Despite being published in 2002, this book tells a shockingly relevant story of Canada as an energy nation in a time of climate change. Laird weaves together stories from across Canada that demonstrate the many layers involved in responsible energy production and consumption. I enjoyed his unbiased approach, and sense of understanding and caring for both workers and the environment.
