He has also collaborated with Image Comics co-founder Todd McFarlane on the series Haunt. He is one of the five partners of Image Comics, and the only one of the five who was not one of the original co-founders of that publisher.
Robert Kirkman's first comic books were self-published under his own Funk-o-Tron label. Along with childhood friend Tony Moore, Kirkman created Battle Pope which was published in late 2001. Battle Pope ran for over 2 years along with other Funk-o-Tron published books such as InkPunks and Double Take.
In July of 2002, Robert's first work for another company began, with a 4-part SuperPatriot series for Image, along with Battle Pope backup story artist Cory Walker. Robert's creator-owned projects followed shortly thereafter, including Tech Jacket, Invincible and Walking Dead.

Brutal.
A really well-done conflict issue. Father vs. Son, Omni-Man vs. Invincible, Conqueror vs. Protector. I also like that the destruction to the city/deaths of people are referenced and not just background fodder.

Wow just wow and you would hate that I keep on bringing the adaptation again and again but I have to say that the adaptation brought the story so far to a greater way and developed it very well. The destruction in animation was heartbreaking and it's the same here as well but now the story would be new and whatnot? what else can we find out?
I have always loved comics, and I hope that I will always love them. Even though I grew up reading local Indian comics like Raj Comics or Diamond Comics or even Manoj Comics, now's the time to catch up on the international and classic comics and Graphic novels. I am on my quest to read as many comics as I can. I Love comics to the bits, may the comics never leave my side. I loved reading this and love reading more, you should also read what you love and then just Keep on Reading.

What an absolutely phenomenal conclusion. This second arc has been amazing and has built this universe and it’s atmosphere brilliantly. The cast is pretty great, and Omni Man was an incredible villain so far. I can’t wait to read more.

“Issue #12” starts with Invincible getting punched by Omni-Man.

They keep fighting while Omni-Man tells Invincible the people on this planet are meaningless. Invincible disagrees. Invincible is losing. Badly.

Okay, that was one big bloody ‘what if Kryptonians really fought?’ Slugfest. Very bloody, but no permanent harm done. You know, like with Doomsday!
And in truth it did seem like a weird about face with Omni-Man. But they made their point about what this comic is about. Daddy issues. I’ll give it a 3 stars though I’m glad I didn’t pay $4 an issue for it!

truly great: one of the greatest comics i’ve ever read. The first battle between Omni-Man and Invincible. The final page of Nolan crying as he flies into space is amazing.
