What happens in Vegas… Becky never expected to run into Mr. Right at Disney Land, which was a good thing since she ended up meeting Mr. Tall, Dark, and Obnoxious instead. Nope, just nope! Hero has sex with many OW after he met heroine, the excuse for it? "she is too nice" "deserves a better man" blah blah.. The next min, he chooses he wants her? They are in love not even 5 mins later. Okayy..
During separation he says he wanted to have sex with OW bc he was angry(he doesn't, but no brownie points bc he thought of it).
Also, dude, I don't blame the heroine from running, all you did during the first few weeks of meeting and knowing her was manwhoring around, and what, someone is suppose to believe you'll change your stripes in a few weeks/months? Nah.
I thought Hazel Gower books were safe of OW, regardless of it being mild or heavy, guess I was wrong. Will probably have to take her off my 1-Click.

Today is not my day when it comes to books.
The heroine was easily TSTL. I mean who goes to another country and befriends 3 beefy men and travels around with them? And that someone being a teacher?!
The hero was a dbag. He slept around after meeting the heroine and his ego pissed me off.
Also I didn't trust him post marriage.
Not safe and didn't like this one.

Her big bad mistake was a great short story. Becky is a kind-hearted girl so of course, she is happy to be at Disneyland, then runs into a couple of guys who happened to be professional ice hockey. Along the way, they meet up and just have a great time together only she is starting to have feelings for a Damon who is a wild card. Damon doesn't want to like her but he does and wants her bad only he doesn't want his teammates to know because he knows he isn't good enough for her. Spending time in vegas she grows to love him and one-night together has her scared the nest day but some great things happened that night. Now Damon will be damned if he lets her go.

I really enjoyed this story and I loved Damon & Becky and some of the other characters that we met in this book. There were a few parts that could have had more detail and it could have been longer but I still really enjoyed it!

I really like this book Damon had some issues but deep down he's a really good guy.I highly recommend this book

Wow Damon was one messed up guy and he really can do some douche bag things but in the end I'm happy he and Becky got their HEA. I hope Jacob and Calab both get their own HEA.

Damon.....SMH! What a a$$hole. I didn't like him and his Manwhore ways and I thought Becky was Annoying and immature( Disney Princess's?). I'll give it 2 - 2.5 stars.

Despite the manwhoring hero, I actually liked him more than the TSTL heroine!
Jacob had only told the guys he's interested in Becky, but never acted on it with her. Damon liked and was attracted to Becky too but felt he's not good enough for her and Jacob had first dibs... So he went around sleeping with women who were the total opposite of Becky - skinny blondes! Everyone knew, even Becky, because he'd bring along some of these women on their group dates and the press/tabloids followed Damon and his teammates closely!
SPOILERS!!!
So this grossed me out the manwhoring. But the tomcatting stopped right after Damon told Becky he wanted her in New Orléans, and she returned his feelings! They were almost going to sleep together but was interrupted when Caleb and Jacob showed up and both pretended nothing was going on...
Becky acted a typical New Adult heroine: she's horny and looking to get laid! Finally in Las Vegas she really didn't care who she picked up, and Damon couldn't resist her anymore and his desperation as Becky's departure became so bad he decided to marry her in one infamous LV wedding chapel! While she was drunk! But hey she wasn't so drunk she didn't know she was married. She was happy to make love with her new husband!
The TSTL part came the morning after. She was initially angry Damon had left her alone in his hotel room after he got the sex he wanted from her, then sghe saw her huge diamond ring and remembered she married him! She was also horrified she had had unprotected sex with a manwhore! And insecurities set in, she's afraid he'd tell her it's all a mistake, so she'd rather run away first!
The moment she left LV she regretted leaving without a word...
What happened next three months was more TSTLness...she saw in the tabloids Damon had continued to date bimbos and despite knowing she's preggy she didn't tell him. Her main reason was he had said before he didn't think he was father material so he didn't want kids...She kept calling but hanging up on him, until he had his number changed! Why couldn't they have asked Caleb or Jacob for each other's number I'd never understand.
But actually Damon had remained faithful since New Orléans. Those bimbos were pushed on Damon as dates for public appearances. He had not told anyone he'd married Becky!
When the sh!t finally hit the fan, Jacob had a great big fight with Damon and I'm sad their friendship was lost. I cannot entirely blame Damon to be honest...even had Jacob expressed his interest in Becky, all she saw then was Damon. She saw Caleb and Jacob as brothers and even told them outright after Jacob found out they'd gotten married in LV.
Contrary to many reviewers, I do accept Damon had changed for the better. Both admitted their mistakes, apologised and forgiven each other. Damon asked so beautifully for a second chance to be the husband and father Becky wanted! Sweet epilogue.

THIS AUTHOR IS ONE OF MY FAVE! She writes the Silverman’s story so i lover her so much for that!
But this one....
THERE’S SO MANY ANNOYING STUFF GOING ON THAT MAKES ME WANT TO PUNCH THE HERO!
WHY.......
WHY.....
The hero is very possessive protective alpha male but not man enough to grab her fast and make her his as fast as i want them to be! Such a coward!
The heroine is very sweet and loving and kind.... nothing wrong with the heroine but i wish she could go with the other guy in this book instead tho.
NO CHEATING but the hero is having sex with other people when they weren’t dating but the heroine can see that the hero really do grab other woman in front of her when he knows he wants her! DISGUSTING.

Wow! Another winner!
Becky's trip from Oz to Disney World was supposed to be her trip of a lifetime. Alone and free to do whatever she wants, even she didn't expect to make three new friends to spend her holiday. Three male friends, that is. It truly started as a friendship that so slowly emerged into something more.
One of the three was drawing her to his side. Damon made her feel connections she never knew existed.
It fell together until it barreled over the cliff to the rocks below. Now she needed an escape plan to save herself. Little did she know there was no escape.
Great book! I love Hazel's style and look forward to more.

I really enjoyed this quick read. I really liked Becky and Damon grew on me slowly. I liked the slow build up and the slightly slow reunion. The ending was perfect, other than a few spelling mistakes I didn’t find any faults with this story.
Whilst on vacation at Disney Land, Becky meets three hockey players. Damon, Caleb and Jacob, although Damon is rude and doesn’t want Becky around, he is attracted to her. As the men follow Becky on her vacation around America, it isn’t long before the pair are struggling to fight their attraction. On the last night of Becky’s vacation, she gives in to her feelings and marries Damon whilst she is drunk. After a hot night of passion, Becky wakes to realise what happened the night before, with Damon nowhere to be found, Becky runs. But what will happen when the pair are back in Chicago? Will Becky and Damon stick to their vows and fight for each other.. Or will they give up and call it quits?

I lied this book. The characters in this book are very good. As well as the others too. I truly loved Becky. She was sassy and independent and I loved how she tells people off when her temper gets riled. The male lead a bad boy player who constantly puts his foot in his mouth, when it comes to her, just makes me wanna punch him. In the balls. He is rude,obnoxious at times. And he knows how to well you know. He's jaded too of course. Until he meets her. And she tells him off. The sex of course between them was hot.

Good, but not exactly my favorite.
Mostly because the story went too fast and I wish I could feel more spark between our main characters. I also wish there'll be more drama though. But overall I enjoyed it. I guess if you're up for a short, hot story, this book is right for you. Look forward to read more from Hazel Gower!

Quick, easy read. Cute story. Is it the best story I've ever read? No. But, I really enjoyed it. Wonder if the other characters will get stories.
