Love never dies

Kiyah and Daniel realized that they had a second chase at love even after 10 years, a divorce and death of a spouse. Both of them never forgot about the other. Things came to a head when they ran into each other after ten years and those old feelings came rushing back with a vengeance. To make matters more complicated, Kiyah was not sure she wanted to move on after being a widow for 3 years, but those feelings were like her late husband Lewis was giving her the okay to move on because she kept running into Daniel and his daughter Allie after she moved back to her home town.

Daniel was desperate to find his ex wife Mandy so that he could finally finalize his divorce now that Kiyah was back in his life. He was not going to let her go ever again, especially after their daughters had bonded.

Shanade wrote a sweet romance about finding love the second time around and all the drama dealing with being a widow trying to move on and an man who desperately wanting to reclaim the woman he fell in love with years ago and getting rid of the gold-digging shrew he should have never married. What made this story so sweet was that the daughters and the mothers of Daniel and Kiyah were pulling so hard for them to get their act together.

Okay, well uhhhh...😐

Wow...I had to take time to gather my thoughts. Well..what little I have regarding this tale. The premise is good..a second chance from a puppy love to a mature adult love. But the story just plods along at an achingly slow pace. Way too much inner dialogue especially with Kiya and I fought through the boredom to read it in one sitting just to get it over with. Oh well..Next! 😒

I enjoyed reading this story. Kiya is weary just trying to make a home for her daughter and deserves another chance to be loved. Daniel was very determined to have another chance with her. The love quickly rekindles as they get to know one another again and handle the drama that creeps in.

Second chance

First love is hard to forget. The main characters had one summer together before they had to separate head to college. They come back to where it all started with kids who become the best of friends. Then things really start to heat up.

I don't understand how the word "thought" kept having the ending"t" left off in almost every time the world was used. This was a nice read.
