear and foreboding but it’s not so dark it paralyzes you.
Rebel. Oh, Rebel. I think I am in love with you. He’s a hard man, a man who’s had to do so many bad things, but at the core of him he’s inherently good. It’s easy to see how Sophia is able to be with him, even surrounded with all bad things that come with his position.
I’ve had Blood and Roses on my TBR for awhile, and reading this definitely makes me want to read them sooner than later. Highly recommend.

Shivers this little gem was so good!

This is how this series needs to be read! I had originally read the series as it was released and it was amazing! Wanting a reread, I read the boxed set. Let me tell you how incredible it was to read Rebel and Sophia's story in one fell swoop. The story line is flawless and completely engrosses you. The chemistry between those two is seriously scorching. The Danger that surrounds them? Wow, that was simply delicious! Dead Mans's Ink keeper me on the edge of my seat, hiding out from my family and their pesky demands just so I could read one more page and lit me up inside with ALL the feels. Highly recommend series

Dead Mans Ink by @calliehartauthor

I was a Sons of Anarchy girl, loved it. And you might think Jax, the dark horse, was my jam but...it was Chibs 🤭

Rebel has that but a looooot more. And better. We ❤️ a biker boy, even better when he’s a dangerous ALPHA 😍

The DEAD MANS INK series sets up up with Alexis, wrong place wrong time and a cartel. I seriously would not survive any of these scenarios so power to Alexis for being such a boss B. Rebel swoops in and buys her from the cartel, his motives unclear and then, it begins!!!

If you’re after a slow burn, sexual tension, danger ⚠️ plus story, then this is it.

This is an amazing boxset. These stories are dark, twisted, action-packed and loaded with steamy goodness. The story of Rebel and Sophia is dark and intense but such an awesome read you won’t be able to put your Kindle down. Sophia is an innocent that found herself in the wrong place at the wrong time falling into the hands of some very bad men. Rebel wants to keep her safe but will he be able to control his attraction? Will he be able to ever let her go? This boxset has an amazing story line with some strong and intriguing characters. Callie Hart has really outdone herself with this series. I highly recommend this series!

Ok I’ll be totally transparent, when I read B&R I hated Sophie with a passion (no joke of a lie) reading Rebel she stepped down to annoyance and as I continued reading her I’m on a “I’ll tolerate her” status. I will give that she’s faced some epic things happening to her and she’s developed into a tough cookie, however the fact that I read about her first in B&R my mind just doesn’t wanna let go it’s feeling about her 😪😪

Rebel is amazing and I glutton for punishment, when you read how he makes Soph angry you’ll understand why 😆😆

I just love the world and characters Callie gives us, there’s never a dull moment.

Rebel is the VO, what he says goes but when trying to rescue someone, his club stumble across an innocent, Alexis. She was just walking home and tried to help him but it was too late. Now kidnapped abd in the hands off the wrong people, Rebel will get her back but it’s not over. But by a long shot.

There will be death and destruction. Rebel will stop at nothing to protect her but is it enough with the enemies they have. Too many to count on both the wrong side and law!

An okay series. A bit repetitive in places. Alexis/Sophia was annoying at times

Rebel and Soph

What a journey. Raw, twisted, dark, steamy with real feel good moments. All the things you’d expect from Callie Hart. This book explores the underbelly of humanity, the degradation and lack of respect that lies below the surface. and yet it’s a beautiful love story crossing boundaries self imposed and imposed by society. Really loved this and highly recommend it. Solid 5.5 star read. There are triggers so fair warning.
