If you want to know what type of lover you are consider reading this book. Wendy Brown explains there are Six different types of Red-Hot lovers. The different lovers or passions, are the lovesick lover, the prince/princess, the lover’s fool, the white knight, the black knight, and the drama king/queen.
Brown identifies the characteristics of the different types of lovers in multiple ways. She conducts an interview with, Ron, a man in his 30s, who answers pointed questions about his love life and how he has, at times, fallen into different Red-Hot lover categories. Brown also uses romantic couples throughout history as another tool to identify different types of red-hot lovers. If the interview and historical references aren’t enough, there is also a quiz to help you determine which of the six categories you fall into.
The book is an interesting read. It can explain why you behave the way you do in relationships and what type of lover you are. I found that most people can fall into multiple categories based on their lover or partner.

Interesting concept
The Six Passions of the Red-Hot Lover: was an interesting read. It listed famous people that we would think of as a Red-Hot Lover and what their characteristics are. It seems that they all have a passion that burns hot and bright, but that passion can eventually burn out. They thrive on passion, sex, love, drama, and chaos.
In this book you will find interviews that may answer questions that you may have. There are also tests on the 6 passions, so that you can see if you fall under any of these types of loves. As well as 6 scripts that break down the Lovesick Lover, Prince/Princess, Lover's Fool, White Knight, Black Knight, Drama King/Queen, and a Generic Red-Hot Lover.
If you have ever wondered if you were ready to live and die for love, or what kind of love you may be, this could be the book for you. Reading it and taking the test will give you a better insight into yourself and others. A copy of this book was given to me in exchange for an honest review.
