Ummmmm did not realize that "devotional" had to be religious based.. Thought was just a daily learning diary on the job and what the author learned and adapted too... Uhh no allllll religious, 100%religious,overly religious. Not. For. Me.

Although this is a daily devotional, I couldn’t help but binge nearly the entire thing in one sitting. I needed this tonight. So relatable and powerful. I will be recommending to all my fellow LEOWs. 💙

I couldn’t put this down...read it all and will now go back and read it as intended, as a devotional. Allison has a gift of putting into words what many wives on duty feel. And just like her first book...this book is a must for any LEOW.

If only it had more prayers for what to do when you’re the victim of domestic violence because your cop husband beats you. That would be very helpful.
