Luke Meeting Juliet online was the last thing I expected. Sure, I've thought about life outside the military. Love. Romance. Maybe a family of my own one day. But internet dating from Afghanistan ain't easy. Joining the Navy SEALs was all I wanted to do. And it's been the best twelve years of my life. But the endless military ops have taken their toll. On my mind and, thanks to the Taliban, now my body. Juliet is one beautiful, sweet young woman. But I have to let her go. For her sake.

This book was a solid 4-star rating until the last 20% of the book when all the good stuff was literally flushed down the river in regards of my personal preferences.

Yet I loved this well-written, heart-warming and engaging story, addressing a sensitive subject like post-traumatic stress disorder. A love story entwined with a sensitively handled tale of survival and courage. A story about a former Navy SEAL battling his demons and his physical and mental wounds and finding salvation in the person of an extraordinary sweet and caring woman.
I enjoyed the way the author portrayed these two main characters Luke and Juliet, with depth and enough details to allow me to fully connect with both of them.

This was true until the hero behaves like a jerk. He then became the opposite of what I consider my ideal hero. Honestly it was all me and my preferences at fault here, but my pleasure has nevertheless been ruined.

That being said, I enjoyed the writing style of this author and will probably read another of her novels in the future, with the hope that next time, the hero will live up to my expectations until the very end.

I borrowed Irresistible SEAL ~ The Complete Set from Kindle Unlimited program.

Luke Carter, Navy SEAL is the hero in Irresistible SEAL that was divided into four sections for sale and also sold as a set. As the story progresses, you need to read them in order or they would not make sense.

Part 1: Luke and Juliet meet online while he is deployed.
Part 2: Luke is back in the Los Angeles area and puts off meeting Juliet until he can walk again.
Part 3: Juliet and Luke start a relationship until his PTSD gets the best of him.
Part 4: Juliet is fired; Luke gets a new job; Juliet's controlling Dad comes to California to bully her to move back to New York. Juliet's friend Jason finds a way to help both Luke and Juliet find what they found with each other in the first place for a happy ending.

I'm a big sucker for Navy SEAL romance books & this one surely didn't let me down!
Luke's been in the Navy for over 10 yrs as a SEAL & serving in Afghanistan. Lately he's been feeling lonely & wants to have someone waiting for him when he gets home, so he starts an online relationship & falls head over heals with Juliet. Juliet stumbles upon a military dating website & feeling lonely herself after living in LA & not knowing anybody, she decides to join & get herself somebody to chat to. Things heat up between them in the emails & then after suffering an injury Luke must come to LA for rehabilitation & Juliet is overjoyed to finally meet him in person as she developed feelings for him, but he refuses to see her until he's fully recovered. But he obviously didn't know Juliet, she won't be stopped...
This is definitely one book i can highly recommend!

I have received this Arc of the Irresistible Seal Box Set in exchange for a honest review!
I was consumed instantly by the characters in this series. From Luke fighting his demons from being in Afghanistan, to falling in love with Juliet. I just have to recommend that anyone who loves to read, get this series. Because it is definitely worth the time spent reading about Luke and Juliet's love story.

Book 1 - Luke is a Chief Petty Officer at Base Camp Bravo in Afghanistan. He and the Lieutenant are seemingly good friends. They have served together before and gone through training together before. There is an easy friendship between the two of them so far so as to give one another a hard time. The Lieutenant gives Luke a hard time about having joined a dating website for military members. Half way around the world, we find Juliet on the phone with her father, discussing his forcing her from Manhattan to Burbank for work. We can tell she is really angry with her father, but does she bury her head in the sand like an ostrich or does she stretch her wings and soar like an eagle? She is talking with her best friend back in Manhattan one night and after they get off the phone, she does a search for an article of clothing that she had seen someone else at work wearing that she really liked the look of the item. When she does an online search for it, what comes up for the search results? It truly is fun watching what Juliet deals with. Eventually she ends up on the military dating website as well and sends a message out to Luke. She's not sure he's real, or if he is who he says he is. How can she be sure? They're half way around the world from one another. Luke has his own things that he does not believe in that she's who she says she is, why? As they chat back and forth with one another through the website, what happens? What happens with Luke and his team when they track down a known terrorist that has taken control of a local area? How does Juliet keep track of what is going on in Afghanistan? What brings Luke back to the states?

Book 2 - When Luke returns to the states, he tells Juliet he needs some time before he can see her. Why? Where is he going to be? How long would it take for them to get to see one another? When Juliet bites the bullet at her co-worker (former Boss's) insistence and goes to see Luke, what happens? How long does it take before he seeks her out to apologize? What happens after he does? When they go on an actual date, where does she take him to begin with? What does he want to do, get out of the car or not? Juliet learns a lot about Navy SEALS before she even goes to see Luke the first time. What does she say that surprises him when they're on their first official date? Why does it surprise him? After his being stateside for a little bit, what change is made in his daily routine? When does Juliet meet Digger, Luke's Physical Therapist? What happens after that meeting? Where does Juliet take Luke? More to be revealed in book three.

Book 3 - Things with Luke get hard. He's struggling with nightmares and what happened to 'Spud' over in Afghanistan. He is seeing things during the day as well that are just turning him inside out. PTSD is what is sounds like he is going through and that's just a pain in the butt to have to think about dealing with. How many service men and women have PTSD? How many come home from deployment with it? Why do the men think they do not need help? Why do they need only heal their physical selves but not their mental selves as well? After getting mad at Juliet, and then the gym that he joined and was at the punching bag on, then the young man from the gym tracking him down to give him back his bag. He has to confront his demons and he clearly does not do a good job of it. The young man from the gym and Juliet say the same thing to him that day at two completely different times. That just causes him to storm out after walking in the door at 4 a.m. and keeping Juliet up and worried all night. After Luke walks out of her life, she gets sick. Is it the fact that she's not sleeping, and struggling to concentrate at work? Is it something more? Who knows. You're going to have to read this book to find out. While this whole series has an HEA to the ending, it does end a little abruptly. It was a good series of books to read. Enjoy it!

Luke is serving as a Seal in Afghanistan. He's been in the Navy for over a decade and has seen several tours oversees. He wants to start a relationship online so when he does go on leave, someone will be there for him to welcome him home. So when Juliet Morgan sends him an email, he's blown away by her beauty. Juliet stumbled upon the military dating website by pure accident. She was living in LA and not knowing a sole. She worked and then came home to nobody. She wanted to meet someone and she could at lease have a pen pal. But when the emails and dreams started to heat up, things changed and feelings formed. Then an incident occurred and Luke was coming back stateside with an injury. And he just happen to be in LA for rehabilitation. Juliet was excited that she was finally able to see Jake. She fell in love with him by correspondence. But he didn't want to see her until he was healed. However, that didn't stop Juliet. Their romance blossomed. But being in war, Luke was dealing with another issue that needed to be addressed. Tension rose and Luke blew up. Juliet was questioning everything and had her own dilemma to deal with her life.

I liked how Juliet wouldn't let his radio silence stop her from seeing Luke in rehab center. She also wanted to stand by him while he got better. Luke being a hardheaded alpha man didn't want her to seem him struggling. I understood where he was coming from that he didn't want to see his weakness. But that weakness is also a positive. Made him stronger. He asked for help. He wanted to be better for his Juliet.

Being in war, several things happen to a person. Enemy fire, constantly being on your toes, psychological issues and fear of death. It does a lot to military personnel. I give so much devotion to our military and sacrificing themselves to protect our country.

Irresistible SEAL is steamy, emotional and well written. Luke is an active Navy SEAL stationed in Afghanistan. Juliet is a newcomer to LA, banished there by her father to take a job with a sleazy Asian import company. They're both lonely and looking for some companionship and find each other online through MilitaryMates.com. They soon form a strong connection, but sometimes they have to go many days between messages, as Luke is on active duty in Afghanistan.

Luke gets seriously injured though, and is sent back to the US for physical therapy and recuperation. Fortunately for the two, he is sent to the VA's rehab facility in Burbank, very close to where Juliet lives. Unfortunately, he is suffering with PTSD, and needs a ton of physical therapy to get through before he feels good enough to meet Juliet in person. Their first meeting is less than what either ever thought it would be, but thankfully Juliet is determined to get through to Luke, and does just that.

I enjoyed Irresistible SEAL, the issue of PTSD is treated realistically and sensitively. It's not sensationalized or made to look sexy, because it's not. Juliet and Luke handle the way it affects their relationship the way any ordinary couple would, and it makes this series that much better.

I received an ARC for an honest review.

This story had such potential, but missed much.

The writing style was ok, but it seemed the character's name was used in every line of dialogue. In normal conversation, you don't address someone by name every time you speak. It was so prevalent, I couldn't not notice it.

Would I read more from this author? I don't think so.

Book 1: Luke is in Afghanistan with his SEAL team. Juliet sees Luke's profile on line on Military Mates.com. She writes to him and they share emails back and forth.I like the reality of the conflict that Luke faces overseas.
Book 2: Luke's team is ambushed in Afghanistan. He is sent home to heal from his injuries. I like the relationship that Luke has with his PT therapist. They have a good rapport to get through the difficult rehabilitation sessions. Juliet becomes closer in her relationship with Luke.
Book 3: Juliet and Luke deal with his injuries from Afghanistan. He also deals with the PTSD that has become part of his every waking hour. I like how the couple confront these difficult issues. This a gritty and steamy series that is not to be missed.

Very good! I loved the relationship between Juliet and Luke. I love this series! Juliet doesn't let Luke hid from what happened to him. Juliet gives Luke all the support that he needs to heal. Military men are so hot in a uniform. I couldn't put down the book until the end. This is definitely an one-click buy! Also a must read too!! Can't wait until I can read more from Amanda! I want to see more of them. See if everything is working out for them. Keep up the great work!!

*possible triggers for some: people with PTSD specially military*

Luke and Juliet meet over the internet, when he is in a terrible accident that sends him home early hes afraid to meet her until hes ready. Juliet is determined to meet her Seal at all costs. The first meeting doesnt go off quite as planned but once they get over the hiccup things heat up. But when the nightmares start plaguing Luke he cant help but run from the one thing that makes him happy. When Juliet gets surprising news will she be able to forgive luke or will she move on without him?

I loved this story. It was a very quick read but the chemistry between the two was intense from the beginning. they loved without thought but their emotions run true for what real people can go through especially when meeting someone online and dealing with someone with PTSD. Im glad though they could find their happy ending. another winner from amanda.

Great military romance

I liked how the author not only wrote about what Luke went through on the battlefield, but what happens after you get discharged. So many military books skip a lot of that detail. In order to understand why he reacts the way he does, knowing the back history helped. I did feel like they fell in love way too soon. Before then even met in person, come on. Overall I really enjoyed the storyline.

I read the first two books of this series as they came out and then lost track of the series. I was super excited to see it was finished and available in a series box set. I loved how Luke and Juliet meet. It was intesting reading a story that uses the modern way of meeting people, dating apps and the internet. I liked the fact that it was something different that most romance books don’t use as a method of meeting. Once they meet the sparks fly. We spend the entire series with life and the issues that haunt each of them getting in the way and threading to break them apart. But I am happy to say that even with the seemingly insurmountable obstacles thrown into the path of their relationship they find a way to make love win out over it all. The second book i particular takes a look at PTSD and the impact it can have on the people suffering it and the people in their lives. I have never personally been exposed to it but I appreciated the fact that this story tries to take the taboo away from the conversation. It is an important topic that needs discussion and understanding. Overall the story was a page turner that will keep you engaged and focused. I enjoyed this series and really connected with the characters of Luke and Juliet emotionally.

Luke joined the Navy when he was 18 quickly becoming a Seal and commands his own team. He joined an on line dating service Military Mates just for someone to talk to. Juliet moved to LA and she doesn't know anyone there. Going on line to do some shopping she was sent to an on line dating app, Military Mates. Deciding to look through she found a picture of Luke.and decided to send him a message. They corresponded when he able and they were slowly falling in love, but knew the chances of ever meeting were almost nil. Then Luke gets hurt and sent to a military rehab in LA 15 minutes from Juliet. This is an emotional wonderfully written book that deals with a man that has spent ll his adult life in the military fighting in Afghanistan and is suddenly sent home due to injuries. He is having a hard time dealing with night mares and suffering from PTSD but thinking him self weak for having them. A young woman is trying show her love and support by trying to help him heal, but is it enough. I loved this book.

This is all four novellas about Luke and Juliet in one place.

1 Luke has been a Seal for 12 years, but he is starting to feel that he wants a relationship and a family. Juliet is an accountant who is working in a boring job in Burbank as a favour for her father. She copes with the boredom by online shopping, and one day she accidentally ends up on an online dating site. She starts messaging with Luke, but can their relationship get anywhere? Luke is injured and flown home, but will he meet up with Juliet?
2 Luke has been sent home injured, but he doesn't know that he wants Juliet to see him like this. Is she going to let him ignore her, or will she fight to make their relationship work?
3 Luke is living with Juliet, but his PTSD is causing them problems. How are they going to work through their problems?
4 Juliet’s father has decided he isn’t happy with what she is doing with her life and he wants her back in New York. What effect will this have on her relationship with Luke?

I was enjoying the romantic and real relationship between Juliet and Luke. I loved their instant connection and the way Juliet was able to help him with his disability and with his PTSD. She really cared for him.
When he leaves her and she finds out about the pregnancy. I loved that the author had them resolving their issues and deciding to be together as a family.
It started to fall apart for me when Luke starts to be tempted by Katie. It reeked of cheating. I also hated the way Juliet never really stood up to her father, and the fact that Luke goes into the dressing room alone with Katie even though he knew Jason was acting as his wingman with Juliet. The fact that they never really discus this, and decide to talk about it after the honeymoon, and then ending the book there, had me feeling a bit cheated.

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this story about Luke and Juliet. He's a Navy Seal currently in Afghanistan, serving another tour. Bored he decides to update his military mates dating site. Juliet is a young woman who's her father forced to go to California to work, since she made his new younger girlfriend uncomfortable. She's bored and looking for a hat, when she tries to enter the search data, she ends up getting more than she bargained. An ad pops up for military mates site, and when she sees Luke's profile, she sets up an account and emails him. They talk to a while then Luke has an accident. The four stories are about how he deals with his recovery, her attempts at getting him heal and how their relationship develops. They see highs and lows from walking with slight limp, pregnancy to getting fired to every fears almost messing everything up. Great read.

Two lonely people looking for love actually get more than they bargained for. These two have a beautiful and sad beginning. There’s no denying their attraction towards each other is SIZZLING!
Outstanding sex doesn’t make a relationship. Neither does intense PTSD. Will these to survive the therapy that he needs but doesn’t want? I didn’t care for his thoughts and flirting with Katie and that he made Juliet feel like she was a little crazy for thinking badly about what she saw. In my mind, in that moment, it made Luke a little less special of a man. I did love the last couple of chapters. Luke redeemed himself a little at the end.

The story had loads of steam! I could never quite figure out Jason though. He was like a best friend, then not but maybe again. All in all it was a smooth, sexy read with a few bumps in the road. I look forward to future books by this author.

Almost four stars. This review is for all four of the books in this series. I had previously read book one, but felt it was incomplete. I reread it in addition to the rest of the set. I liked the characters of Juliet and Luke and feel like it would have been good to have more of their histories as part of the story and less of the drama between sex scenes. I enjoyed some parts of the story, mostly books one and two. It felt as if there was a certain amount of the story added just to make for a certain amount of words/pages. Some parts were meaningless in terms of the overall story and left me wondering why they were included. This is good if you are looking for something to read but not too high on my wish list.

I received this box set with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this set we get all 4 books in this series. If you are looking for an alpha male who know not only how to fight for what he wants as well as for the woman he believes is his. Then this is the set for you. Each of these book is full of action romance and scenes that will have you looking for something to cool yourself down with.

There is so much I want to tell you about each of these stories. However I don't want to ruin it for any other readers. I will say these books will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. This is the type of series that will have you unable to put it down until you have read every last one of them. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

I received this book for Free to Give My True & Honest Review

How I loved this boxset & I'm so glad I got to read all in one go as I would've got anxious about what'll happen next with them.
And what a way to meet after having a few interesting emails through a dating app whilst Chief Petty Officer Luke Carter was on tour in Afghan, when lonely Juliette Morgan who'd not long moved to L.A. came across the site & Luke's profile & that was the start of their connection. And it ONLY became stronger & more intense when Luke had to go to L.A. for rehabilitation & this is where we see how things go up & down a few times for a matter of different reasons until he asks the 1 friend whom Juliette has there her ex boss Jason.
Loved it 💖

I loved reading all about Luke and Juliet's story. Each book is its own set of events but also is a continuation of the ever evolving relationship that Luke and Juliet set to achieve. Now as with life, in these books not all is sunshine and rainbows. These books will both make your heart soar as well as break it along the way. This was a great series and I am so thankful that all books were published so that I could read them back to back without delay. Military stories are bittersweet in my eyes and are truly a treat to read. I love seeing the veteran get their HEA as well as it is a heartbreaking reminder of the things that our men and women live through as they commit to a life of service. A really good read.

Juliet and Luke meet using a dating app. Things are looking good but then Luke starts pushing her away. Luke has ptsd and its making him struggle and its why he pushing Juliet away. When he starts getting treated for it he sees how wrong he was. But will he be able to right his mistake? They struggle to find their way back to one another and it seems to be going well. However their relationship is like a rollercoaster with the ups and downs. Will they be able to finally make it work to stay together?

This is a great series once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

This is a collection of all the books in the Irresistible Seal Series in one easy to read place at a wonderful price! Book 1 starts out as we meet Juliet and Luke who become pen pals while he is stationed overseas. While they hope to meet "one day" their relationship seems to blossom as they pour out their thoughts through their e-mails. The first book ends in an emotional cliffhanger but thank goodness, Books 2, 3 and 4 are readily accessible to get you through the ups and downs of their relationship.

This is a really good romance without a villain if you don't count extreme fatherly dictatorship as a villain... The storyline is good, the characters are good, the settings are good and descriptive and overall the story is simply there, on the point! I loved reading all four stories consecutively as I really don't like having to wait for a month or more between stories and normally I prefer just one book but it is fine when they come all together in a box set. And I loved reading these here.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Woah this just breaks your heart over and over.
Two souls destined for each other but have to go through so much to get there.
Poor Luke, he had to overcome so much.
He's just lucky that Juliet is such a strong person and not willing to give up on him.
Sometimes you wonder though whether this is it, then one of them will own up and they smooth things out.
My gosh this story puts you on a roller coaster but I found it so consuming.
I just had to turn the page, I just had to know what came next.
Thanks to the author for a great read!

A seal a girl and a website hmmmmmm a recipe for love?

A hum in the air between two. It rides thru list to gain a life together. A councilor that gives life back to an injured seal. A friend or two thrown in for good measure this set of books is a brief look Into not only love but the lives of our soldiers that co e home wounded and broken. Not all soldiers have someone to lean on and support them. Read these books so someone may be helped one day. Thanks, Debbie
