Angelina Jones found herself on the streets after she aged out of the foster care system. Starving and nearing the end of her rope, her life changed the day she met two members from the Heaven’s Sinners MC, Dex and Laser. She eventually became an old lady and settled into her new life. But six years later, tragedy struck and she found herself alone and pregnant. Zeke Morgan is the President of Heaven’s Sinners MC North Georgia chapter. A single dad to a teenage boy, he allows Angelina to relocate from the South Georgia chapter to his as he is in desperate need of a new accountant. New friendships are made and one man shows one woman what love really means when he becomes her kinsman-redeemer.
Lover of words. Author of "perfectly imperfect romance". Since starting this journey in August 2016, I've published eight books, two children's books, and have been part of two different coloring books. In short, I'm fulfilling a lifelong dream and would love to have you join me!
Angelina Jones thought she had found her savior and even though she was his old lady, he was not the man she thought he was. When he passes she finds herself pregnant with twins and does the best she can do to raise her daughters. When she is offered a job in with the Heaven's Sinners MC North Georgia chapter she goes ready to have a fresh start. She doesn't expect Zeke Morgan though the President of this chapter and he knows instantly he wants to be part of her life. Biding his time he gets to know Angelina and her daughters while showing her how a real man treats his woman.
This was not what I expected, it has a few moments where the story is a bit preachy but overall a solid story. I didn't not realize this was a christian romance book but glad I picked it up. I liked Zeke and thought Angelina was an inspiring character. Great story, need to check out the rest in the series.
This is the first book I have read of Darlene's. Loved it. Ready to read more. The story started with Angelina living with the southern Heaven's Sinners MC. Angelina woke up in bed being cold. She couldn't understand because she was lying next to Laser. That was the morning she lost him. The club helped her get through this stage in her life. Angelina finds herself pregnant. When Angelina graduates from college, Angelina wanted to relocate. Dex, the president contacts the Heaven's Sinners MC in the Northern part of the state. There Angelina moves into the house the club fixed up for her and her twin girls. Angelina's adventure begins. You need to read this book to find out what happens with Angelina.
I love Darlene Tallman's stories. They are such a nice change of pace from the over-emotional my normal authors have been putting out lately. They are just straight up feel good reads that leave you wanting more from this author. This story has a few good twists and despite the the seriousness of some of the scenes there is such an over all positive feel to the story. Darlene has done well writing this longer length novel. Again she has managed to write a nice Christian story without it being preachy. To anyone who is considering reading this - I highly recommend it. It is Darlene Tallman's best work to date.
I've been a fan of Darlene Tallman since i read her first book, she has an unique writing style which is both refreshing and very entertaining. This book ticks all the boxes for me, it has a touch of heartbreak, along with a strong sense of family, brotherhood and just plain old love. These charactersi I feel will be with us for a while, I can only hope she writes more books In this series some time in the future. Even tho it's a Christian romance it's not heavy and preachy, just reminding us with how the characters behave. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this book or this author to other people, in fact I highly suggest you try her books.
This was such an unexpected MC read. It was way different from any MC read I have ever read. Pleasantly surprised for sure. Not all MC books have to be about drugs, kidnapping, and the f bomb thrown out every few words. I mean an MC based around church who knew......at first I was thinking man this book is vanilla but man as I wrong in that assessment seriously WRONG lol!! Darlene definitely wrote an amazing book in this one. The characters were just so relatable, and again humbling. So glad I stuck with the book. This is a book with a message for sure. Thanks Jamie Nibarger Ellis
"Her Kinsman-Redeemer" (Heaven's Sinners MC) by Darlene Tallman is a great read. I enjoyed reading about Angelina, Zeke, and their family. This book has new beginnings, romance, passion, family, close friends, MC life, happy endings, religion, and more. I hope we will be hearing more from these characters in the future. This is my favorite story from this author so far. Looking forward to reading more! Recommend to all fans of MC, romance, and happy endings.
I quite enjoyed the feel good love story. It certainly was unlike any other MC book I have read. The heavy religious content with Biker lifestyle didnt always quite fit for me. But the enjoyable characters and love story made me overcome the preachy content complete with guilt ridden old ladies due to being pregnant outside of wedlock and younger bikers saving themselves for marriage with girlfriends of 10 years etc. As I said, hard to imagine in MC culture.
This was such an amazing read. Sometimes readers get tired of reading the same story with different books that it takes a read like Her Kinsman-Redeemer to cleanse the heart, mind and soul. I will definitely be reading more of Darlene Tillman's work!
this is so not what you expect of an MC novel and nothing that i would have expected to have enjoyed so heartily. it is very much a feel good love story with a heavy religious content and although that is just not me i loved it. family and community values are strong and the story was beautiful .. well worth the read
A definite 5* read. Zeke & Lina are both widowers & single parents. Due to fate & God, they fall in love. An emotional read, be sure to have tissues on hand
This was a wonderful read! A Christian oriented MC... Wow! Not preachy at all. Very loving relationship with respect. Fabulous. I will be looking at other books by this author.
If you like your MC romances on the lighter side, Her Kinsman-Redeemer is the book for you. This MC group has a more spiritual focus, wanting to help others and do as much for the community as possible. Angelina woke up one morning to find her old man had died in his sleep, lying right next to her. Shortly thereafter, she finds out she is pregnant. Luckily the club rallies around her to make sure she can finish school and have the support she needs. Several years pass and she is ready for a new start. When the northern chapter of the club needs an accountant, it is seems that a higher power is leading her to her new home. When Zeke meets his new employee, the attraction he feels is instantaneous and the more he knows, the stronger his feelings grow. This was a beautiful romance, two people finding their true soulmate. Ms Tallman did a wonderful job, sucking me into this story and keeping me enthralled until I finished the entire thing. I didn't really understand the story behind the title as I haven't read the Bible. It wasn't explained but I got the gist of it and it didn't detract from my enjoyment at all. 5 stars for Zeke and Angelina!
I love love love Zeke & his Cherub! This story is so unique - a Christian MC?! YES!!! It's still steamy (after the slow burn, which I loved!) & yes, sometimes Christians swear. But I felt the love and heart throughout the whole story. These characters pray and seek God's guidance for their relationships, as well as being open about praying His will for their friends & family, and doing everything with the intention of making life better for ppl.
I fell in love w/ this story on each & every page. Zeke is 100% MC President, Alpha swoon. The care he takes with Angelina & her girls, the care she has for his son, and the family they create together - it all adds up to an uplifting, heartwarming story & is going on my favorites & re-read shelves!
Enjoyable though sad to start with and I really liked the ethos of the story, which earned it an extra star, but way much too much religion for my taste. I’ve never read an MC book that had quite so much saccharine sweetness and religion. It just felt wrong being based around a supposed MC club/group. Though I sort of finished it, I kept putting it down when the OTT religious stuff annoyed me. Skimmed through to end and it was still too much, and truly too unbelievable that Thad had waited TEN years. Thought I was reading an MC book but ended up with a very Christian based story. Too unbelievable trying to mix these two separate, to me, genres. To each their own but I don’t need it shoved down my throat like this. Stopped at chapter 5 then jumped to end. Read through KU so no hassles but won’t be reading this author again.
Angel has had a tough life, living on the streets after she aged out of foster care she has now been taken in by the Heavens Sinners. Now 6 years later she finds herself pregnant with twins and alone. The President of the North chapter of Heavens Sinners finds his MC in trouble. Not with the law, but with bookkeeping problems. There accountant has managed to embezzle funds from all of their businesses and hid the money. Angel now is starting over to help MC find the money and learn how to live again for herself and her twins. This is a wonderful story of love, healing and faith. Love can happen where you least expect it. Great read!
This book will take you on a emotional ride. I cried and laughed then sighed and held my breath. It's not your typical MC, it's Christian. I don't usually read this kind but I took and chance and enjoyed it. Although it is really more about their relationship than the MC. When your life spirals out of control and you lose the only family you have what would you do? There is a question I have that was never answered but I don't want to spoil anything. It's really not an important detail just something I'm curious about.
If your looking for an out law 1percenter mc this book is not for you. That being said I love this book I was kind of iffy because it's a Christian book about a mc but this author definitely got me hooked. It's like a reverse look at mc if they were 100 percent legit. Although a Christian book the author does not preach throughout the book there are references but doesn't make you feel bored like a 5 year old sitting in church on a sunday. It's a book of second chances overcoming heartache insta love and so much more. This author is definitely on my radar. Ty for a excellent read.
I have never read an alpha male Christian motorcycle club (MC) romance before. The only thing missing was some suspense/action. So if that's a problem for some of you readers skip this book. I almost did. But I was too curious about the Christianity and MC mix. Very well done. I still missed the action but it in no way takes anything away from this story. And I loved how the author shows how faith can be a natural part of our everyday lives. Not something forced. And there was so much love portrayed as well. Great job! Highly recommended.
3.5 stars This is my first read by Darlene and I liked it, but I didn't love it. If you're looking for a gritty MC story - this is not going to be it. I would call this MC lite. I liked the characters but for me, the story dragged a bit and I had no idea religion would play so much a part of the story. It is a good story though and I loved watching these characters fall in love.
I enjoyed this book, it took me to the end of chapter one to get into it but once I did I couldn't put it down. Twists, turns and surprises await you within the pages of this book, I laughed, I got frustrated and I cried, but I could feel the emotions from the characters within the book, which made it more special.
This was a good read. More love story than mc. I do like my mc books on the dark side but need a break once in a while. I love Darlene's books the only thing I can be say about this book was too much on the religious side and it never mention how her first husband died only in his sleep. But other wise a good read. Loved Zeke
ONOne of a KIND GEM 💎 MUST READ ... Stunningly Beautiful
Dear Readers
I’m not going to say anything but it’s so DELIGHTFUL.... just READ IT .. you’ll see. An MC BOOK full of love & god .. if you ever wondered if it could be done .. and still be full of strength & SWOON WORTHY GUYS .. yes .. yes .. yes.
This is not your typical mc book. Zeke is president of an mc club . The club members love God and go to " real " church. Angelina ole man died and left her pregnant with twins. After completing college Angelina transfers to from the southern chapter to Zekes club to take over the accounting. Absolutely loved this book.
I loved this book because it was filled with loving and kind people. They all went out of their way to help others. There was still romance and chemistry but that wasn't everything. I always look forward to reading this author's work and sill continue to do so.
This book drew me in from the beginning and I coulsnt put it down. It isnt a roller coaster ride but it pulls at your heart as you watch these two people grow. That is what won me over. It felt real.
This book was over-the-top sweet. I can't think of anything else I'd want in my perfect man. I like that it's not instant love and they have to work become a couple. I love a happy ending plus a little more.
