The Mystery of Entity303 #3

Mission to the Moon

Rate this book
This adventure series is created especially for readers who love the fight of good vs. evil, magical academies like Hogwarts in the Harry Potter saga, and games like Minecraft, Terraria, and Pokemon GO. Entity303, the cruel villain who has poisoned vanilla Minecraft with dangerous and bizarre mods, was able to escape the sky-islands of Mystcraft, leaving the surface of Minecraft in a giant rocket. Gameknight999 knows Weaver must be sent back into the past so the timeline can be repaired and the eventual destruction of all the Minecraft worlds can be stopped. But to send him back, they must find the time-traveling portal that brought Weaver to the future. And only Entity303 knows the location. They have no choice; Gameknight999 and his friends must follow behind, landing on a strange and barren lunar landscape, a world stranger and more alien (in more ways than one) than any other Minecraft mod. It’s here that they must battle outer space mobs, combat monster bosses, and find Entity303. But as they close in on the terrible user, Gameknight999 will discover Entity303’s real scheme, and the very thought of what the evil user plans will fill everyone with terror. Can the User-that-is-not-a-user catch Entity303 as he travels through the cold reaches of universe, before it’s too late? Come along with Gameknight999 on his most thrilling adventure yet, to a biome unlike anything else in the outer space!

I LOVED this book because MINECRAFT IS EPIC!!! In this book Gameknight999 is following Entity303 who is trying to use galacticraft to destroy all of minecraft. I liked the part when he defeated the Mars boss.

I haven't personally read this book; Minecraft is not my thing, no matter how hard my son tries to get me to play, and fantasy battles are really not my thing, no matter how hard my husband tries to get me to watch Lord of the Rings. The kiddo LOVES these books. And while reading Taran Wanderer out loud as our bedtime book, the kiddo blurted out, "Never focus on the What Ifs! Only focus on the Right Now!" I was impressed with his insight, and then, admittedly, I was gobsmacked when he said, "I learned that from the GameKnight999 books."

Never judge a book by its video game premise, I guess. Good on ya, Mark Cheverton.

This book continues what has happend before this and is a good ending for this ternary of books. This one takes place in the galacticraft mod. gamenight999, crafter, digger, hunter, stitcher, empech, forpech, and more chase after entity404 to try to stop the caos that he has caused to Minecraft.

I could lie and say I kept a straight face when reading this. I could lie and say that I didn't cry.
How did I get to the point when I cried about such a silly Minecraft adventure?
Well, it took me two years(I have now been into this series for three years, it has been half a year since I first read this book) from my first GK999 book to read this one, and this series has played a substantial part in my life, so of course I cried.

This series is so, so, so special to me, as it helped me through a long depression and still does, and though it may not be everyone's jam, it is still full of heart and each and every character feels alive.

I am so, so glad that this series did not paint Gameknight as the only saviour, as the entire eighteen book series is all about friendship , and I would have been solely disappointed if this series ignored that. I am glad that the final solution was the power of friendship. I also can't believe that GK and his friends did the magic friendship blast, well, at the end of the day, friendship is magical, after all.

Also, when GK is going back to the village, there is this line , 'I refuse to consider the what-ifs,' . Oh boy, if you've read this series, you'll know GK's issue with the what-ifs. And here, he finally gets over it, and I am so glad about this.

Only complaint, Entity303. I hate him, and wish there was a better villain to send this series off. (Krael is the final villain in The Farlands, and I prefer him by quite a bit. I would also recommend The Farlands!)

I cried for pretty much the entire book, of course, and this series has and will continue to impact my life in a positive way.

There is a saying,

'Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened,'

So I'll smile. And hold this series in my heart, forever.

________
So yeah, would recommend, but make sure to read all the other books before this one for maximum emotional impact, and understanding.
If it's not for you, then that's okay, but I dearly hope you enjoy!

(Also I would love more GK999 books, I know it's been ten years since this released but if there were more GK999 adventures in Minecraft, I would cry of joy...)
