Saviour is the best book I have read in a long time, Andie M. Long writes the best comedy I have ever read, and I loved this more than her comedy writing. I can’t recommend this book highly enough. It deals with some difficult subjects but it deals with them in a real and compassionate way. Its suitable for over 18’s only due to some of the content.
Eden Stark is a woman after my own heart, she knows what she wants and she goes for it. Sex is just a way to get the release that she needs, Eden has never had people who care for her, she was brought up in foster care, and got unlucky in that the family she had didn’t care beyond the check.
When she gets word from a friend of a friend of a job as a house PA with added benefits she jumps at the chance, she loves those extra benefits after all, little does she know not all is what is seems. When she goes missing along with her employers, have they taken her on an extended holiday? or is something more sinister going on?
Xavier Harrington was the last person to see Eden alive apart from her employers, well that’s what he explains to the police when he goes with her best friend to report her missing officially. He has a checked past himself, so some people wonder if he is trying to help find and save Eden as they once have a one night stand, or is it something darker? Is he trying to save her after he couldn’t save someone else in his life?
Despite the difficulties the characters in this book face, you can’t help but get involved and relate to them each in some small way, I related to Eden easy enough in the beginning, we both enjoyed our youth, but I also related to Xavier in that I have marks on my body and they all tell a story like his, some sad, some happy. The difficulties they face and how the over-come them are so well written that you can’t help but know this author did their research and I for one can’t wait to applaud her on a job well done.
