Gone was the man Jake Summers had become; in his place, there were only questions . . .
After having been abducted from an FBI operation, Jake Summers wakes up the victim of an explosion in London a week later. He is perhaps the sole witness to the start of a massive terrorist plot, but his memory of the event--and of the last twelve years of his life--have been erased.
Jake's not sure if he can be the man he once was to help the government stop another attack. But when MI6 agent Alexa Ryan shows up needing his help, Jake begins to recall some of his past. And some of those memories include her.
Alexa Ryan has been keeping secrets since the day she became an MI6 agent, and the life of a spy--no social life, no love life--is beginning to wear. When she's ordered to share her true identity with the one man she didn't think she'd ever see again--a man who doesn't even remember her--she's conflicted about how much to reveal about their past. For more than a year she has been struggling to take down a notorious cyber-terrorist group, whose leader seeks retribution against America and Britain. Alexa doesn't have time to work a new operation involving Jake . . . even though everything inside of her begs to be near him.
When Alexa discovers a link between her cyber case and Jake's disappearance, the two agents are drawn together to fight a common enemy. But will Jake reclaim his memories in time to stop the attack? And will Alexa be able to open her heart once more to the man she had thought was lost?
*Stand-alone romantic thriller. Told in 3rd person POV.*
Brittney Sahin began writing at an early age, with the dream to be a published author before the age of 18. Although academic pursuits (and, later, a teaching career) interrupted her aspirations, she never stopped writing—never stopped imagining.
It wasn’t until her students encouraged her to follow her dreams that Brittney said goodbye to Upstate New York in order to start a new adventure in the place she was raised: Charlotte, North Carolina. Here, she decided to take her students’ advice and begin to write again.
In 2015, she published her first novel, The Safe Bet. When she is not working on upcoming novels, she spends time with her family. She is a proud mother of two boys and a lover of suspense novels, coffee, and the outdoors.
Alexa, an M16 agent working a highly classified case involving technological warfare, reminisces often of the man who made her feel alive a year ago, but she knows nothing about him and her distraction can only cause problems for her case. Jake, missing 12 years of his life, has no idea why he would have been involved in an FBI operation to stop a terrorist threat, his last memory involves football. Thrust together on a case that involves both Britain and the US, Alexa keeps their time together a secret, but Jake's memories are returning with each step closer to stopping the terrorist.
"'I want you to remember, but-' 'But you're afraid?' He cocked his head, studying her. How could this woman fight terrorist but be fearful of her own feelings?"
A romantic thriller with an espionage focused story line probably isn't what I'm known for loving, but Brittney Sahin just changed all of that with the release of Deadly Consequences. It's suspenseful, it's romantic, and it's definitely her best writing yet. Plus, you can tell the amount of research that went into this novel, with main characters Jake and Alexa both working high risk careers with the FBI and the British M16, respectively. Both their lives revolve around their careers, especially with a terrorist threat looming and Jake losing his memory after an FBI operation gone wrong. I loved both characters and I was over the moon about their perfect chemistry. Their story is the second chance kind I swoon over, but the history surrounding their separation is unique for sure. Alexa, like many of Brittney Sahin's female heroines, is a strong, independent woman, but this time she has a career to match. She's full of spunk, but she's lacking in romance. Jake is as handsome as ever. Have I mentioned how excited I am to finally have his story? He's definitely more than meets the eye and I loved getting to know him so deeply, especially with his missing memory. Together they have shocking chemistry, but both try to focus on the case. I loved how Brittney set these two up, the perfect amount of suspense and surprise to keep us satisfied with the romance and the counter terrorism plot line equally. Everything tied together perfectly and I was so swept up in this story that I read it in one very short sitting.
"'Look at me, Alexa.' 'I-I can;t.' 'Why not?' he rasped. 'Because I'm afraid of wanting you, Jake.'"
The perfect blend of action and swooning, Deadly Consequences by Brittney Sahin will more than please fans of Romantic Suspense. With extensive detailing and descriptive dialogue, readers will be swept up in this story of two lost souls finding one another amidst a deadly attack that could hurt the USA and Britain equally. It was intense, it was gripping...it was absolutely perfect. But can I have more of Jake, please? I LOVE HIM.
"He knew one thing with certainty-he needed this woman more than he needed their memories together. The here and now would be more than enough."
My Rating: 5 Stars! Absolutely fantastic! I'm speechless right now; this book was full of so many emotions. Deadly Consequences is written by author Brittney Sahin. Genres: Romantic Suspense Thriller Published: March 27, 2017 Read: March 31, 2017 POV: Third-person dual Standalone (however interconnected with author's previous titles)
Brittney Sahin has written another fantastic novel! Every one of her titles I have had the pleasure of reading, totally blew me away. Truth is, I was so in love with Forever Dublin, that I had my doubts that any of Brittney's other titles could stand up to the bar that I set so high. In addition, suspense/thriller is not my first choices in the romance genre. I mean no disrespect, but if all the authors in the romantic suspense genre wrote like Brittney, I would need to chance my preferences. I will never turn down this author's books. Deadly Consequences is new favorite!
Jake and Alexa.......
I won'r describe the premise because the blurb does a great job at that.
Beautiful, British spy meets sexy, FBI cowboy.......
Deadly Consequences deals with espionage, cyber-terrorism and everything and anything that goes with it. I mean that literally. There was an abundance of complexity in this novel and with the characters. The are several secondary characters constantly along side the H/h throughout the whole book. So much so that I felt very connected to them as well. At one time I even felt sympathy for the villain. I want to add that one character in particular, Xander, has a special place in my heart. I won't go into the details but Brittney nearly caused me to lose my mind and throw my Kindle. Nearly, but I did not. I can't say anything more about that. Because this book is fast-paced suspense and there are things that happen as consequences of human behavior, you will hate to have any spoilers.
I was a bit worried about writing a review for this book; one that would truly give it justice. I was so blown away, so enthralled, engrossed, and 100% engaged in this book. To the very last page I was invested.
Deadly Consequences had violence, death, and heart-stopping action. I am beyond impressed with the research that so obviously went into the writing process of this book. Well....that is unless Brittney Sahin lives a secret life of a spy. ;) Honestly, I never questioned whether any of the circumstances in the book were fact or fiction. The writing was believable; the author very talented.
I absolutely loved this book! If you are a fan of thrilling romantic suspense, I recommend this book!
*I voluntarily read and reviewed a complimentary copy of this novel. My opinions are honest and unbiased.*
Brittney Sahin has become my favorite author. She can paint a story like no other. I'm a huge fan a romance suspense stories, and Brittney has perfected this genre. I love the story of Alexa and Jake. He's hot and smart, a very sexy combination. He lost his memory at the hands of a terrorist, but the moment he sees Alexa his memory is jarred. He slowly and painfully gets his memory back and his need for Alexa explodes. Alexa is a force to be reckoned with all on her own. It is no secret that I love a strong female heroine in books and she fits the role very well. Their chemistry together makes the pages steamy. This book, like all of Brittney's books, are a must-read, but this is my favorite.
Alexa never lets her guard down. She’s an MI6 agent and therefore needs to keep a lot of secrets. On New Year’s Eve Alexa goes to an event where she meets Jake. After being terribly burned by her former boyfriend Jake is the one who makes her believe in love again. They spend a wonderful week together, but Alexa knows that she can never reveal who she truly is. Walking away from Jake breaks her heart and she doesn't expect to see him again. When Alexa and her team are closing in on the cyber terrorist group they’ve been chasing, it turns out that Jake plays a key role in their operation. Now that all secrets are out in the open, will Jake forgive Alexa for leaving?
After being a victim of an explosion Jake wakes up in the hospital. He can’t remember anything and he has also lost every memory of the past 12 years. He has no recollection of anything he did and has no idea how he became the man everybody says he is. Jake used to know vital information to stop the next terrorist attack, so they’re all pushing him to get his memories back. Being around Alexa helps him to get flashbacks and he slowly begins to remember things that happened throughout the years. Will Jake recover in time to help the government stop the attack?
Alexa and Jake each have been through a lot. Alexa is a spy and struggles with both physical and mental scars that her ex-boyfriend left on her. Jake was once a kind man, but has turned into a cold military agent. He can't remember why he changed, however, he does remember his best friends and brothers in crime. He knows that these men have always been there for him and always will be whenever he calls on them, so he is capable of forming close bonds. Alexa and Jake have a deep connection and they need each other to heal. Love will always find a way and I was hoping for Alexa and Jake to be willing to take a leap of faith just one more time.
Surviving the Fall is a heart-wrenching gripping rollercoaster. Everything about this story feels real. The things that Brittney Sahin writes about could happen one day. This made Surviving the Fall even more addictive for me. Alexa and Jake are diehard agents, who would do anything to save their country from a terrorist attack. They've put their own lives on the line so many times and I loved to read about their personal journey which leads them to each other. Brittney Sahin is a new author for me and I can't wait to read more of her stories. Surviving the Fall is an absolute must-read, it kept me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end.
Jake and Alexa Well now that was an explosive story. Jack needs to remember Alexa is hiding things from him Terrorists are plotting The US and UK need to work together on this one. An awesome thrilling story.
If you like Kaylea Cross, you'll LOVE Deadly Consequences! I’m a fan of anything Brittney Sahin writes, but Deadly Consequences was awesome. This story evokes a solid paced, action filled plot with characters you want to literally reach out and touch...Especially Jake.
This intricate storyline was vivid, and I often found myself holding my breath and biting my lip as the story continued. Sahin does an exceptional job with the chemistry between Jake and Alexa. I can say no more. This is a must read if you love action, intrigue, and romance all rolled into one.
Oh my! I'm in love! in love with this book, with Jake (rawr!), with Alexa....EVERYTHING. Spies, espionage, FBI, British Accents, love, sex, twists and turns...I don't think Brittney missed a single thing. She absolutely kills it! I sincerely believe this is her best yet and She. Keeps. Getting. Better. Every. Time!!!! Jake is smoking hot, vulnerable, tough, fearless, full of emotion, strong-willed, gentle. Alexa is also all of those things in ways only a woman could be. They are two halves of a whole. Their story is amazing, touching and difficult for them, but at the end you get the "ahhhh" and the "yay!!" that everyone deserves and you have the feels all the way through. You must read this book. Read it!!!!!
This is the fourth book in the Hidden Truths series by Brittney Sahin.
I had previously read a book featuring Jake’s sister, Emily in the Stealth Ops series and I wanted to check out Jake’s story. I wasn’t disappointed by this title. It lived up to my expectations.
Jake Summers is an FBI agent who has a suicide vest on and the countdown has about come to an end. He barely gets away when his world explodes. When he wakes the earliest memory is when he was in high school and playing football. He is in the custody of MI6 where one of the agents, Alexa Ryan sees him. They had one week of bliss a year ago but they only knew each other’s first names. She becomes key in helping Jake recover the memories that well help them defeat a terrorist.
I thought this book was excellent. The lack of memory scenes felt like they went on forever. And it took awhile for the two of them to warm up to each other. But the mystery and suspense was spot on.
I was surprised by the scenes involving Jake’s family. I thought that to be a bit unrealistic to put so many people in danger. But it did give his father the opportunity to show him the laptop with all the emails he had saved when he had been deployed in the Marines.
I spent the entire book trying to figure out what the catalyst would be that would bring back his memories. Plus, I started to speculate that one of their own was dirty. This book definitely keeps you guessing right until the end.
Wow! What did I just read? A little bit Jason Bourne combined with Mission Impossible. Considering The Bourne series and James Bond movie franchises both started out as books, can Brittney’s work be far behind?
Surviving the Fall is book 4 in her Hidden Truths series. The story centers around Jake Summers, former Marine now an FBI agent and counterterrorism expert. Alexa Ryan, MI6 agent, computer expert. She has been working on a case involving a new terrorist cell when her superior pulls her to assist on a recent tragedy in London. Jake & Alexa share a past, a brief encounter that left them both wondering if they could have more.
Jake has been hurt, badly, on an OP. He’s suffering amnesia and has no memory of the last 12 years. Alexa is sent to confirm Jake’s story, stunned to see him again and has mixed feelings on everything. MI6 needs to know what the Americans were doing in Europe. The FBI offers very little details, needs to get Jake back on US soil. Jake just wants to remember his life without feeling intense pain and nausea.
Will Jake recover his memories in time to help stop another deadly attack, will Alexa ever find her Mr. New Year’s Eve again? These answers and more await you in this spellbinding journey and the book won’t self destruct after 30 seconds.
Out of all the guys, I think Jake is my favorite. But I did not enjoy his book that much. The romance was weak, but the action was good. I just didn’t really see him in Alexa as a couple. They had history, which he couldn’t remember. But it was sweet that he felt the love he had for her in the past. If that makes any sense. But overall, I just didn’t like their romance. I like them fine together, but it just didn’t really make a lot of sense how they got together. It didn’t really make a lot of sense where the love came from. Maybe it was because they were relying so much on their past relationship and not so much on building a new one. Nevertheless, I’m glad they got to have their HEA and I can’t wait to see them again in upcoming books.
❤️📖 This is the 4th book in the Hidden Truths series 📖❤️
And this story keeps the high level of quality of this series, this time it is time for Jake to find his woman and HEA but what a way to get to it!
I was very impatient and read the whole bonus material for Michael and Kate, so there was my firts shock-Jake died, but fortunatelly it was not true, he did survive an explosion but he lost his memory.
And from this point, as he wakes, he is in conflict, his memories ends at his age 22, the 12 years after he has no idea what happened and it was very interesting to read about his inner fight, when he wanted to remember but as he got some answers and flash memories he started to wish notbto remember. But as he meets Alexa for the first time (actually not first tíme) she helps him to have more memories back until he realise he can't stay in his past and needs to come back to help save many lives.
I loved to watch the development of their complicated relationship, when Alexa is the one who has the trust issues, and fights her wish to have a little more normal life and her duty to protect her country.
And I loved Jake came for her and didn't wait for her to come, I really love this (for some people) old-fashion manners 🤩😍 when man fights for woman.
Again you get all you need in a great book, everytime I read Brittney Sahin's book I get many twists and unexpected moments, the plot is never a simple one, the more you get into rhe story, the more complicated things get and everything is explained and sits perfect with the whole story, the romance side and the action side of the story are equal and mixed perfect together.
All I can say I loved this book, and can't choose a favourite one, whole series is just great.
This sequel follows Jake Summers, an FBI Agent. He is involved in an accident that leaves him with amnesia ... not my favourite trope, but Sahin writes it well, so I found it developed nicely throughout the story. He was captured and tortured, escaped, and as a result of the ensuing explosion, he ended up in a hospital in England. Considering his last known location had been Italy. Clearly, something happened in between, but Jake can't recall.
Enter Alexa Ryan, an undercover MI6 agent. She has been investigating a terrorist organization and it turns out that Jake's accident is somehow involved with them. But also, wouldn't you know, she and Jake met before. The poor guy doesn't remember, but she does and knows that the reason he feels she seems familiar is because of that. It's a messed up situation, but written well and you certainly feel the conflict in her when she basically has to lie to him ... only at first though.
Both characters are easy to connect with and I feel that the general pace of the plot moves along quickly. Between them and Alexa's team, they quickly work their way through the case. The stakes are high and it's a page-turner. My only negative about Alexa was that at times she didn't come across quite as tough as I think she should have been, considering what she did for a living. I do think that kinda comes together at the end with it being clear this might not have been the right career direction for her, but getting her there made her a bit wishy-washy. Still loved her though!
Not quite up there with the 5-star reads I've had from Sahin, but I enjoyed it and am looking forward to reading the final book in the series, Ben Logan's story.
Surviving the fall by Brittney Sahin was the deadliest book so far in the Hidden Truth Series. I was hooked on to the story even before starting the book because of the synopsis. It was so powerful and well-written that it left me anxious to see what really happened to Jake and what role does Alexa play in this whole plot.
We first met Jake Summers in Michael's book, The Safe Bet, where he was portrayed as a charming person who always followed orders. Well, we definitely see a new side to Jake in this book. He was strong yet so vulnerable at times. I am in awe of Jake and his resilience to take down the terrorists after what he went through. Alexa was a genius with computers and her skills saved the team more times than I can count. She was a smart character who faced challenged head-on, whether it was going to operations or working with a person she hates.
The plot and the action sequences left me gasping. From London to Dallas to London to Sicily, the action continued and increased in intensity. The final showdown had me incapable of doing anything but turning the pages. The supporting characters were amazing like all of Brittney Sahin's books. I am really eager to read Ben's story now, although I do wish we have a story for Xander as well. Xander was definitely my favorite supporting character. I would without any doubt give this book 5 out of 5 stars.
HEA Standalone, interconnected characters Hidden Truths Book 4 3rd person PoV, Amnesia

Trigger warning Explosion from suicide vest Torture Terrorists attacks
Jake (FBI, mmc) Alexa (MI6, mfc) Boris Gregov (MI6 target) Trent (FBI) Justin (British SS/MI5) Kemal Bekas (MI6 target) Pierre Reza (MI6 target) Michael Maddox (mmc's friend, vet) Xander (MI6)
Jake starts out involuntarily strapped to a vest set to explode. He ditches the vest and is thrown through a window. He wakes up a week layer with no memory of the last 12 years or so. Alexa is in the middle of an OP when she gets the call about the explosion in London, but she must continue working on taking down the group @ Anarchy. They sent her back to London to try to get info on Jake's condition, but she has a personal history with him. He really does have amnesia, and every member slices pain through him. Can he recover his memories in time? Will she ever tell him the truth? How many people are lying to him?
I knew they would end up together. I just wasn't anticipating the cost. The bonus scene at the end probably would have worked as a prologue, but it's written in 1st person.
During FBI agent Jake Summers’ last assignment, he was captured, tortured, caught in a London explosion and developed amnesia. MI6 agent Alexa Ryan’s life is the job and they need to know what the American knows about the blast, and send her in undercover. Alexa’s stunned to so realize it’s her Jake from a party, a year ago that she can’t forget.
The countries partner to find out more from him about the terrorist plot as Jake struggles through survivor’s guilt and to regain his memories, while Alexa’s emotions are all over the place with Jake plus the drama of her ex being contracted for this mission after a painful betrayal and breakup. Though they have all the pieces they find all isn’t what it seems.
The villain is on the page with enough villainy provided to give him an ominous feel, the layered story kept giving more without becoming muddled and the air of international intrigue is exciting and urgent. But, sorry, this reader didn’t feel as positive about the late solidifying, one-sided romance piece. Rating: 4.5stars
Surviving The Fall is, by far, my favorite of the Hidden Truth series by Brittney Sahin. What's not to like? While there is hard hitting action, it's the suspense that almost steals the show. British and American intelligence teams working together to prevent a terrorist attack....check. An elite hacker group infiltrating government systems...check. A psychopathic killer willing to spill innocent blood to further his agenda...check. A second chance love story between two people who are fated to be together...check!
Jake Summer and Alexa Ryan have a history but here's the rub. He's lost 12 years of memories after being taken hostage. When he sees her he knows there's something there but just can't remember. Now they'll work together to try to stop a terrorist plot that could have global repercussions while rekindling feelings from their earlier encounter.
Surviving the Fall is an action packed thriller. #4 in the Hidden Truths Series .
Jake is an FBI agent in counter terrorism and we met him in the previous books of the series. When we first see Jake he is surviving an explosion. However, As he comes to, he realizes he can't remember why he was in London, that he's an FBI undercover agent, or the last 12 years of his life. Alexa, is a British MI6 operative working on a fairly new terrorist group. She's asked bye her handler to find out what the American knows. When she sees Jake, she realizes he's "Mr. New Years Eve", the same man she had A week fling with the previous year.
What follows is a cat and mouse game of Terrorist versus Agents. Hang on to your seat, because this is a wild ride. I was sucked in right from the beginning, and couldn't stop reading!!! Definitely recommend!!!!
Surviving the Fall is book four of the Hidden Truths series by Brittney Sahin. This book can be read alone but reading the three books prior will add to this book’s background but is not required. This is an entertaining book; it is about Jake Summers a former Marine, and current FBI operative, who was abducted, tortured, blown up, and has amnesia. Alexa Ryan is an MI6 agent who has been burned by a previous boyfriend, is still dreaming about Mr. New Year’s Eve. She wants him but he cannot remember that they have been together before. This is part romance and part suspense, so if pure romance is what you want this might not be it. BUT it is a well-written book, with a great plot. I enjoyed this book and will read then next in the series. There is no cheating, no cliff-hanger, a dual POV, 312 pages, and HEA
She's - tough emotional story with suspense, betrayl, romance , lost vs and hope!
Alexa is a spy in a man's world and she is at a new years eve party to let off steam and he there for a friend. Her career she can't tell anyone what she does and people she is close too is at risk and make her vunerable (they can be used against her). History of horrific loss and betrayl is going to be difficult cavern for her to cross. Sander forced to a New Years party for his sister n brother in law he is bored and ready to bail. He noticed Alexa and tries to catch her. At midnight he steals a kiss and that begins a vacation neither will forget. Sander keeps with Alexas instructions first names and only in the moment. Surviving the Fall. Back to the 3rd person POV. Thank goodness and this book was by far my favorite of the series. You have Jake Summers whom you have met in previous books of the series. You get quite a shock right of the bat and the intensity just keeps going up. Then Alexa Ryan M16 Agent, kickass gal and heart wrenchingly lonely with a giant wall around her heart/feelings. With Jake losing his memories and his struggle with coming to terms with who he finds himself as a person now. Alexa has to overcome her own insecurities about relationships and being vulnerable. Even the secondary characters grab your heartstrings. Their journey to a HEA is a GREAT one. A non stop can’t put down read!
I’ve loved Jake in the previous books and really enjoyed his story. Jake is head of the FBI in Dallas Tx and specializes in counter “t” word. (I don’t want to get a slap on the wrist fron the Zon.) Alexia is a computer specialist hunting the “t’s” too. Jake is captured by the “t’s” and hurt really badly (nope can’t say that “t” word either) escapes but is hurt by an explosion and a 15 to 20 foot fall causing amnesia. Lives are at risk as all the alphabet agencies and MI6 work together trying to catch the leader of the bad guys. The outcome depends on Jake recovering his memories. I loved watching these two. There was a peace they brought to each other unless they were F you have any of the Alexa products and listen to the audiobook I’d advise you to turn off your devices lol. This series just gets better and better!
I just finished reading Surviving The Fall by Brittney Sahin and I have to say that she's become one of my favorite authors. She has this amazing ability to paint a story like no other. I absolutely loved this book and the story of Alexa and Jake. Like the other books in The Hidden Truths Series, Jake is a hot, smart and strong alpha male, were Alexa is in a league of her own. If you've read my other reviews then you know it's no secret that I love a strong female character. The chemistry between Alexa and Jake is so sexy and steamy! This book, like all of Brittney Sahin books, are a must-read and I highly recommend you go READ THEM NOW!!!
I love this series and this installment really took things to the next level. It is a second chance love story but so much more! Jake and Alexa are fantastic! They have a great dynamic and their chemistry is off the charts. I really loved the intrigue angle of this story, and it felt like we were learning things about with Jake while he struggled to get his memories back. There were some fun twists and turns, and I loved the bonus scenes at the end about their first meeting! This series has been an excellent KY find and I am off to binge-read more from this author. So looking forward to Ben's book!
Jake wakes up battered and from an explosion with amnesia. Everything he can remember is from years ago.. no friends, family or life. He is in shock when he finds out he is FBI though and currently in an undisclosed English hospital.
Alexa is a cyber expert in MI6, British secret service and on the hunt for a terrorist group. She is assigned to be a nurse to Jake but imagine her shock when she realises he was the handsome stranger she met a year ago.
Eventually they have to work together to build his memories back and the trust to complete the operation. Not everything goes according to plan though.
Well this should have been a page turner of a book as it has the trifecta - romance, mystery, and action. However I found it a bit boring. For one there wasn't enough description and time spent on the romance part. It might have helped if the book started with when they met instead of ending with it. Again even that was way too brief and glossed over. It's like the author doesn't know how embellish a story or work on character development. The action part seemed like a bunch of boring detail and too much of it. There needs to be a better balance between both parts of the book.
Jake Summers wakes up in a hospital and is missing 12 years of his life. Unfortunately he has Intel that can stop a terrorist attack locked in his memories. Alexa Ryan never thinks she will seek Jake again then she is assigned to go undercover as a nurse to get details from an American...who turns out to be the man she kissed (and more) on New Year's Eve. Fate brings them together and together they must thwart the planned attack and save innocent people. This one is a race to the finish with enough action for a blockbuster movie and enough romance to leave the hardest of hearts swooning.
Wonderful Sensational sexy Romans Love Story and FBI and MI6 Action!!!!
The sensual and sexual love fuel between Jake and Alexis is so chemical charge it can't get any better. Jake is goes though so many twist and turns on FBI Assignment to losing his memory and Alexia is the key to helpjng (plus her Mi6 counterparts) because for some reason there is a connection Jake is trying to figure out but he has amnesia. And, Alexia is MI6, what a muster behind mysterious event. I'm in which Jake's military brother Ben must step in to help, BIG TIME. But the dynamics between Jake and Alexa is romantically breathtaking.
Jake Summers goes to London to visit his sister, he goes to the wedding and he meets Alexa Ryan. They kiss the New Year they spend a week together because they have a connection. They only tell each other their first name and have sex all week. She leaves then a man in the hospital and she goes to see him. She realized that's Jake the guy she spent a week with. She finds out he is operative for FBI and has lost his memory . He finds out she is a M16 agent and that he spent a week with her. They start to work together to prevent the terrorist attack with his memory coming back a little at a time
