Body Electric #3

Hardware: A Male-Male Erotic Robot Romance

Rate this book
He’s turned on and wired for pleasure...

Dallas is a sex-bot. He’s got a body built for passion and a mind that can calculate the pleasure potential of any possible position in less than a nanosecond. And having downloaded a lifetime’s worth of online porn, he takes talking dirty to a whole new level. But underneath his sex-obsessed circuits, Dallas knows there’s more to life than libido and lube. What he wants is love, and the object of his affection is fellow robot Green.

The problem is, Green doesn’t know how to feel. He’s been built without emotions or any working sexual parts. The parts are easy—a quick nip and weld and he’s good to go—but when an emotional upgrade goes spectacularly wrong, Green is left with the sex-drive of a rampant rabbit and the emotional intelligence of a fridge.

The sex is sizzling but it’s never enough. Can one robot teach another that doing it with love makes everything better?

Hardware by Electra Shepherd.
Isla and Hall are helping green robot. Dalas has fallen in love with him. But while they are sending info to him something happens and red robot is caught in the middle. She goes insane and goes on the run.
This is a fantastic series. I loved the story and the characters. Absolutely fantastic. 5*. Highly recommended. Tbc on fb.

Another fun, sexy and thought provoking read.

I adore Dallas and I have a huge soft spot for Green.

I also have a new appreciation for holding hands.

Book Review Hardware, Book Three in The Body Electric Series

This is my review of ‘Hardware’ by Electra Shepherd. This book falls firmly in the ‘Erotic’ category of literature and is not for the faint-hearted. However, if you like your men, or even robots, strong and sexy, then this book is for you. The story follows the robotic development of both Dallas and Green; with strong sexual scenes and emotional discovery. I loved the traumatic event which brought out the characters’ chemistry and found myself page-turning desperately to find out what happened next. My only dislike was that I found the story too short! I soooooo wanted it to continue. So if you are looking for a short book with lots of steamy scenes to keep you interested, this is the book for you. Definitely not for younger readers! I give this book 4 stars and promise to be looking out for more by Electra Shepherd.

I was provided this book by TBC for an honest review.
I mainly read queer fiction these days and this appealed straight away.
Dallas appeared in book 2 which I haven't read but he was built for Isla to help her have sex without emotions, he was given emotions from both her and her boyfriend Hal and upon meeting Green a house robot falls in love.
Green is the outfitted with anatomical body parts and supposedly emotions but that goes wrong during the upload leaving Green raring for sex but with no emotions.
Yes there's sex in this book but it's so much more, to show that sex is always more pleasurable with emotion and how it is to fall in love with someone.
A great book I now want to read the others too.

This is the third in the series and after reading the first two, I didn't hesitate getting stuck in to this one.

This novella follows two robot's stories this time, Dallas who is ready for a relationship, and Green who Dallas has fallen for, but who has no interest in love. The first two in the series for me were a little too short, they didn't go in to as much detail as I would have liked. I felt there was something missing and I wanted more! This one on the other hand was great and the perfect length, I have to say it's my favourite one so far.

I cannot wait to read the next one, 4 stars.

this is the third book in the series and I loved the first two so thought I would read this one as well. I may be slightly biased as mm isn't really a type of book I would read but if you skip all the sex scenes there is still a really good story underneath all about love instead of just sex. Ideally you need to have read books 1 and 2 first to understand all the people and robot relationships but as they are novellas it shouldn't take you that long to catch up with it all. I read the book in a day and can't wait to read what happens next to the robots

This is the third book in the series and according to me it can't be read as stand alone novellas. A great fast and sometimes funny read with male on male eroticism. As with the other two in the series I loved this one as well. I just love Dallas and poor Green does not really know what is going on. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.

3 stars

I enjoyed it as much as the two books before it. This one was interesting as the romance was focused on two robots instead of the usual human and a robot mix, and I gotta say, Electra Shepherd did a fine job with this one. The relationship Green and Dallas had was adorable, and even though this is the 3rd book in the series, it still was a thought-provoking read for me.

The Turing test continues

Dallas feel in love with Green at first sight, but Green hasn't been programmed to feel and he's another than a Ken doll. Things go haywire during Green's upgrade, and Green had to learn to feel on his own. Great continuation of this story!
