I don't think I am eligible to review the writings of Justice Mufti Mohammad Taqi Usmani Saab.
However, with respect to the content and the language I can only say that this is a must read for the all the students of Quran. The sciences involved in the Quranic text are explained clearly in this writing. This made me clear few doubts I had earlier and also incited a feeling in me to explore further. Like a good teacher he explains the good points and very humbly accepts where the shortcomings/lacking could be in this book.
This is quite possibly the most exhaustive treatment of the general sciences related to the Qur'an in the English language. Mufti Taqi has an amazing ability to make classical scholarship accessible to his audience. He also makes it a point to address the most prevalent modern misunderstandings and polemic against the Qur'an. It should be on every English-speaking person's bookshelf who is interested in the subject.
