When a covert mission goes horribly wrong, a crew of thieves find themselves caught in the middle of a vicious, interstellar holy war. In this issue, a demon makes a demand, and Cassandra makes an unexpected acquaintance.
Okay, so I've now read Issues 1-3 and...to be honest...the plot isn't really going anywhere, there are a lot of intricate storylines, and I'm not yet hooked on reading more. I loved Charlie, but it's been 2 issues since Charlie's boyfriend was mentioned, and there's been no hint or appearance of him since. The plot is slow, and offers too many questions without answering any of them. I'm going to keep reading, because they're cheap to buy and I want to find out if Charlie's boyfriend appears again, but that's really the only part I care about, at this point. There's just too much going on, leading nowhere.
Also, the plot says - when a covert mission goes horribly wrong - except that's really not what's happening. They went into this as rebels/revolutionaries against the government.
This series has quickly become one of my most looked-forward-to comics. Consider me hooked!! This one had so much new stuff and I was on the edge of my seat the whole time.
