Magnus Pellatus
Doctor Jane Langley meets Magnus Pellatus. He is handsome, caring but arrogant and willing to help and protect Jane. Though he knows everything about Doctor Langley, she knows nothing about him. After an investigation, it is discovered he has no trace and is literally a ghost. He offers to be a part of her Somalia expedition to protect her and her colleagues. Jane wonders why Magnus is so interested in the Somalia expedition.
During the Somalia expedition, Jane begins to wonder if what she has learned is true or not. What she hadn’t expected is that the expedition would lead to a fight for the existence of the planet we live on. What was supposed to be an archaeological expedition suddenly becomes much more than this. It was bad enough already, knowing they were going to a country that was at war, when danger made its presence known. Throughout the troubles during the expedition, will Magnus protect her? Where is he from and why is he here? From what she has seen, she wonders if he is a ghost or if he is from another world. Doctor Langley also wonders if he’s even a human being. This causes her to doubt her sanity.
What happens when the two meet? Is it love at first sight or is it hate?

This is series collection of Ruby Snow Blue Kioria Barbarians series in a box set, with the third book, Alien Secret, just released. The characters are well written and we see them with strong conflict and protection. We meet the Kioria warriors that are trying to save Earth and with the help of some strong will Doctors. We meet these women that are very wonderful in their fields. They have to get there protectors are there toes. Highly Recommend this book set and cant wait for the next book

Short on details
This is a collection of short novellas. If you like a lot of plot this isn't the collection for you. This stories were detail oriented but there was just not enough of the relationship building to it for me. I like the way the author built her worlds and described the planets I just wish she had taken such pains to build her characters unfortunately they feel almost like an afterthought and no one got to know one enough and their background before they were in love. It took !me a long while to make it through the book. I would try other books by her in hopes they would be more complete.

Blue Kioria Barbarians
This set had some really good stories and some that was just so so. I would not have purchased it as a set but as individual books. I didn't care for the kind of stale rhetoric that they seemed to have, like I've read the book before but knew thAt I hadn't.

The story started out In Egypt, as Dr Jane Langley confirmed a dangerous sandstorm was imminent and everyone ran to the entrance of the tomb for cover. The Australia team, who was travelling to meet up with them, was apparently caught out in the sandstorm. After the storm was over, Jane, Elizabeth, and Dr Aziz drove out to look for them.
This was a different kind of alien story than most since it took place on Earth, bringing us into the middle of an archeological dig. The heroine was a woman archeologist, Dr Jane Langley, well respected in her field and always welcomed by the Egyptian government due to her professionalism and status. She found an anomaly in one of the artifacts, a strange metal that could not be identified.
When Jane returned to London, she met Magnus Pellatus at the home of the Director of the Egyptology Department, Dr Cross. She was planning to discuss funding her Somali expedition. This was her first active encounter with aliens – in more ways than one! The description of what is going on is scary and the scene is developed very well to keep the reader fully involved.
As others have mentioned, there was not an overwhelming amount of romance, but the story was interesting to read, especially when Jane and Magnus work together for their very survival and their relationship continues to develop.
I recommend this book. I liked the different approach to aliens that it took. The alien attacks were full of suspense and kept the reader turning the pages to find out what was going to happen next! And getting all three stories in one box set is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the author’s books.

Ms. Snow writes Aliens as super hunky arrogant shapeshifting blue men who steal your heart with their desire.. and save Earth! And apparently this is not the first time either. As a archeologist Jayne is determined to find proof of extraterrestrials influence during the time Pharaohs ruled Egypt. Finding this proof is dangerous and Jayne and her team find themselves pitted against mysterious men who will do anything to block her research. Jayne is a scrappy, somewhat pushy doctor of archeology willing to travel to all ends of the Earth in her search and Magnus a suspect Australian archeologist willing to fund her work for control of what they discover. This story is full of excitement with the discovery of artifacts as well as love and romance. Thoroughly enjoyed Ms. Snow's re-invention of the search for tombs and "Tuts" in Somalia rather than Egypt and the road to love, fame and fortune that thrilled my heart. I voluntarily read and reviewed this unique "Alien" ARC.

The story starts off slow and did not really connect me to the characters. I felt distanced from the story. It picks up when the danger starts. Jane and Magnus have a connection that grows as they work together. It has an interesting storyline.

great mix of sci fi, adventure and action. All of the books in this amazing box set are
fantastic. You really can't go wrong, reading these awesome books. Highly recommend.

I enjoyed reading this book, it has a great storyline. Can't wait to read more from this author. I received a FREE ARC copy to read volunteerly for an honest review.
