A simple easy to read book that contains obvious yet powerful ideas. I liked it because it isn't a challenging read and it helps to identify excuses your brain commonly conjures, and gives actionable steps to thwart them. Awareness is most of the battle.

I read a bit of the sample before I lashed out and spent $1.30 on this ebook. [woot, she's the last of the big spenders.]

The excuse “I’m not good enough” is directly related to the fear of failure. Once we realize that we consider failure a reflection of who we are instead of the potential of who we can be, we can turn things around. As soon as we realize we are looking at things the wrong way, we open the door to eliminating excuses and failing without fear. (p. 24).

He is very honest about his life, tells a lot of the 'I messed up like this, so don't do that' kind of stories.

It's not bad, but the big issue is all the links are broken, the website is gone and the Help sheets that form part of the content are thus missing.

So, your mileage may vary.

Highly enjoyable and hugely relatable

I was recommended this book by a friend and I'm so glad I read it! Not only is it an absolutely fascinating concept, it's well researched, well written, and has beautiful moments of humour that make the whole book a delight to get through.

The short chapters are easily digestible, and the way the writer included examples from his own life made each lesson more real and infinitely more relatable. The tasks recommended for each excuse are both simple and practical, and i look forward to getting to work on them very soon - no excuses!

Looking forward to more from this writer, definitely worth following!

A short and perky book. It is completely experiential. Once more we have a data set of one - the author - explaining how his life is generalizable to others.

There are some interesting concepts encircling failure. This was the best chapter of the book.

The rest of the book explores how a man was disappointed, got a new wife, got a new life, and the family is file. Billy Joel is not the foundation for a life strategy.

An interesting read. Author Gabriel Manchuret shares stories from his own life, and offers lessons that can be learned on how to build wins to propel you towards the life that you want.

The book is almost autobiographical in nature, with some blunt, practical advice and tips on self-development.

Ditch the excuses and live a beautiful life!

I found this book really interesting and enjoyable to read. Unlike many other books in the ‘self help’ genre this author takes the reader on a journey drawing from examples in his own life - this part autobiographical approaches coupled with some very relatable tips for overcoming your own excuses and climb your own Kilimanjaro!
