Esther did not have a typical queen's backstory. She was an orphan, living in a strange land with her kind cousin Mordecai. The world overlooked her potential. But God did not.
Esther became queen and overcame unbelievable circumstances all because of a single truth; a truth that applies to us as God has chosen us for this moment.
Chosen with Esther was written to help you discover and live out your calling. Over the course of 20 days you will learn, as Esther did, how to walk bravely towards the adventures God has for you.
Every part of you was made with purpose, so that you could accomplish what no one else ever could. Answer the call today and start living out your chosenness with Esther!

I loved this, but then again I love the story of Esther anyway, so this book breaks down the book of Esther so you can concentrate on alittle bit at a time.
As I’ve been going through the books available to read about Esther here on Amazon, I feel this one is an easy to read and inspirational devotion to bring encouragement to whatever you are going through. Esther may not have felt worthy, but God chose her “for such a time” as her people were being persecuted. I encourage you to seek God and ask Him, “what has He called you to do in “your time for your people?”
I thought this book to be very enlightening. The way it was presented, gave me a new outlook on how our actions can influence others. Truly introduces a different way of looking at your present circumstances and consider how your actions or response can effect others. I would give it 5 stars.
David Ramos has a gift in applying God's truth to our everyday life. I have enjoyed the character studies he has done. Esther is very applicable today as we navigate a world of pandemic, quarantine, and unrest. God has placed us here at this time and in this place to fulfill His purposes. We must trust Him and walk in His ways.
I really like this devotionnal it leads you through each chapter of the book of Esther and allows you to see the story with new eyes and see our God can turn out situation in your favor and reveal you your purpose.
I usually have trouble reading the Old Testament, but this devotional helped me tremendously. I have read other devotionals by David Ramos and learned a great deal from them. I highly recommend this devotional!!
I was looking for a good devotional to go with my study of Esther. I read all the way through this, but it was pretty shallow. This was a bit like attending a class for new believers. If you've never read or studied Esther, there s might have real nuggets of meaning for you. For me, though, it was only meh.
Chosen with Esther met me at the right time in my life when I was questioning my purpose and calling. Whatever image you might have of the story of Esther, I suggest you lay it aside and engage in this 20 day devotional. It will start shaping a whole new perspective on the characters and the situations and place God in the left, right and center of the Book that doesn't even mention the word God!
David, as usual, beautifully breaks down the characters in the story and provides takeaways from both the heroes and the rivals. God uses even our rivals to teach us valuable lessons and we have quite a handful of lessons here that we need to ponder.
Esther is chosen to be the replacement queen and later on prays and plans the movement to bring freedom to the Jews. We all have a purpose and we need to let God in, so He can expose us the purposes He has for us and this book was a great reminder and encouragement for me to understand that truth.
"When we have expended every ounce of our energy and hope, purpose is what comes in and refuels our tanks." ~ David Ramos
I encourage you to read this devotional and learn the truths about God's purpose and calling in your life.
God is in control and Chosen with Esther shows us this without mentioning God's name. Reading this book helps me see how God has a plan for our lives. I need to dig deeper into the Bible to see how God is active in our lives.
