Основные тезисы книги по поводу того, как обрести энергию:
- Навести порядок - избавиться от ненужных вещей и отказаться от начатых проектов, которые вы точно никогда не закончите.
- Научиться говорить "нет"
- Знать свои "восстановители" и "разрушители" энергии. Неприятные дела засовывать между двумя "восстановителями" по принципу бутерброда. Восстановители - это, например, поиграть с собакой, погулять, сделать перерыв на кофе, поговорить с другом.
- Привести свои цели тайм-менеджмента в соответствие с жизненными целями. Каждое утро выбирать три дела, которые вы хотите сделать за день - хотя бы одно из них должно помогать продвигаться к жизненным целям.
- Развивать внимательность - чтобы уметь сосредоточиться на том, что вы делаете в настоящий момент.
- Заниматься спортом, правильно питаться, высыпаться, дышать глубоко и не забывать отдыхать.

this book lost me when it listed one of the benefits of incorporating exercise into your day as 'toned bodies look better than flabby ones'.

This was quite an average self help book. Content was much too over simplified, and sometimes the chapter conclusions tagged on new information or introduced a new idea that was not previously covered. (I'm suprised this was not flagged by an editor pre-production?)

I felt additionally short changed as in parts it seemed like I was reading an advertisement for the authors other book. If you're thinking of buying this, perhaps you should read: "21 Ways and 21 Days To The Life You Want" instead. Apparently most of the content is covered in more detail there.

I can't say that I personally got a lot out of it, but one thing I was intruiged by is the emotional freedom technique. The appendinx outlines the method a best as a book can (You really need to watch a video tutorial) so I plan to look more into this.

It was alright, but didn't capture me that much, hence why I put it away several times and only finished it after months.
