About the author

Ed Brubaker (born November 17, 1966) is an Eisner Award-winning American cartoonist and writer. He was born at the National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda, Maryland.

Brubaker is best known for his work as a comic book writer on such titles as Batman, Daredevil, Captain America, Iron Fist, Catwoman, Gotham Central and Uncanny X-Men. In more recent years, he has focused solely on creator-owned titles for Image Comics, such as Fatale, Criminal, Velvet and Kill or Be Killed.

In 2016, Brubaker ventured into television, joining the writing staff of the HBO series Westworld.

Hehe finished this today. First time I finish a comic in the same day since I got addicted to another game in a row lol
My opinion is still the same, this is must read X-men graphic novel, and it's one of the few best ever made along with Children of the Atom by Joe Casey and God Loves Man Kills by Chris Claremont.

I didn't expect this from Brubaker which probably made me more impressed. A friend of mine I won't mention your name @Baba said he didn't remember Brubaker's entire run so I thought everything X-men by Brubaker would be forgettable.
This is just epic rewriting of one of the most important stories in the history of the X-men. Just masterfully done.

I won't talk much about the events, but I am very confused by the identity of the guy with the white hair in the funeral at the end of this story.
Quicksilver is rogue he can't be at this funeral.
The gay Canedian mutant is dead so this can't be him either.
So who could it be? My memory is pretty much empty of other white haired mutants at this moment.

Also one final comment, I think this is the most heinous thing Xavier ever did, and the dude was Onslaught at one point.
He deserves to be kicked out of his own school. Remember he willingly left it and went to the middle of nowhere to Genosha and abandoned his students once before. Now after he did this, he expects them to take him back? A bloody joke.

Un finale che non mi aspettavo sinceramente. È decisamente intenso il modo in cui Scott se la prende con Charles anche se capisco che Xavier ha fatto delle cose... non proprio bellissime. Mi chiedo solo perché nei film della Fox non abbiano dato più luce a Darwin, più leggo fumetti in cui appare e più mi rendo conto di quanto cazzo sia figo il suo potere. Mi vien quasi da dire che è più potente del fattore rigenerante.

Wow, muy buen cierre, se atan todos los cabos. Finalmente se muestra lo que le ocurrió al equipo de rescate conformado por Vulcano, Dominio, Petra y Darwin en Krakoa. Y cómo fue que Vulcano llegó al espacio y comenzó todo este asunto. Otra cosa: todo lo malo en este mundo siempre ocurre porque Xavier no puede dejar de joder con los recuerdos y la mente de la gente. ¿Cuándo va a aprender?

Nomor penutup dari miniseri Deadly Genesis. Nasib Summers bersaudara ditentukan di sini. Apakah Scott dan Alex akan menerima Gabrielle sebagai adik mereka setelah mutan itu jelas-jelas melakukan tindakan kriminal, membunuh Banshee, dan membahayakan Xavier? Apakah juga Xavier akan dimaafkan dan diterima kembali di Institut meskipun ia bukan lagi seorang mutan?
