🎵Changing my stars from 2 and rounding up to 3.

One of those times where GR's 2 stars 'it was ok' pretty much says it to perfection.
Very short. A bit odd. About 2 typo/editing errors.
A woman traveling through Spain by herself in a camper with 2 rescued dogs and apparently has issues with getting close to anyone.
Oh, there is sex. But, that part is, well.... 'it was ok'.
This is apparently book 1, but should be called episode 1.
For this type of story it wasn't written badly, it just wasn't really a story either. If I ever read episode... I mean book 2, I may edit this review. Don't hold your breath though.

📕🎵3/17/19 'Eating My Words'!
I think this was the 1st Simone Leigh book I read. Since that time I have read quite a few of her 'Coffee Break' episodes/parts/stories.
While this one remains one of my least favorites, I have to admit she has managed to convert me. Her stories have seduced me and made me a fan of her little debauched tales.

Erotic fiction that has no real plot or subplot. It is the first of a series but it leaves a lot of background left empty. Hopefully the next book has more substance than sex. Even a reader of erotic literature wants a halfway decent plot.

This short tells of a one-night stand in rural Spain as a tourist blogger meets a cyclist doing the medieval monastery trail. I like the location descriptions, but really nothing else happens. The couple don't use contraception and the lady we follow seems to just treat the man as a sex object, though I suppose we could say it's time to turn the tables. This is an adult romance.

This is an unbiased review.

The heroine, Anna, is a strong and independent woman, a writer/travel blogger from England. Recovering from an abusive marriage, she takes off for an extended stay in Spain, travelling from village to village in her camper, working remotely. She has her 2 dogs for company and security. She stays in picturesque beach towns, visits ancient plazas, meets fascinating people, locals, tourists, and some very attractive men. One in particular, lovely, palpitation-worthy Cristofer, wants to offer more than a one-night stand. One day, though, she's shocked and frightened when she runs into her sociopathic ex. Is he stalking her? How did he find her? And how can she make it clear that she wants him to stay away from her permanently? With the way he kept showing up after that, my stomach was twisted in knots for the heroine. Nevertheless, the story ended happily! Loved the characters, and Simone's beautiful story. It is made of up 5 novella length parts. I loved how the author portrayed the enchanting ambience of the mountainous Spanish coast region. I want to go there now and peek into local cafes, and ramble the mountainous roads. Maybe I'll find Anna and Cristofer!

This is a short story, and it is more like a scene or, better yet, a chapter. It describes a day in the life of a blog and book writer by the name of Anna, who travels around the world writing about the places she has seen and the people she has met, and she has met a man who is on vacation and cycling a tourist route with his buddies. She knows she needs a man for a night or two, and this cyclist, with his toned body that goes by Cristofer, will fit the bill nicely.

This short read seems like it is just enough to get your motor running because it does have erotica and just a bit of romance. Then again, who says a woman can’t act like a man? Yeah, it does suck to be used and tossed aside. More power to the heroine Anna for getting what she wants without the strings accompanying it, but there is a hint of backstory that makes me think that this character will be expanded upon.

I give this starter read five stars out of five stars.

Freedom

Freedom from her ex. Freedom to move around. Freedom to see and enjoy different lovers. Freedom to stay or go.. I've read the whole series already but for some reason the series came back to the middle of Book One. And I didn't give a review the first time so here it is. Four stars because the books are short then ads for the big, big series Simone wrote and I have read the series Buying the Virgin, excuse me if it's not the correct title because I was lost even with the guide so I bought the boxed set and that was a very good decision. That way I read the series in order. There were a few books still out there but I'll get to them. Thank you Simone again and again and again.

I really enjoyed this short story. It brought me back to my time in Spain. This is the first book in the Call of the Wild series. I haven't read the rest of the books yet, but I found the storyline introduced in Book One very promising.

What twist from what I've been reading. Kinky, sluty but love strong women who know what they want and live with that drive. We are as equal as men so why can't we do what we want to! Almost made me feel sorry for the cyclist, lol

brief part of story

I was disappointed in how short the book was. Got into the story, dropped a few nuggets of what may come and ended it. I’m find it somewhat rude to leave readers with a cliff hanger.

Ana is a divorced woman, living and travelling on her own through Spain. She has a blog and writes books about her travels and loves her life. Or does she. Till she met Christof she thought so, but then, her ex-husband has taught her that she does not want to be owned. She doesn't give much lea-way to any other man. The sex scenes are hot, the writing is smooth and the characters, including the side characters work together well.
