Whoever recommended this series - thank you from the bottom of my heart. It's The Dominant Doctor Series by S.D. Adams. I am amazed that we don't see this recommended more often. I love everything about it. I want my books to focus on the relationship between MCs, their growth individually and as a couple, and the requisite angst. The book starts out a bit unsteady, but after a few chapters it's right on target. It's about the journey of a BDSM newbie with an experienced dom. The extra special bit I love, is a heavy dose of mental heath issues that come out of left field. The heat is off the charts, filthy filthy talk, and lots of it. The plot is excellent and it's a great balance. I'm now starting the third volume, I think there are about 7 so I'm in it for the long haul. I'll also add that this really takes you into the nitty gritty of the BDSM lifestyle which has been illuminating for me. You get much more than the kink. You get the reasoning and intention behind it. What a find. This author deserves some serious attention.The editing needs work, but if you can overlook it, you are in for a real treat. Also be aware that, for some reason, there are different versions. Be sure to get the ones with the striped cover. Characters throughout should be Scott and Mitch. Enjoy!

Ok...I can understand somethings

But autism is hard to deal with. A BDSM relationship combined with being a Dom has to be harder with trying to deal with the control...

Re-reading seems to be my reading plan for this year. As much as I love these books, I'm glad to have them to re-read. I can completely lose myself in the world, something I have not been finding easy to do lately.

I'm in love with these characters and their story. They are both nuanced and believable. The writing, while still in need of a good editor, is very good and completely enjoyable. I loved getting to see Sir's parents and I hope there will be more in future books. I would also love to see more of Ollie and Kevin. While there is a lot of sex in the books it does lead to more about their characters and their story so it seldom feels overdone.
I got these through KU, but I may end up buying them because I can see myself wanting to revisit them.

I bought these for so many reasons, but mainly because I really do love them, even with their weaknesses.

I hate it when no one has left a review of a book. This series is fascinating. Getting inside Scott’s mind is quite an experience. Sammy Adams must know something about autism, and to create a Dom with Aspergers is quite a feat.

Mitch is slowly accepting the fact that he is a submissive and that it’s not something to be ashamed of. The pushing away and coming back together of Scott and Mitch never got tiring for me.
