Fame
As Dayne Matthews returns to Hollywood after his shocking discovery in Reunion, he faces the dangerous world of fame and paparazzi. Meanwhile, Katy Hart receives the offer of a lifetime—starring opposite Dayne in a Hollywood film.

Forgiven
Dayne Matthews is at the top of the Hollywood list, yet he is empty and unfocused, aching for real love and the family he’ll never know.

Found
Driven by his wife’s dying wish—to find their firstborn son—John Baxter sets about the search. Dayne Matthews is questioning his adoptive parents’ faith when he receives crushing news. Wisdom and comfort come from visits with a long-lost friend and then from Katy Hart, the girl Dayne can’t seem to forget.

Family
Katy Hart travels to Los Angeles to testify against the knife-wielding fan who tried to kill her. In the end, Dayne’s celebrity life makes Katy certain that a future with him is all but impossible. Dayne searches for answers he cannot seem to find. Ultimately his journey leads him to an isolated beach where God makes Dayne’s future as clear as the waters of Cancun.

Forever
Katy Hart is thrilled about her future with Hollywood’s Dayne Matthews. But as she plans a wedding and looks for a house on the shores of Lake Monroe, she receives tragic news. Only a miracle can help them find their way through.

First of all, I am not a big reader, but once I read Fame, (the first book of the Firstborn series) I was hooked. I had to get the second and then the third! Karen has a way of writing that keeps me interested and not many authors can do this. I also love how she ties a spiritual side to it. These books have helped me realize that anything is possible with God.
Found starts off with Dayne finding out some news that shakes his whole life. He has many questions about his life at that point. John Baxter also takes a leap by trying to find his firstborn son by hiring a private investigator. He ends up finding out that his search reaches a dead end... but he does not give up. John's attitude to keep pressing on eventually leads to him finding his son. That is most likely why this book is titled Found! =)It was a great book and it leaves me wanting to get Family which is the next book.
I cannot wait to finish this series and find out what happens and I hope that you can enjoy reading this series as much as I am!

These books are fabulous, thank you Karen Kingsbury for your wonderful writing!
The Baxters are here again, only the main characters are Katy Hart, the small town director of CKT, Christian Kids Theater, and Dwayne Matthew’s, the handsome actor from Hollywood. You get to meet the Flannigans, the great family that Katy rents an apartment from, and most of the kids in CKT.
All of the books draw you into them, like you are right there in Bloomington with them! I still would love to be a part of this wonderful family and live in this beautiful town, with the wonderful people there! There is a lot of Christian talk, with the Bible, and prayer. I would highly recommend reading them, very worth it!

Karen Kingsbury is Amazingly Glorifying God in this Collection!

I would recommend this book highly to everyone. It feels like you are in the story with the Baxter family in every part and because it is faith based my personal faith was strengthened too with such Joy in the midst of the storms of life by letting God lead. Can't wait to start the next one . Excellent read as I could not put the book down and it felt like watching a movie except you could smell, taste, and touch . God was truly given the glory for the miracles!

Stories for everyone!

I have enjoyed Karen Kingsbury and her writing for a while. Karen can weave a story that makes you feel part of the narrative. Going from happy, to exciting, to tears of sorrow and joy. We love to read her stories of hope in Christ as a family of God.
This is a great set of books for every reader. I highly recommend it to family and friends! Have your tissues ready.

You Become a Part of the Story

No one can give it but the highest reviews because Kingsbury allows you to become a part of the story—it isn’t just fiction. One senses the emotions that they have—the apprehension, fears, joys, and pain. Most profoundly is the message of faith woven throughout the story.

Karen Kingsbury has done it again!!!

The Firstborn Series are books about life, love, tragedy, forgiveness and family. But mainly it is about how our God is faithful, all knowing and forever present!

I have laughed, cried, been happy and angry…all the feels come out in the books about The Baxters!!!

This was a wonderful series! I love the progression of the series! The trials and tribulations everyone had to go through to get to where they are in the end.

I enjoyed these books again. Mainly, Karen Kingsbury's fiction is a good read because it is clean and the Christian themes throughout her book are that God has a plan for us. And that he wants to bless and prosper us. Also that a happy, strong, Christian family is more important to one's happiness than anything else.

Kingsbury tries to cover a wide variety of challenges that people go through in her books, such as death, adultery, children with disabilities, infertility, alcoholism, rebellion, etc. Because she covers such a wide variety and has so many characters, most of the challenges and people don't really go in depth, and the resolutions tend to be fast and glossed over.

Her stories are upbeat and positive and have so many good messages, that I give them all 4 stars. I think when my kids get older, I would like them to read these books. They don't seem to be too preachy to me. They are also entertaining, like a Lifetime movie plot but without all the sleaziness! : )

If you are going to read this series, you need to read the series before this because it has the same characters. I think it is called the Redemption Series.

I am reading books by Karen Kingsberry- the First born series. It is a total of 4 or 5 books. Read them all. They all start with the letter F. Fame, Forgiven, Found and I can't remember the last one. Religous fiction. Easy reads. The only problem is there were 4 books before this series that lead up to it (which I did not read) and there are 4 books after this series that finishes the stories. Sort of money maker for the author. That is at least 12 books all about the same people

I am currently reading the third book, but she keeps refering to things that are not in the first of second. Do she have a book before Fame? She talks about the little girl that nearly drown in a swimming pool, that I have no idea where this came from?

Not literary masterpieces, but somewhat fun reads. Cheesy and light. I like to know what happens to the characters but you can skim and just try to get to the drama, of which there is plenty.

I think I am done w/Kingsbury for awhile, though. There are more series but I am moving on! :)

I enjoyed these books but after so many was ready for the characters to just "get over it" if you will. It was a good read and enjoyable, just maybe drawn out a little too long.
