This is a general story by Babe's adopted daughter and mostly about his stats. I was hoping for more personal info and family life but that was not included here. The pictures are great as are the memorabilia. But having read a number of books on the Babe, I was looking to really learn more about Julia and her intimate relationship with Babe. It's a quick read.

This book was written by Ruth’s daughter, adopted daughter yet you can feel the the love she had and still does for her father and for the memories of the time she had with him. This is a wonderful book for what it is and for the most part, it is a quick easy read, with wonderful pictures and memories of a time forgotten. I found this to be a good book. I received this book from NetGalley.com

This was a wonderful introduction to Babe Ruth. I was very interested in the man and his contribution to the sport. Baseball is usually my husbands area but I think I may be hooked.
