Jurgens had a lengthy run on the Superman comic books including The Adventures of Superman, Superman vol. 2 and Action Comics. At Marvel, Jurgens worked on series such as Captain America, The Sensational Spider-Man and was the writer on Thor for six years. He also had a brief run as writer and artist on Solar for Valiant Comics in 1995.

Superman Reborn - 4.5 out of 5 stars
What I Liked
This was the first mega crossover event and the story started out with an absolute bang , with a return of a , let's go with eccentric , villain . This villain broke all sorts of 4th walls and even refrenced Superman the animated series . Talk about Easter eggs.
The whole event led to fixing the story line problems with Superman and combining all the memories of new 52 to the pre New 52 Superman tales.
There was also the involvement of the mysterious Mr Oz and the revelation of who the mysterious Clark Kent was .
Every part of the plot was handled real well and involving Jon in the story really gave it a emotional edge to most superman stories
What I didn't Like
The art . The art started out in a decent way but by the time we reached the concluding issues it went all sort of wayward and I can guarantee there's a mismatch in the facial sketches of all characters between the issues .
Meanwhile while the plot of the villain was explained in details , the trap he set out for Superman and Lois really wasn't given much time and what the trap was or how Superman came out of it remains the mystery despite the end of the titles.
The return and amalgamation of the new 52 stories and memories with the present Superman was also done in an incomprehensible manner
Conclusion
being the first major cross over mega event , this lived up to the expectation , however there is a feeling that things could have been done better and maybe the finale could have been explained a bit better

This certainly what I was expecting from the series, but I guess it wasn't bad either. I just think this didn't need to be a big event like D.C. Made it out to be. Superman has been one of the most constantly enjoyable titles so hopefully that continues after this.

I was left a bit unsatisfied with the ending of this arc solely because I don't think I'm completely sure about the implications. From what I understand, two continuities have been united after the event of this arc, but I'm not sure what that means in the long run. I also wanted a bit more of a conclusive end to the villain. I do like the overall theme of the arc, though, which is that love conquers all kinds of difficulties. Not a bad crossover overall.

Eu gostaria de ter algum tipo de interação dos dois supermen, mas tudo bem. Ver o Jon tentando convencer a Lois e Super que ele é o filho deles é interessante.

Superman New 52 y Rebirth ahora están unidos, me súper encanta. Bien por Dan Jurgens al ser un histórico en casi todas las facetas de Superman desde que comenzó a trabajar en la editorial.
Mientras Superman y Mxyzptlk luchan, el Planeta Infinito comienza a desmoronarse a su alrededor. En sus formas energéticas, Superman y Lois de la Nueva Tierra logran herir a Mxyzptlk, obligándolo a escapar. Superboy recibe instrucciones de sus padres sobre cómo ayudarlos a recuperar su plenitud y les ruega a los recién resucitados Superman y Lois que recuerden sus vidas anteriores, antes de Mxyzptlk, antes de que el universo fuera transformado por la entidad desconocida. Al principio, Superman y Lois se muestran reacios, pero los padres de Jon conectan con ellos y de repente comprenden de qué habla Jon.
Bajo la influencia de energías azules y rojas, Superman y Lois recuerdan el amor que una vez sintieron y los recuerdos que compartieron con su hijo. Marido y mujer se besan mientras su hijo los abraza con cariño.

The conclusion to the four part story arc Superman Reborn.I love how so much was explained but yet the biggest part of the mysterious circumstances behind the two Clark Kents is yet to be revealed.Who is pulling all the strings?Stay tuned to find out.
