Can't wait for you to meet Bo!!! Be prepared to swoon!

Remember when I said that Wallflowers: Three of a Kind was Perfect?! Well, with Double Trouble C.P. Smith managed to top that up, because Bo and Sienna’s story was BEYOND perfect!

This book, like the first one, is so much more than a couple’s love story. Wallflowers truly is journey, and I couldn’t adore these three couples – yes, we all know how that cat and mouse thing is going to go with Nate and Poppy – and the whole universe any more. I’m completely and utterly addicted and devour every word C.P. Smith writes, but these girls and their men take it so a whole new level.

Bo (who I’m claiming as my own, btw) and Sienna, with their broken pasts proved that love can indeed overcome everything, given how they healed one another with the help of their family at heart, the rest of the gang. In the meanwhile there was an enticing mystery, that hooked us in, even more, and plenty of funny shenanigans the girls managed to get themselves into, sorry, that managed to find them.LOL

The suspense, the discovery and all the puzzle pieces flowed perfectly and realistically.

And I’ll stop my praising here because you really NEED to read this! One sexy HOT Alpha, one sassy and sweet ‘wallflower’ and plenty of suspense, and off the charts chemistry within the whole group, need I say more?! Oh, yes, and be prepared, because like me, you’ll be begging CP for Nate and Poppy’s story! I know I did! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

With no words spoken, love spilled between those sheets and healed us both, wrapping us in a cocoon that neither time nor space could weaken. For the first time in either of our lives, we were finally home.
Finally secure.
Finally loved for who we were.

2.5 She's TSTL star..

*Groan* *facepalm*
I'm here thinking why do I do this to myself?

Why are these heroines in this series so damn stupid? These are not shenanigans that they do, NOOO... they get in situations they have no business being in the first place.

And this quote from the heroine just pissed me off..
So does this mean women who enjoy and have a healthy sex life are worth shit to men?
Well TO ME it feels like every author out there is sending THAT message..

This is why CP Smith is an auto buy....

I rarely (if ever) give 5 stars to a book without an epilogue. They are too important to me and the lack of one leaves me feeling like the story is incomplete. That being said, this was so good, and I loved it so much, that I had to give it 5 stars.

I literally could have posted quote after quote of witty lines or steamy dirty talk (all things that I love). I absolutely adored every character.

Bo, that sexy beast....he was a fantastic hero. He had a bad childhood and felt he needed to keep Sienna at bay- that didn't last long. He was alpha, loving and an all around good man. Once he finally gave in and went after Sienna, there was nothing that could stand in his way.

Sienna was so sweet. She was strong, smart and so funny. I adore these Wallflowers. I felt for her because her family wasn't there for her and she had no control over the reasons why. If anyone should have been exciled, it should have been her mother. I was so glad that she and Bo provided the love and security that each have lacked in their lives.

-no cheating - CP Smith has a disclaimer that she doesn't have that in her stories ....she doesn't let us down
-no ow/om drama
-pushing away but it doesn't last long
-steamy sex scenes
-great secondary characters
-no epilogue- I was disappointed in this fact. However, the main characters from book 1 played a big part in this story, so I'm hoping the same will happen with book 3. Hopefully even an epilogue to wrap them all up? Wishful thinking....

I am looking forward to book 3, I'm hoping Nate and Poppy have been celibate since first meeting.

I like them big, braw and scowling

I think these types of stories are not for everyone. Me, I love them when I’m in the right mood. What type of book am I talking about? The Alpha hero meets his TSTL heroine… Look, what better way to make your hero sparkle and shine than to have a heroine that needs saving. Sure, it may make the heroine look utterly stupid, but you take the good with the bad.

In my romance reads, I’m a sucker for a hero that is big and braw, rescuing his lady love, bare-chested, scowling at the ne’er do well baddies and charging off on his brute of a stallion. Now, you might be thinking that I’m talking about a historical romance. I’ll be honest, Double Trouble really read like an historical romance…with a touch of smutty, madcap, suspense, cowboy fun. Where else would you have the fair virginal maiden who blushes like a schoolgirl at the hint of sexual innuendo? You can’t help but think historical when a hero demands that his woman stays put and do what she’s told. Oh, the heroine gets all huffy and does what she wants anyway, leading to the hero rushing in to save the damsel in distress. Then we have the remorse after she’s saved from being stuck up a tree, fallen in the mud or came face to face with a red-haired bandit who holds a weapon to her head. See, you can’t blame me for thinking historical romance.

Anyways, Double Trouble was entertaining. The sexy times were really HOT!! The suspense portion of the story was made up of a ton of coincidences that seemed to all meld together but were really miles apart. The camaraderie between 3 blokes who fall for women that are nothing but trouble. The friendship between the Wallflowers was something I can relate to. Well, the book loving portion was familiar and relatable. Not sure the TSTL portion of their friendship is something that I’d want to relate to though, as I’m not one to risk or put myself in danger. The additional characters were interesting, but I admit that Chase’s small part was a wee bit OTT and I can’t say I’m a big fan of Sienna’s family.

Like Sienna, Calla and Poppy, I’m a huge fan of Julie Garwood’s historical romances and I loved the mention of the characters from them. Double Trouble really felt like a romance reader's haven. I felt comfort and familiarity at the mention of books and characters that I know and love. I smirked when the characters recognise an Alpha hero when they meet them and to some extent, even know how to handle them because of their knowledge. Sure, sure, it’s so far from reality…but isn’t it great to dream?

Another great instalment to the series and I can't wait for Poppy and Nate's story.

-Screwball comedy romance. When I requested this ARC, I had thoroughly enjoyed Wallflowers: Three of a Kind, the first book in this series. There was a good mix of humor, romance and some suspenseful action-y type scenes. I got to enjoy the little ‘verse Ms. Smith had created and was eager to see what she had in store for the next Wallflower, Sienna. She seemed to be the fairly level headed one of this trio of friends, and her interactions with Bo in the first book were thoroughly intriguing. I enjoyed the ‘verse but man does it get crazy up in this joint. Let’s dive in, shall we?

-More continuing saga than standalone. The story picks up right where we left off in the previous book. So much so, that there is barely any setup before the reader is lead straight into Bo and Sienna’s dramatic issues with getting involved. AKA the emotional bruhaha: Bo’s mother left his family and was headstrong and headed straight into disaster, eventually leading to her death and he is afraid of being hurt. Sienna, on the other hand, has no experience with love as she is the product of an affair, her father left and her mother and siblings treat her like poo they scraped off their shoe. There’s more defense being played here than the last hockey game I watched.

-Heightened situations lead to some crazy antics. So, straight up, this story has a more wacky, kind of “I Love Lucy” vibe than the first book. Think Lucy and Ethel on a dude ranch kind of vibe. It can be fun, but you definitely need to be in that particular mood. I wasn’t quite there, but I really wanted to connect with Bo and Sienna. They said alot of the right things (sometimes repeatedly) but then...

description

-The romance is...ok. Ay Dios Mio. The emotional antics just missed it for me. Basically, Sienna lived in the Waffle House when it came to deciding whether to be with Bo (who was your standard possessive alpha type). Bo visited the Waffle House, but he moved on pretty quick, which I appreciated.

-The virgin trope is fine, but… What caused me to not connect with the romance was the emphasis on the virgin trope, especially some of Sienna’s comments about it. Don’t get me wrong, I can get down with it, but the use of “soiled” in relation to a woman turns me off. That’s just a personal peeve of mine, so if it doesn’t bother you as a reader, carry on.
-Still looking forward to the next installment. Ok, after all this, I want to clarify, I like alot of the characters and I like this ‘verse and I think it can be enjoyable, even if Bo and Sienna weren’t quite my cuppa. I have high hopes for Poppy and Nate.

description

The Wallflowers are a wacky crew and I liked it, just not as much as the 3 of a Kind. While the humor can be fun, I could have done with less screwball comedy and more time devoted to the emotional aspect of this romance. However, I do enjoy Ms. Smith’s characters and I am really intrigued with Poppy and Nate, so if you’re into the wacky side of romance, you may enjoy this.

4.5 Fun & Sexy Stars!!

This is the second book in C.P. Smith “Wallflowers” series and if you (like myself) LOVE alpha’s this is a must read author!!!!! I absolutely love and adore every single character in this series (along with all her other books/series). The Wallflowers are fantastically loyal friends; and make you wish you were part of their little trio. This story is so much than a love story, it’s a story of love, friendship, family, and comradery. I must say I absolutely love and adore (Calla’s) Aunties, I’m so glad they were included in this book.

 photo PicsArt_1501411932919_zpsqy9bfxuw.jpg

This is Bo and Sienna’s book, who both have heartbreaking backgrounds and must learn to trust each other. I must say I loved watching them fight their growing attraction to one another, these two were absolutely made for each other! You can actually feel their chemistry, their passion, and their struggle to fight a losing battle…..fun times!!

Sienna & Bo's story follows right after Calla & Devin's end. These wacky ladies seem to walk right into trouble and mischief….unwittingly (at least most) of the time, and once again a Wallflower finds herself in trouble and its “all for one and one for all” for these girls and the men who love them.

All-in-all, a great addition to the series and I can't wait for Poppy and Nate's story. Once again CP Smith rocked my world with her yummy alphas and the lucky women who managed to capture their hearts. The ending of this book will BLOW.YOUR.MIND and have you hoping and praying that the next book will be released soon!!!!! PLEASE C.P. Smith don’t keep us waiting too long!

ARC received for an honest review

This is the second book in the Wallflowers series, and carries on where book one, Three Of A Kind finishes up.

Double the trouble, double the suspense and double the laughs is what CP Smith has given us with Double Trouble.

If you have read the first book, you will know doubt remember the trouble that our wallflowers, Calla, Sienna and Poppy got themselves into.

This is a romantic suspense story, so it is romancey, and it is suspsensey, but it is so much more than that.

I laughed, I cried, I screamed at my kindle. I shook my my head at the girls antics, felt for those mean dealing with them, whilst laughing at the same time.

I adore Bo and Sienna together. They have that love/hate thing going on real well.

You know things are going to be fiery between them, but whooeee those sparks!

Witty writing, beautiful friendships, fun storylines, Double Trouble kept me turning page after page to find out what shenanigans the wallflowers would get up to next.

There is some great set up for the third book in the series, and can't wait to see what happens next.

I Voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book

Everything about this book was just AWESOME... I loved Bo and I loved Sienna, but the two of them together.... HOT HOT HOT

From the beginning to the end these women with their men will have you hooked. Sienna always felt like the odd one out in her family, so when she met Poppy and Calla she finally found her place, but she still had that insecurity that she's not good enough for anyone.

Bo did everything he could to deny that Sienna had him from the minute he laid eyes on her. But he had his own insecurities about trusting women. How could he when his own mother left him when he was just a boy.
But he couldn't deny his feelings for Sienna and finally he just had to give in. But will he be able to keep her safe from other and more importantly from herself.

This book will have you LOL for the girls antics, but also make you want to cry your eyes out. Everything about this book will have you screaming for me. Love, Sex and danger, what more can you ask for

I can't wait for the next book, I want it, I need it NOW!!!

I thought Wallflowers: Three of a Kind was funny well Double Trouble had me laughing even more so!! The "adventures" these wild wallflowers got into had me shaking my head and yelling "Don't do it" yet "adventured followed them like a shadow.

Poppy and Sienna's banter with each other had me constantly laughing and snorting. It made me think of my friends and the conversations we've had.

“Five minutes with Randy Balls and a vibrator keeps me warm at night.”

Sienna's attraction to Bo is intense to say the least yet Bo's past has him cautious around her. And yes he says and does some idiotic things that had me shaking my head. As they "danced" around each other you could feel the intense chemistry that had sparks shooting out. We get to see Bo's alpha come out and my goodness I needed relief from the heat he was bringing to my tablet.

“Do you get it yet?” he whispered. “Mine to touch. Mine to taste. Mine to fuck until you’re breathless . . . Mine to worship.”

We do get to see what Devin and Calla are up and let me say that their love has only intensified. Be prepared to cry, laugh and swoon over the men these wallflowers love. ~Kara, 5 Stars

🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

I love everything this author creates. She's a straight up first class ticket to romance. My kind of love stories with heroes who know exactly what they want and they claim it. Bo fought his feelings for a small moment but after that he straight up took on the task of showing Sienna what a real man is like. This story in true CP Smith fashion had exciting twists, crazy shenanigans and a blazing love story. You'll want to #oneclicknow because #BoIsAwesome.

First, I must let you know to read this series in order as all six characters, encompassing the three couples, are introduced in the first book, Wallflowers: Three of a Kind. It is so flipping good. I've been eagerly anticipating the second title and I know I'll do the same for the third. I fell in love with this author, these characters, this series, within a couple chapters. Now, Bo and Sierra's story has arrived, and I'm diving in.

Sienna, PA to the CEO of Poe Publishing, has always felt invisible, misunderstood and essentially ostracized from her parents for not taking after them, nor being the perfect child like her siblings. However, when a truth is revealed when she was fifteen, she was visible, but seen as the reason her dad left, unable to live with her mom's lies any longer. Not too long after reaching adulthood, she fell for her brother's friend, only to once again become invisible as the feelings weren't returned at all. She's since started a man embargo and is sticking with it. When she and her friend, Poppy, find a third women like them, geeky, introverted, etc., they know Cali is their sister at heart, and so the Wallflowers are born.

Bo, a cop, is emotionally jaded due to the abandonment of his mom while he was young, and the impact it had on his dad. Bo has stubbornly become set in his ways, vowing to avoid any woman that reminds him of his mom. Upon meeting Sienna, he perceives her to be the same way, believing her as headstrong, a rule breaker, and nothing but trouble, yet at the same time the pull to her is so strong.

When Sienna is faced with her past in the form of Chase, the guy she believed herself to be in love with, she quickly realizes what she felt for him was nothing but imagining him as the one who would save her, any hold he had on her is long gone. She's free. Now, if only she could let go of the attraction she feels for Bo...but she knows what she feels for him is real, completely different from her young crush on Chase. However, it's clear Bo feels nothing for her but annoyance and disgust, a fact made evidenced by the heartbreaking words he hurls at her while fighting what he feels for her, unable to accept Sienna is nothing like his mom.

Unfortunately, as Sienna, Cali, and Poppy are trying to enjoy girls' night out, Sienna trying to magic wand her pain away, they accidentally walk into something they should, and as such, are now in danger. As Bo works toward discovering who's after them and why, his connection, his attraction, to Sienna steadily grows stronger, and he begins to see her in a different light, realizing he misjudged her. Sienna, learning what she feels for Bo is returned, they did to take a chance and explore what they could be to one another.

Can Bo make things right with Sienna before it's too late? Can he make her see that he's happy she came into his life? Will Sienna accept that Bo truly sees her as she is, and adores her for it? Are the Wallflowers safe? Will Bo uncover who's behind the attacks on them? Will Bo and Sienna get their HEA?

This trio of friends seem to be magnets to drama and trouble. If there is a chance of something going wrong it will happen to them. Calla, Sienna and Poppy call themselves the Wallflowers after being tired of sitting in the background and not having someone special in their lives. Calla found love with Devin in the first book of this series and this time it’s Sienna’s turn in the love saddle.

Bo Strawn is a local police officer who has had a few dealings recently with the wallflower ladies and Sienna has caught his eye. He is all about law and order, not taking unnecessary risks so her has work cut out for him with Sienna who seems to blatantly disregard and pay no heed to any warnings he gives her.

When Sienna and Poppy decide to take a break from city drama and spend a week at a ranch Bo is somewhat relieved that they are away from any potential danger, however it’s like watching an episode of Scooby-Doo – everywhere these ladies go a mystery lands on their lap and danger follows.

From horse riding, racing around on ATV’s, deliberately set fires and getting lost in a cave – this story had enough suspense and adventure to keep me turning the pages until the very end.

I love the humour between the wallflowers and I love the men who seem to spend their lives being heroes rescuing their damsels.

Bo and Sienna are complete opposites in every way but they are so good together. I really enjoyed their journey to find love with each other.

‘Wallflowers don’t have flaws,’ I choked out. ‘We just see the world differently. And because of that, we need a certain type of man.’

‘And what kind of man is that?’ he asked softly. ‘Only the best kind of man. A hero,’ I whispered. ‘One who can save us from our past.’

CP Smith is a master at creating such fun lovable characters that truly bring laughter, spark, and an eternal feel-good to ones soul.
Wallflowers- Double Trouble is superb, I just love Calli, Poppy, Sienna and their men they drive wild.
These three wallflowers do not and will not let anything stand in their way. Even a robber holding a gun, which one of them totally sidelined with a yeti coffee cup. I just love their fearlessness.
Then the vacation they all take... my heart soared. Who doesn't have fun at a working dude Ranch when your men follow to just keep you safe. And with these three, they do need protection, they're definitely danger magnets. Loved the mystery, suspense, and of course the hot-steamy romance in this exciting book.
But the ending revelation was mind blowing!!!!
A wonderfully written book, that really lifted my spirits.

“No more talkin’,” the man shouted, pointing his gun at me. “Out of the car.”
“Why?” I asked, because it was a logical question.
“Because I said so.”
“That’s not good enough,” I retorted. “I do not go home with strange men.”
The man looked confused, and, I’ll admit, a wee bit pissed off by my answer. Maybe this is his first robbery? "

And thus the shenanigans of the Wallflowers of Savannah commence. In the latest by C.P. Smith, Double Trouble, the focus falls firmly on one Sienna Miller. While this is a romance suspense read, the focus is on the characters. The danger they seem to find themselves in only helps to show who they are, how they handle adversity, and drives the connection with the men in their lives.

Sienna is simply darling. She is endearing in her innocence and garnering my sympathy from the way she is treated by her biological family. Which is really okay, because her girls Calla and Poppy help make up for it.

But the gap can only be closed by one Bo Strawn. It isn't a matter of if he will get the girl, it's a matter of when. When will he see what she means to him and when, as the alpha man he is, will he claim her. And you know when it happens it's gonna be sooo good!

"He was done fighting what he wanted. Done denying what he felt for the woman. He wanted her, and he knew she felt something for him. He’d seen it in her eyes on the beach. It was time to drop the subterfuge that he didn’t want to claim Sienna for his own."

The story is fast paced and packed to the brim with action, in and out of the bedroom. CP writes some of the very best alpha males and their loves scene are nothing short of scorching. She also creates an suspense story filled with hi-jinx and fun, and through this pays homage to her favorite reads in the genre.

I love the little family the Wallflowers are creating. It's a sisterhood that is tested only by their deep appreciation of each other, at least so far. At the end of the story, once the girls and the men survive a stay at a dude ranch, we are left with a pretty big bomb. It's going to be interesting to see this play out with Poppy's story and the next chapter of the Wallflowers' "One Heart Remains". Double Trouble is yet another great read from C.P. Smith!

That's it! I am officially moving to Savannah to join the Wallflowers! Gonna bring a sassy attitude and a bottle of Absinthe. Gonna hope and pray I meet an uber hot alpha/caveman like our Detective Bo Strawn. We met Bo in the previous Wallflower installment and his attraction to Sienna was evident there. The Wallflowers consist of three women with a strong bond of friendship and a pledge to always be there for each other. To the men who are attracted to them..."Wallflowers burrow under your skin and wrap around your heart. There's no escapin' them once they grab hold." Bo and Sienna's journey to love is fraught with stumbling blocks. Whether it's Bo's painful past or Sienna loveless one. Or maybe its an attempted robbery? Or a dead body when you least expect it? Quirky romantic suspense peppered with laugh-aloud situations and some sexy times. Quite a surprise at the end of this one! Not. Expecting. That! Can't wait for the next book to see how that "situation" shakes out. Fun, lighthearted read ( despite the dead body). Loving this series and these characters. Look out Nate because I think you're next!

Wallflowers: Double Trouble by C.P. Smith
Sienna & Bo
I’VE NEVER GIGGLE SO MUCH
5 STARS

Seriously folks… this is a “Romantic Suspense,” so don’t get me wrong. It’s packed full of suspense, but equally packed with humor…. Lots and lots of humor. How can you not laugh at these Wallflowers? They do and say some of the funniest shit that I couldn’t help but laugh out loud… even on the treadmill at the gym.. I got some funny looks, but kept on laughing!

Sienna is just like the rest of them. Headstrong, heartstrong, and has a will of steel. At times I wanted to high five her and join in the festivities and other times I was like, girl you betta not! She reminds me of someone I know!! (wink wink). I guess the best part of this book for me was the crazy antics the girls found themselves into. I want to BE a Wallflower!!

Bo is all kinds of crazy… but I guess you have to be to take on a Wallflower. He starts out kind of set in his ways, but before long he’s finding himself caving to the predicaments Sienna and the girls get themselves into. Poor guy! He does have back up, but in my opinion, no amount of back up is enough to handle Sienna, Poppy, and Cali! LOL!

I loved all the supporting character cast. I like to see the past and future main characters mingling with the current ones. CP always finds a way to bring everyone back so that we can get a glimpse into what’s happening with their lives or (wink wink) what is sure to happen in an upcoming book!

This story is gripping, hilarious, and sensual. I found it flowed very nicely and the storyline was captivating. The characters are commanding and the tension immense. It’s not a dark read, but definitely not light either. I loved the ending even though it hooked me for the next book… I’ll be thinking about a biker dude for a while now!

These Wallflowers!! My goodness - they do need heroes in their lives to help balance out their fearlessness and protect/save them from the trouble they seem to have fallen into in their lives. It's crazy to think about how between book 1 and 2 there's only been a few weeks time gone by, and these girls some how manage to find themselves stumbling into some pretty intense situations one right after the other and still manage to get swept off their feet and fall in love. I'm almost nervous about what the next week (book) will find Poppy leading the Wallflowers into -- these heroes of theirs need some sleep and recovery time! (he he he! okay, maybe not Devin. Or Bo. ;) )

Anyways -- I absolutely LOVE Double Trouble and getting to really dive into Bo and Sienna's relationship, see them begin to really heal from their pasts, and find a connection that they both have been craving and needing desperately. Love how the sparks fly between them, heating up the pages, and not just between the sheets. I have pages of convos between them, and between the Wallflowers highlighted simply because of the beauty and love and connection that's shown in all the relationships. These themes of loyalty, friendship, healing, laughter, and love continue to be weaved through the series and it keeps getting deeper and better as we go. Oh, and the plot twists!? haha! They keep you guessing up to the very end!

You don't want to miss out on Bo and Sienna's story, however you'll want to be sure to read Wallflowers: Three of a Kind first because Double Trouble picks up right where Three of a Kind leaves off and the story arc continues.

I'm lovin' the set up for Poppy and Nate's story and am patiently (but also excitedly anxious) for the remaining Wallflower to find her HEA.

Without fail CP Smith delivers an amazing book for me once again. I could read her books one after the other and never tire of them. There is just something completely unique about her writing style that has be hooked.

Another romantic suspense, this one Number 2 of the wallflowers Sienna and Bo Strawn the local cop. Although this is a completely different couple having their story told I'd definitely say read book 1 first.

All the way through this I was giggling at the girls and what trouble they always found themselves in. I know without a doubt I'd love some friends like them.
And after hearing so much about it I think I'll be trying some green fairy potion if that's how it makes you feel haha!
Though this book primarily is about Sienna and Bo we get just as much of the calla and poppy and Devin and eventually Nate which is great.

I'm looking forward to Poppy's turn now, I've got a feeling that ones going to be extra special with how this was left.

How do you expect me to come back from that kind of ending? I NEED THE THIRD BOOK NOW!

This is the second book in the series, and if you haven’t read the first one; Wallflowers: Three of a Kind (Read My Review) – then STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING AND GO READ IT NOW!

This book might be about Bo Strawn and Sienna Miller – but the plot is a carryover from the first one and you need to be caught up with that to understand the subtle nuances of this book!

Bo and Siena had a fiery connection that was clear even in the first book – what was not clear was how they will move forward from the issues that they so suffered from! I adored their push and pull relationship – it made for a very stimulating read; enough so that I ended up with a smile on my face, tears in my eyes and so freaking into the book that I didn’t even realize when the sun set in.

This is, at its foundation, a romantic suspense but what makes it even a better read is the foundation friendship that was laid in the first book; and continues in the second amongst the three “wallflowers” – I cherished their unflinching loyalty towards each other and their effusive cheering for each other – it made for some hilarious times!

Ms. Smith writes some pretty amazing Alpha heroes, and her stories usually have insta – love scenarios but that tends to get blended in with the a richly written plot line; and hence my love for her writing style has only grown with all of her books! <3

But I can never forgive her for the doozy she gave me with that kind of CLIFFHANGER – I mean, is this how you treat your readers? Leaving them with a jaw dropped scenario at the end of a book and no next book in sight? HOW RUDE!

But ranting aside, I honestly love this author’s writing style – it is fun, adventurous and she gives one heck of one – liners for me to use on my unsuspecting husband :P

Wallflowers: Double Trouble is chocked full of hilarious antics, unbelievable circumstances, a little suspense, seedy and suspicious characters, mysteries and so many questionable coincidences. The ending was a jaw-dropping shocker and I can’t wait to find out what lies in store for the Wallflowers in book 3. It was so much fun to read as I was able to just sit back, relax, and enjoy the story. Trouble just seems to follow these three friends everywhere they go and the story has some twists and questions to solve which had me thinking but mostly had me laughing at every turn.

The Wallflowers are Cali, Sienna, and Poppy—three friends who have found each other and vow to stand by each other through life and love. None of them think love will ever come their way but when it finally does—BAM—fireworks ensue!

Double Trouble starts off right where three of a Kind (Book 1) ends. You will have no issues reading Double Trouble first but I highly recommend starting from the beginning to get to know the girls and wonder at all the trouble that seems to follow them around. Book 1 featured Cali’s troubles and new-found love with the hot private eye Devin who moved in next door.

Double Trouble is Sienna's POV and focuses on her struggles with rejection, self-esteem, her humiliation over her actions with a past crush, and her mixed feelings towards local law enforcement officer Bo Strawn. Turns out he has some struggles of his own and he can’t help but finally let his protectiveness over Sienna win out when he hears she has headed to a dude ranch where trouble is apt to follow her and likely end up getting her killed. It seems that no matter how hard Bo tries to keep Sienna and the girls safe, they can’t seem to sit still. They are always able to rationally justify their actions in their own little minds but the black cloud of trouble never leaves their side. Let’s just say I now have a new-found curiosity in Absinthe—I’ve heard about its powerful properties and the effects this green magic fairy potion has on the girls are hilarious. Double Trouble was a great read that had me laughing and swooning a bit too. CP sure knows how to create seriously amazing book boyfriends in the most delicious way. Bo is definitely a sight for sore eyes and Sienna is a very lucky woman.

Double Trouble also gives us a glimpse into the issues in Poppy’s life and a new love interest for her shows up. Nate is the local bar owner and friends with Devin and Bo so he makes an obviously perfect choice for Poppy although they seem to be fighting their attraction most of the way. I’m sure we will see more of that in book 3.

I totally recommend this book and the whole series to everyone who is ready for a fun read. Nothing too deep, just a little craziness in the regular day-to-day events of the Wallflowers.

I would highly recommend you read book 1 of the Wallflowers series (Three of a Kind) before you jump into this story.

If you're familiar with these three wacky women who call themselves The Wallflowers you already know to expect some sassy, some suspense, and a big dose of sexy! And that's not just from the ladies ;) That all lives on with this second book featuring Bo and Sienna.

Bo Strawn is the sexy detective who can't get Sienna Miller off his mind. Usually because she's getting on his last nerve because her and her friends are always doing something to put them in danger and risk their own safety. But it's more than that. Bo's attraction to Sienna is taking over his mind and body like an out of control wildfire.

Sienna Miller is a beautiful and sweet woman who is only looking out for her heart and self esteem after a disastrous attempt to win the love of a man from her past. After, once again she and her friends find themselves in a sticky situation, Sienna decides taking an impromptu "Wild West" vacation is just what she needs.....and that's when the real shenanigans begin!

I've enjoyed this series as much as I've enjoyed all of this authors other books. All of her characters are well formed and easy to relate to. The men and women in this series are funny and lovable and you just can't help but wanna hang out with them if you could. I do recommend not just this book, but the first book in the series and I say jump on them now to add as your summer reads!!! I give this book 5 stars and I CAN NOT WAIT for book 3 to be released.

I was given this book as an ARC for an honest review.
