Call Me Daddy

Rate this book
I want him to be my first.
I want him to be the one.
I want him to be my everything.

I didn’t expect to spend my eighteenth birthday stranded in the pouring rain with no way to make it home.
I didn’t expect to be rescued from the worst night of my life by the most amazing man I’d ever seen.

His name is Nick, and he says he wants to take care of me, says he’ll look after me, says I don’t need to be alone anymore.

He treats me like a princess, like the fragile little girl he saved from the cold.

But I like him… I like him like that.
I’ve never liked anyone like that before…

And it’s weird, this thing we have…
It’s like I can’t decide how we’re supposed to be… what we are…
Until he says the words…

Call me Daddy.

4 Smut Scale Stars

This might be my favorite Daddy/Little Girl book that I've read to date. The writing style was wonderful and there was some pretty decent characterization too, considering.

And the Smut.
Oh the Smut.
So dirty.
So wrong.
So awesome. Lol

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2! Call Me Daddy (stand-alone). [Over-the-top] kink & fairytale romance at its best!

“Let’s make you nice and wet for Daddy’s cock.”

Call Me Daddy (stand-alone) opens up to college student Laine Seabourne aka Baby girl being rescued from a precarious situation by businessman Nick Lynch aka Daddy Nick. Nick immediately feels protective of Laine and she takes comfort in his commanding ways.

“No secrets, Laine,” he repeats. “Daddy wants to see.”

They quickly discover they have a lot in common in the kink department.

“Soon, sweetheart, soon Daddy’s going to give you his cock.”

Call Me Daddy, told from dual POVs, is a hot in-between-read for when you are in mood for some kink; daddy role-play, dirty-talking and off-the-charts smut set against a Cinderella feel romance with two lonely souls who are perfect for each other.

“It’s coming, sweetheart. Daddy’s cum is coming…”

4 Taboo at it's Finest Stars

"Daddy play is............niche, Laine, so niche that most people just wouldn't understand."

 photo welcomehomedaddy_zpsokfkiopm.jpg

Okay so I was ecstatic when I saw that Jade was bringing out a new book, then I read the title. I was apprehensive to say the least, not sure where she was going with this one. I still had to have it because Jade just writes dirty so well.

Fangirl lovin photo fangirling_zpseyocuzk4.gif

I got sucked into this story, it's hot, I mean REALLY HOT!!! It does get a little hard to stomach at times but overall it was a steamy kinky read that got me very:

 photo faningvag_zpsli19tpoh.gif

For me the 'Daddy' thing was not that bad in this. The way it's written portrays two lonely soles, Nick 42 looking for someone to take care of and spoil and Laine 18 looking for a father figure to protect and love her something she has never had. So when these two meet it must be fate, right??

If you are looking for a deep and meaningful story then this is not for you. I did find it had more depth than most quick little smut reads however it was no novel.

If you have no 'Daddy' issues and like the older man rescues younger lady stories you should give this a go. Word of warning though, have some spare panties on hand ;)

3.5 DADDY'S BUTTERFLY STARS

“Call me Daddy,” I growl. “You can call me Daddy.”

Was it fate that they should meet on that faithful night in the rain after one of the most traumatic experiences of 18 year old Laine's life? That they should meet on her birthday?

description

Until this chance encounter with "Daddy Nick" Laine's been alone and unloved.

Nick, has been in love (platonically) once and it was with "his" little girl Jane. She wasn't his biological daughter but he gave her his unconditional love. To her and her mother, whom he rescued from a domestic situation.
Unfortunately, they were taken away from him much to soon and he always felt as if he had failed to protect them.
This is were it gets a little weird and quite frankly HOT! He sees in Laine a chance to set things right!
To finally take care of his little girl.

description

Laine has never had a father but envies Jane her daddy. She wants to know what it feels like to be cherished and loved. But it's not all she want.
She has dirty cravings as well.
Will She be able to express them to her new daddy figure?

description

I must admit that while I did enjoy this book, I found it disturbing as well.
Please don't read any further if you don't want some mild spoilers.

Issue one:

Their age difference. Laine just had her 18 birthday when they meet and Nick is 42.

Issue two:

The cycle of abuse. Nick was abused by his father (leaving scars) and he does the same punishment as his father did to him, to Laine. This was not acceptable to me. The cycle does seem to be broken but...

description

Issue three:

No real epilogue. I didn't get the epic ending I was hoping for. While I liked knowing that they finally have a more equal relationship. No more punishment or treating her like a child (unless she wanted it). Also, a longer epilogue would have allowed me to see if the cycle of abuse was truly broken and that they are able to function as a couple, long term I mean.

Now this book is not for everyone as it does have DD/lg play in it, however it's not all this book is about. They do have a real relationship as well.
I would only recommend it to those who enjoy this type of relationship.

Only for you....
description

This book is available through KU but I bought it after I read it. I plan on rereading it one day.

Safety: is perfect. Without any OW/OM drama and this is his first "little girl" and she is a virgin. No condoms. He is not a manwhore.

Insta-attraction, insta-trust, and insta-Daddy play...OMG⁉️
Jade West has a way of taking a taboo subject and turning it around into something hot, and delightfully passionate and romantic!
Laine is left stranded by her best friend after celebrating her 18 birthday. As she's fighting off the advances of a stranger, another stranger, 42 year old Nick, comes to get rescue. They're immediately attracted to each other and immediately decide to live together. He's always wished to have a little girl to care for and she's always wished to have a Daddy.
You think you know where this is going?
Oh no...
What unfolds was pure joy!
Despite their age difference, they had so much in common!
Both are desperate for a life less lonely that they both have been living for so long.
What set Nick apart from all the other alpha males was his total disregard for appearances. He took her out in public and was never ashamed of their significant age difference, or even of her calling him Daddy in public.
Can their Daddy play be enough for real love?
I loved these characters and I loved their dynamic, especially Nick, he was so interesting, so dark so hot alpha, but so good hearted!
I only wished we got more background info on Nick. He remained an enigma and I felt that his story was so important to the story. We only got glimpses of his past.
4.5 stars!

Gloriously smutty.
Surprisingly kinky.
Role play at its best.

The great thing is that there is actually a story behind all these about two adults (with a big age difference) who fall in love after destiny brings them together.

They started with Nick demanding:

"Call me Daddy", I growl. "You can call me Daddy."

And their relationship will reach a point with Nick admitting:

"You are not a little girl Laine. We just like to pretend you are."

Let’s dive into their story:

Laine and Nick find each other during a rainy night.
She runs to him for help. He gives her everything.

Both of their points of view are presented in the book.

His point of view is really interesting. You can see him fighting with his guilt about the norm of society. You can see him relieved and finally calm when he lets himself go, when he does what he pleases with his “little girl”.

However I really missed the background history. Was she the first person he tried his kink? Did he tried it with someone else and got rejected? Maybe that is why he is so hesitant? But he certainly needs her to feel complete.

Her point of view is also interesting. We understand that he is her first “Daddy”. He is her first everything. She is so innocent. She is so lonely. It is so strange that her mother never searched for her in the duration of the book.

We understand that she wants what he is offering, although she cannot express it. She needs a male presence, stability, strength, being looked after. She certainly needs him to feel complete.

It is obvious that for the best result both participants have to be willing. If there is a “Daddy” somewhere, there must be a “Little Girl” for him.

I am so glad that nothing is forced. It would have ruined everything, the whole fairytale and it would have been a one star rating for me.

The author does not hesitate to push her characters’ sexual preferences to the maximum and to the prohibited/dirty as it is considered by our society.

Still though there is a sense of normality when you reach the end of the story…

i need jesus

and so does this author. i don't mean that in a bad way. this was way too well written, and had a plot. but it was just so... fucking weird?

that's not me shaming the kink community. most of the reason i try shit like this is because it is so far outside of what i find sexy that i'm genuinely interested. i want to get inside the mind of people who enjoy this sort of thing because at the end of the day we're all human beings. and your kinks don't define you. but they are a part of you, and i want to be able to empathize even if i don't 100% understand it.

i've never read a true ddlg romance and this was very kinky imo. if you're interested in this subculture this book will probably work for you, like i said it's well written. but i was a little bothered by the ending. i think ddlg is supposed to be a sustainable lifestyle but the characters kind of "grow out of" the kink. which seemed a little... shitty i guess?

i didn't realize kinks were like an old pair of shoes that you could just get rid of. i digress.

Genre: Erotic Romance
Type: Standalone
POV: First Person - Dual
Rating:

Laine Seabourne was having the worst day of her life. Out on her own on a cold night, she got herself in trouble. But just when she thought she was doomed, out came a man rescuing her just in the Nick of time.

Nick Lynch was an older gentleman with a strong need to protect. When he saw Laine, he knew he needed to take care of her. But his desire to nurture and protect her went beyond what one would call a conventional relationship.

Jade West is my go to author for all things dirty and kinky. Thanks to her books, I got introduced to some very peculiar scenes, so Daddy kink is just a child's play to me haha!

I smile a dirty smile, and I can’t control the beast. I can’t fight the dark urges that want to consume her, soil her, corrupt her, break her and make her mine.

I'm not into older heroes, but Nick was certainly hot. I like how he was taking care of her while still letting her fly.

I know he wants me like that. And it’s the most amazing feeling, to be wanted by a man like Nick. A real man.

Laine was young and innocent. I like how she was curious and well, horny lol! There were times she seemed like a pushover, but it was part of her character development so it didn't bother me.

The storyline was more on the simple side. It focused more on their relationship than external circumstances. The sex, as usual was hot. There were parts that made me giggle with her tingles and tickles things and there were parts that made me all hot and bothered. One thing though, I was hoping for one scene, but it never happened.

“I’m going to shave your pretty little cunt, Laine, and then I’m going to suck on that smooth little mound until you come for your daddy like a good girl.”

Call Me Daddy is a story of a couple exploring their needs and desires. It would appeal to readers looking for a hot kinky read.

Note:
Daddy kink is not for everyone. If you're interested in reading, please do so with an open mind. Personally I think this one is pretty light on the subject. There was no over the top DDlg stereotype, so I believe even someone who are not into such lifestyle can still easily enjoy this book. :D

A Daddy Kink book by Jade West? Yes, please! She's one of my favorite authors for writing dirty erotica so I knew this book was going to be brilliant when I first heard about it. And I wasn't wrong, Jade West wrote the hell out of this and I was hanging on every word.

Call Me Daddy tells the story of Laine, a eighteen year old young girl whose been on her own for far too long, and Nick, a forty-two year old man who is tired of living a lonely life. The two meet the night of Laine's birthday when she's walking home in a not-so-great part of town after her friend left with her keys and purse. Nick saves Laine and takes her home with him to take care of her. The two quickly realize that they don't want to be alone anymore and fall into an unexpected relationship.
“Call me Daddy,” I growl. “You can call me Daddy.”

I wasn't expecting the relationship with Laine and Nick to be as well developed as it was, but it was a pleasant surprise. The story didn't just jump right into the Daddy play, instead we got to learn about the characters and their situation first. The story showed them exploring their needs and I liked that we got to explore those needs along with them instead of just jumping right into it. My only complaint is that I wish the Dd/lg relationship between them had stayed strong through the whole book. The ending kind of lost the hotness for me since it focused more on their outside relationship instead of their sexual one, but it wasn't a major thing that made me dislike the book.

Bottom line, if you're looking for an unusual and kinky book than you need to pick this one up. It's not your everyday smut and I think everyone should give it a try.Who knows, maybe you'll find you have a different kink.

5 Naïve Stars ⭐

Eighteen-year-old Laine Seabourne finds herself in a predicament when she is abandoned by her best friend on a night out.  In attempt to get home with no funds or phone she is fortunately rescued by a savior with genuine intentions.

When a much older Nick comes to Laine’s aid, he only intends to get her home safely.  When acknowledging that she is stranded, the plan is to offer her a haven for the night.

Laine is used to being alone.  Between a father long gone and a mother that is barely competent in looking after herself, Laine has spent most of her life getting by without assistance.  But the fact remains that she is young, vulnerable and ultimately naïve. This becomes quickly evident.

Realizing it is her birthday, an act of kindness on Nick’s part will radically change their life paths.  Neither yet understanding how perfectly compatible they are and how much they need each other.

“Make a wish,” he says.

And I do. It’s a stupid wish. A crazy wish. A wish I’ve been making every year for as long as I can remember.

“I wish, I wish upon a star. I wish for my daddy, wherever you are.”

With Laine now under Nick's care, it becomes clear that his need to control and protect is exactly what they need and crave. And Laine's overwhelming desire to be his 'good girl' is a perfect fit that only they understand and will need to fight for, regardless of how unorthodox.

"Daddy’s going to make you his, Laine. Daddy’s going to fuck you, and love you, and punish you when you’re bad. Daddy will take care of you, sweetheart. I’ll make it feel so nice when you’re good, and make it hurt so bad when you’re not."

Call Me Daddy will not be to everybody's liking as it is heavily focused towards a daddy/LG relationship. But who are we to judge what people enjoy if it's consensual? The fact remains, that Jade West is a queen when it comes to the erotic romance genre. Her stories are guaranteed to push you beyond your comfort zones, make you squirm in horniness and ultimately make you fall in love with her heroes even if it does feel pervy.

Laine Seaborne is an eighteen year old who always worked hard for the little she had in her life. While out celebrating her birthday, Laine is put in a precarious situation where she must fend again for herself until a stranger decides to intervene.

“How could I ever be scared of a man who saved me?”

Nick Lynch is a successful accountant comfortable with his brand of kink. Having given up on love some years ago, he’s chosen to maintain a private life but still needs to indulge his deviant side. When he meets a young blonde in trouble, he realizes this may be the opportunity he’s been waiting for.

“You’re such a good girl, Laine,” he tells me, and my heart lifts for him. “I’m going to take care of you. That’s what you want, isn’t it?”

Although they are from different worlds, Nick and Laine seem to ease into a quick friendship and forge a unique bond. Being a man of means, Nick is able to easily offer comfort, safety and necessities to Laine but it doesn’t undermine the kindness of his gestures or the deep pleasure he feels from taking care of her. For the first time, Laine feels secure, loved and also desired in a way she could never have imagined.

“I think you’re a dirty little girl.” I smile a dirty smile, and I can’t control the beast. I can’t fight the dark urges that want to consume her, soil her, corrupt her, break her and make her mine.”

“Call me Daddy,” I growl. “You can call me Daddy.”

While Laine was quite innocent sexually, she eagerly took to Nick’s Daddy kink and craved it as much as he did. Learning to be Daddy’s girl was very hot with Nick showing his mastery and Laine trying to please in every way.

“You have the prettiest little pussy, Laine. Daddy wants to see you all full up with his cum.”

This was my first foray in reading daddy kink and I knew Jade West would be the perfect author to pop my cherry! Her character portrayals felt grounded and dimensional and I liked how Nick gave Laine the space to mature into the woman she wanted to be. Getting to know Nick up close and personal was so hot and I was glad to see he was able to break his shell. Recognizing his own issues, Nick and Laine found a true balance between their love and didn’t compromise their sexual preferences either.

Call Me Daddy offers dirty, kinky fun but also offers a story about acceptance. For those curious about Daddy kink, I highly recommend Call Me Daddy!

My first book by Jade West has been quite an enjoyable and entertaining read for the weekend! Definitely hot (even though it got a little weird for me sometimes) and you'll like it if you enjoy Daddy play ;) Nick and Laine are sweet and sexy and I have to say I really enjoyed how Laine develops a stronger personality and how the story ended!

My book friends know I'm open to daddy kink. Unfortunately this one went to some uncomfortable places for me. Jane is barely legal, innocent lamb waiting for slaughter when saved in the Nick of time on a rainy night. Thus spawning this daddy Dom based love affair.

The Good:
1. On its face the sex scenes are very hot, and hit their mark.

2. it’s well written for pure book-porn. I was able to read this as a real story.

3. Most fans of Alexa Riley should love this.

4. I love the cover.

The Bad:
1. Focusing on the heroine's physical attributes seeming kind of pubescent made this very icky for me.

2. Centering the hero's kink on the death of his daughter is even creepier.

3. Having them mostly having sex in the dead daughter's room made this guy repulsive to me.

4. This whole book made me think this guy would rather be raping his little girl, and the heroine was just a poor substitute for what he really wanted.

Final Thoughts:
On its surface, this works as great spank material if you don't think too hard about it. Unfortunately I've been researching dark things in my real life that made it hard for me to let go, and enjoy the fantasy this was supposed to inspire.

From the title we know what to expect and it's everything you'd expect and a little more. Yes it's smut we know this going in and it's done so well but there's more here than I expected.
It opens with Laine celebrating her eighteenth birthday with her 'friend' Kelly Anne. Kelly Anne as usual has forgotten all about Laine who wasn't actually set for a night out, Kelly is drunk and off with some guy along with Laine's keys, purse and phone leaving Laine to find her own way home.
Nick is forty two and lonely, while his work life is a success he has no personal life at all but all this changes one night when a young girl runs towards him.
Circumstances put these two together and they both fill a huge gap in the others life. Laine is young yet old, she has no father and her mother is absent most of the time, she's raised herself and all she wants is someone to take care of her and love her.
Nick lost his family and he's been alone since, all he wants is a little girl to look after. Together these two work, they complete each other and while they're alone it's perfect but how will the outside world impact and affect their relationship.
This is without a doubt the best Daddy book I've read, it's hot, it's smutty and yet I really wanted these two to work.

Filthy and seriously kinky. Fortunately, I don't mind that at all and I was looking forward to this one.

If I'm honest, it wasn't all I was hoping for. Smut-wise it was a five, but it seemed a bit rushed and reminded me of an Alexa Riley read - heavy on the smut, light on the literary merit. After reading Teach me Dirty and Bang Gang by this author that somehow managed to combine some beautiful writing with intense, primal smut, I was hoping for more. It was good, but not great for me.

Complete story and available on ku.

This was an okay story. I wanted to read Call Me Daddy because I'm a fan of Jade West and I like to have my boundaries pushed. I'm not a squeamish person and this was definitely out of my comfort zone. The whole daddy theme was a little weird and I didn't feel anything sexual about it. I understood why Laine and Nick were drawn to one another and how they found comfort and solace in this game.

This was a very quick read and pace of this story was very fast when you compare this to West's previous books. I felt I needed more depth to the characters.
Jade West certainly knows how to write steamy scenes no matter the topic and scenes with Laine and Nick were definitely very interesting.

What I can take away from this story is a view into this world regarding daddy play. It was portrayed very authentic. I really liked how Jade West turned the story around towards the ending and made their relationship more believable and realistic.
Yes, I was warned before reading but my admiration for this author was what persuaded me to read Call Me Daddy. I'm definitely going to read her future books even though this wasn't a winner.

Soooo... one of my not-so-secret secrets is that I loooove daddy kink! When it's done well, when it's thoroughly dirty and nasty and freaky and a bit uncomfortable... LOVE IT!! After reading this review by SueBee, I knew I had to give this book a try. Jade West certainly didn't disappoint! Laine was an 18-year old girl who was on the brink of understanding her first steps into womanhood. On the night of her 18th birthday, she's ditched and left stranded in the rain, but luckily she's rescued by a good samaritan. Nick is out driving and happens to come across a damsel in distress. What neither of them expected was that this one night would lead them to everything they were looking for.

Were the characters well-developed? Not particularly, but I couldn't help but like them, kink and all.
Was the plot deep, evocative, or thought-provoking? Nope. Again, I didn't care because... kink.
Will I read from this author again? Abso-freaking-lutely! She gave me everything I could ask for. This book was as advertised!

4 Stars - Thoughtful, delightful cute and very tenderly sweet told daddy kink romance

Call Me Daddy is a sizzling erotic romance even with this strange, in my mind kind of odd and hard to understand (but also in some ways not), lifestyle. This is close to and to start with close to a dangerously near a no no topic. ...But it actually hooked me from first page. Surprised and a bit stunned.

**********************************************

Call Me Daddy could maybe be described as when "a young innocent Pink Babe Princess needs a win-win in a rescuing older Manly Prince with a fatherly style, and gets him". No fuss about both a big age difference and strong preferences for full "daddy" kink, but surprisingly romantic, safe and tenderly sweet. Beautifully told from the first page. Like being in a sugar-soft erotica cloud...

The heroine is the college student Laine Seabourne. A 18 years old girl who one night is rescued by an older good looking man. — Nick Lynch (...later called 'Daddy Nick') is a 42 years quite lonely buisness man. A man with a since long ago tragic loss.

Nick need someone to cuddle, to protect, to take care for and care about. Laine on the other side needs to be cared about. She is a girl from a broken home who's longing for love, tender thoughts, a nice home, a strong father figure and to be someone's nice "little girl". — We have a perfect match.
 photo IMG_2891_zps4ynyb4ob.jpg

”The Maculinea Arion is the largest and rarest of the blue English butterflies. Little, blue-eyed Laine reminds me of one – so beautiful in her fragility. So graceful and delicate. Such a rare delight. I tell her so, and her smile melts my heart.”

**********************************************

Wow, you never knew what you will be reading next
To be honest this basic storyline and topic is a bit out of my normal (prude) comfort zone. I'm surprised to say I actually enjoyed reading this one a lot. Not even any cringing or eye rolling. — Call Me Daddy will for sure raise questions about forbidden issues (...dark thoughts), but here it is so nice and tenderly told. — Two (nearly grownup) people gets what they sincerely want and it ends with the feel of dreamy smex, kink and a romantic saga.

Sincerely glad I dared to try. One time is maybe enough for me with the daddy-topic but this book, and it's tenderly nice storline written by Jade West, was a very good romance. Will not leave my head and heart for a while. — Recommended in the kink erotic genre. :)

**********************************************

I LIKE - to try & test myself sometimes

Like most of you the first time I read daddy kink I cringed. Hard! And to borrow a word from this book, it felt just plain icky.

Then something happened. Something unexpected. Upon trying a few more "Daddy" books, I... I.. actually really liked them.

Yes, we've established I'm a perv. No shame. (Why I feel the need to use an Yzma gif every time my perverseness is mentioned is a psychological issue for another day.)

I also found out that I have a fair few limits when it comes to this genre. I can't read 24/7 Daddy/little girl relationships. It's too much for me when the heroine behaves like a kid all the time. If it's just within the parameters of their sexy time then count me in. But if she, let's say sits on the floor and plays with her dolls in her spare time it's a big no from me. Also I draw the line on nappy changes and so on. That's not sexy people. At all!

description

What I really loved with this book is the fact that both the hero and the heroine discover their kink with each other. They are both vulnerable in their own way, both lonely, one needing to love and the other needing to be loved. They clicked. There's true character progression for both of them. And for a relatively short book and sort of insta-lovey their progression from beginning to end is really believable. Their ending and how they figured out how their relationship should work healthily was not only realistic but fitting to their situation.

Totally recommend for Daddy kink lovers and if you want to dip your toe in the genre this is a pretty good one to start with.

And because I can't help myself here's some Daddy gifs

3.5* who's your daddy STARS!!

Review @ Midnight Romance

I love kinky! Daddy/lg is one of my fave play and Jade West wrote this? A must read for me. I had high expectation about it but sadly, didn't work for me. Many elements missed from the couple. But it has happy ending and rainbow cake in the end.

Laine Seabourne (18-ish) is the most (un)lucky girl that night. She was left by her best friend in the middle of the night; alone stranded by herself with no phone and wallet. Almost raped because her own stupidity, a nice stranger came to help. Suddenly Nick Lynch (late 40s) has uneasy feeling to protect the girl. Young, blonde and innocent. His need to protect and nurture her are beyond as a 'helper'.

description

I'm conflicted with Laine. I liked her enough as a nice and smart girl. She's driven and very independent since her mother always went away; leave her with no one. I mentioned she's smart, right? In educational way. She has very shitty friend that I never like since from the beginning.

Came Nick with his shinning car and gentleman attitude. He took over her life in instant and started to develop feeling toward Laine. But Nick has hidden secrets that he's afraid of. He tried to be everything with Laine including the father she didn't have. That's where the kink came out.
“What? What do you like?”
She pauses, her eyes sparkling so beautifully, her pussy still clenching and glistening. “I like… everything… I want… I want to be good…”
“You’re going to be my good little dirty girl, are you?”
She nods. “I’ll be whatever you want me to be…”
Oh fuck.

description

A damsel in distress mixed with kinky Cinderella story. It didn't took long for them falling together. Insta-lust. Nick was super nice, but I still didn't get the feeling to love him. As naive as Laine, she fallen for him. Laine was a *cough*virgin*cough* and never masturbate even once. When Nick entered her life, she suddenly turns into sex siren. Laine seems has magical pussy, after all.
“Daddy’s feeling dirty right now, sweetheart. Daddy wants to take his little girl home and bury his cock in her pretty little cunt.”
“Good girl.” My balls tighten. “Make yourself nice and wet for Daddy. Tell him how it feels.”

description

They enjoyed their mundane life and spice with their Daddy/lg relationship. Loved the sex and dirty talk. Major turn-on. Also, I started to like Nick more when he didn't want to keep their relationship as a dirty secret. Well, it's dirty and not all people could understand it. In the end, they're worked out several dramas caused by Laine herself because she was beyond naive.

description

Sometimes, kinky people could back to be a vanilla. After all the sex, Laine seems to think it was role-play and it was disappointing. In the end, they lacked of intimacy and rushed into love. Overall, a (insta)love story between older man and young girl who found each other in kinkiness and love.

4 stars!

Well well this was so much better than I thought, wasn't sure how it would go since I don't think I ever read a daddy/little girl role play before. This was also my first book by this author.

"Call me daddy" was definitely taboo and kinky. When I started reading it I thought it was going to be about lots of sex, role play, you know just down and dirty and it was but at the same time it was so much more.

description

Laine, is eighteen and stranded by her friend in the middle of nowhere, she meets Nick, by chance when he helps her out of a bad situation. Right away they're attracted to each other. Laine ends up going home with Nick and so their taboo relationship starts. The whole daddy role play was sexy, I wasn't sure how I would feel but I enjoyed it. The sex was hot and Nick, such a dirty talker. But this story is so much more than just role play it's about two people who find each other and get into this kink that they both want, and need it.

description

Nick, has gone through some painful losses and Laine, has practically been abandon by her mom. They have this need and they try to fill this loneliness by their role play relationship. But circumstances makes them realize what being in love and knowing their boundaries really are. Loved both characters, their love was sincere and intense it didn't matter that it happened quickly I believe it and felt it. How their relationship is at the end was perfect.

I'm definitely checking out more books by this author. ❤

There are two types of “daddy” books:
1- daddy kink
2- daddy dom, little girl (DDLG) which features the woman acting like a little girl/child

I’m not trying to yuck anyone’s yum but I specifically and only enjoy reading type 1. This book turned out to be type 2, but I read it anyway because I kind of wanted to see how it played out.

DDLG books generally make me feel icky and are usually written like smut with subpar writing, so I wanted to see how it would be done by Jade West, whose writing style I actually like. Ultimately I still don’t get the DDLG kink/life and didn’t understand the characters/plot.

I guess for taboo/erotica you aren’t supposed to look too far into the problematic parts because it’s like picking at a loose thread. The book is meant to be taboo escapism. So take my review at face value because I guess I… can’t? The same thing happened when I read Love Unexpected by QB Tyler. I was just like… ok this dude is her stepdad so how’s it going to work?!

In this book, naive 18 year old Laine is abandoned by her friend after a night at the bar and is saved by 42 year old Nick. Laine is blonde and thin and ethereal and Nick takes her in, buys her new clothes, gets her a phone, and steps into a “parent” figure. Once again… maybe taboo books aren’t for me. Because I couldn’t get past these things:
-The actual practice of DDLG 24/7 and out in public, again not the books fault just not my thing
-Him shaving her so she looks like a “little girl”
-Weirdly grooming language and actions

Laine is attacked on her eighteenth birthday after her so-called best friend ditches her at a club. She is saved by Nick, a forty-something guy who just happens to be in the area. He takes her home, only to discover that it has been trashed because Laine has lost her keys, so it's obvious what should happen next: Nick steps in and offers to take her to his place for the night.

Only the night turns into a permanent situation for those two, as Nick assumes the role of care-giver / daddy for JaneLaine. We find out that Laine would love to be taken care of like a little girl and that Nick did have a little girl: Jane was some girl's daughter whom he saved from the street in the past. So she wasn't his daughter, but he loved her like one. This is where things got creepy for me.

He accommodates Laine into Jane's old room and treats her like a little girl. But can he really distinguish between those two types of love? Because he gave me the impression that he was a real weirdo. On the one hand, he says he loved Jane like a daughter, but then he tries to make Laine take her place and fucks her.

Here are some quotes about their sexual adventures:

44% - “I’m going to shave you,” I tell her. “Make you nice and smooth. Just right for licking.”
She nods, smiles back at me, her cheeks glowing. “Like a baby.”
Like a little girl.

52% - I flinch as the razor dips between my ass cheeks, and then I giggle for being so silly.

54%- “Give me your mouth, little Laine,” he says, and his hips push forward, the big, dark head of his cock aiming right for my lips. “Look at Daddy now. Keep looking at Daddy.”

69%- “No secrets, Laine,” he repeats. “Daddy wants to see.” “You want to watch me… pee?” I ask him, sure I must be wrong, but he nods.

85% - He takes the pack of sanitary pads from my collection of toiletries and tears one open.

Remember that scene from Fifty Shades?

The writing was decent (if you like a lot of telling, and not enough showing), but the creep factor was too high for me to really enjoy this story.

I have to say, I honestly cannot decide if I really enjoyed this, or was "icked" out by it.

I think I may have reached my comfort lvl with this book!

Ok, so I did enjoy it, and it is very well written, well developed characters. I just think I would have felt more comfortable if it had not been for the whole bedroom issue!

I felt more comfortable toward the end, when they had settled into a relationship some more.

But yeah, still not sure if it is my kink!
