This was a great series! My first time reading a Alexis Abbott book and it was a great introduction to her. I won't review each book individually cause honestly that's to much writing even for me lol but, they all had slight similarities and all were equally good.

This series was a real page turner and I loved the fact that all but 1 book from the series was included.

Owned by the Hitman-
Full of surprises on every chapter. Katy lost her dad, he was murdered, and left her a dance club called The Amber Room. It's a smuggling business but the monthly protection costs to the Russian Mob is a real killer. Her dues are due ant these guys will even beat up a woman to get their way. But her rescuer that comes storming back into her life is non other the one night stud she slept with months prior, and is also the Russian's own hitman Ivan. To save her Ivan gives Katy and offer she couldn't refuse, really, either continues paying the money she didn't have or be his for a year for all his wimps and desires, or sex slave. Will she make the right choice or the wrong choice.

Sold to the Hitman-
Okay started out good, next chapter I feel like this girl was born in the wrong time period, like the 50s not modern day, with the perfect obedient "Yes Mother" and the lessons this girl was taught it's to cult like.... men are power while their wives are modest but have to be beautiful and pure. Sorry but telling a girl when lighting hits the ground it's accounting for a number of sin being made. Pulling out a chair for her father, that's just...please let me get through it before I strangle my kindle with this prim and proper b.s.. No wonder I hated her parents from the start, they are the lowest grade of humankind there is to sell their just turned 18, virgin, in an auction for the highest bidder to get a girl train and break with one condition, a marriage.
After I got past my hatred for her parents and for a coldblooded murder that has recently investigating his hits to see if they are truly innocent or ounces that are evil and needs to be put down. This story got much better especially when Andrei is changing innocent Cassie's life and showing her the real world not what her parents tell her it's sinfully like. Andrei and Cassie might been strangers when they first met and at their wedding but that night and afterwards their chemistry was so in turned with each other it was wonderful. It a great HEA story.

Saved by the Hitman-
It was a good story but I just couldn't get into it. I won't talk about it but let you read it and decide for yourself.

Captured by the Hitman-
First thing I got to say is this takes part about the same time table as Saved by the Outlaw with Leon- Mikhail's brother....
Mikhail is one scary Whitman, no one wants to mess with him and when he takes on a -ridicules- contract he does leave one thing alive, Alicia, she was so drugged up she didn't almost remember what happen the night of the hit. Mikhail was doing a lot of trying to push her away but couldn't let her go, no matter what came up. It was an interesting story.

Stolen from the Hitman-
As does the other Hitmen parts in this series, you'll not be disappointed. Action packed, drama and hot, never a dull moment and kept my attention from start to finish. Plus we'll get to see some familiar faces/names from previous stories in this series. Told in both p.o.v. and a HEA.

Hostage of the Hitman-
I started out not liking Delaney with her spoiledness but afterwards she revealed her inner self. She went from chubby book nerd to spoiled rich princess just to get a boy attention. She had to face the challenge of being kidnapped and not become whiney.
Darios has made a living as a hit man but mostly as a kidnapper of American rich girls and ransom them back to their families. He and his groups selected Delaney and her friends as targets but he never thought the rich American would kidnap his heart. What they will face together will test their faith in each other and their love.
I like the story but I didn't connect with it like the other stories I've read from A. Abbott.

Taken by the Hitman-
Trafficking will be cleaned out by the Bull. That's all I'll say or it will be something that'll be a spoiler.

I love, love this series.....all of the books. And I absolutely adore all the alpha men, they are all bad asses who pamper their women, who in the hell wouldn't love that. Not going to lie, I have my favorites....uh, dibs on Andrei from Sold To The Hitman, he is all mine and not sharing this one *winks*. Each book is unique n its own way with all the characters being unique, you get a nice mux throughout the books. I wrote out my review by book, hope you enjoy this series as much as I did.

Sold To The Hitman
Dibs on Andrei. I want to start out by saying if I was sold, I would really, really want Andrei to buy me. With that being said, I always love Alexis Abbott's male characters and Andrei is no exception. I love that he is gentle and a protective alpha male. Something so refreshing about a man that is a manly man but can be thoughtful too...instead of being the stereotypical man with no morals. Cassie was sweet and adorable...the light for him, but she still was not a push over. I loved the storyline from beginning to end. And their personal story was sweet & spicy, a really great love story. Great book all around. If you like the sweet bad boy...then this is the book for you.

Captive Of The Hitman
Really liked this book and story line. As always Alexis writes dreamy book boyfriend chatacters and Mikhail does not dissappoint. He is a big, alpha tough guy....which are my favorite kind. He has a large "hit" to do on some bad guys, but he spares Alicia and takes her with him. These 2 have off the charts chemistry. I love that Alicia is pretty tough too when she needs to be, no cliche damsel in distress. These 2 were so in sync that by the end they were a scorching duo. And I love that there was an epilogue, so that we got to see what these 2 explosive characters were up to. Great book.

Taken By The Hitman
Personally, I loved this book. Rosie's dad is a gambling alcoholic and she is basically raising her twin sisters by herself since her mothers untimely death. Konstantin is brought over to run this area of the mafia. Konstantin and Rosie are forced together at gunpoint..I know, I know not very romantic, hence the dark romance. Anyway, since Alexis really writes great alpha males and Konstantin is no exception, this scene in the book turns out to be a hell of a lot better than it could have been. Konstantin is so sweet, thoughtful and supportive during the entire book. I adore him. And of course Alexis was so thoughtful to grace us with one of my all time favorite mafia men...Andrei (already called dibs on him), which I loved and thank her for that. This story is so damn good with Konstantin and Andrei working together to shut down the slave trade business and saving many young girls...seriously, swoon. Gosh I love these two, they are like a dream double duo of hot ass alpha men. Anyway, I digress.
Rosie is pretty tough and kick ass herself, which is one of the reasons she is perfect for my Konstantin....see what I did there....dibs, I am selfish that way:). Loved this book, great writing and as always great characters. Already excited to read the next book in this series.

Stolen From The Hitman
Wow...so where to begin. I loved this story line, it was a little bit different than her normal books in that I love how she took you through the character backgrounds a bit before they actually meet. I didn't really feel this was the traditional romance story, they really don't get together right away. It was really a step by step of before they meet and then all the events afterward.
I really like both characters....of course I always like her male characters and he was no exception. A tough alpha male that can protect you no matter what. She was a very sweet but tough girl, which I also really liked. She was small but mighty.....maybe a female mighty mouse.
This was just a strong story through and though. All of the events....fast paced and will have you not wanting to put it down. Different than her norm but no less effective.

Hostage Of The Hitman
These 2 had explosive chemistry.....explosive and intense are the best words to describe this couple....wwwwooooooowwwwww.
So, Delaney is a wealthy 18 year old....basically a pampered daddy's princess, who had the brilliant idea of going overseas with some "so-called" (1 is a hooker friend that should never be forgiven, worst friend ever....just sayin) friends to have some fun before meeting up with her parents. Parents that have no idea that she is doing this....hence the pampered daddy's princess. Delaney ia actually a very strong willed and intelligent young lady that has figured out how to play the beautiful, blonde airhead to control and manipulate the people around her....not gonna lie, I loved this about her. Very smart girl that is able to get any and everything she wants.
Her and her friends get there and immediately meet a gorgeous guy that invites them to a party. Apparently just a party for them, so that the men can kidnap them and ransom them back to their wealthy parents. I know, I know....not romantic, but when there is a great writer involved....it can be:). Enter in Darios, the handsome head of the kidnappers, who works for the mafia. I know, I know....you're still not convinced. He can be charming, but his strength lies in the fact that he is the alpha of the alphas....yeah, he is that guy.....people just want to submit to him and Delaney is not the exception.
With these 2 it was a battle of the wills....basically 2 alphas going head to head, I freaking loved it. You knew when these 2 got together it would be explosive and they definitely did not disappoint......bang, like an explosion going off. I always love the hitman stories and I have had a few favorites, but this couple together was my favorite of all her couples.....Hot. As. Hell.
I loved seeing Delaney become the girl she was always trying to hide and being the woman that Darios needed.....the submissive to his dominant. But make no mistake....she was only submissive to him and only in the bedroom. She was a take no crap woman for sure. Great book and story line. And great explosive couple. My favorite Alexis Abbott book to date.

Jump in with both feet…..5stars!

Highly recommend this box set that will introduce you to Alexis Abbott’s Hitman stories. I’ve read a lot of hitman/assassin stories, and Ms. Abbott writes it “like a Boss”: each well written story has solid plot filled with tension, anticipation, and action. And, a love story with a strong hero and heroine that compliment each other in every way, there’s smexy goodness, and emotional feels. You’ll swoon over how protective those alpha, dominant men feel about their women. To be sure, you’ll be left craving more. Here are my reviews for the following:

Owned By The Hitman:
Hopeful And Sigh-Worthy..5stars!

It’s been three months since Katy’s laid eyes on Mr. Tall, Dark, and Sexy with the very enticing accent. He walked into her club, strode directly to Katy, and practically seduced her right there in the middle of the dance floor. That one night she allowed herself to enjoy sexual pleasure, a much deserved night off away from the the crushing responsibility of owning a club. Katy can’t forget the one man who exudes power and a commanding presence, the one who owned her for one night.

Since the death of her father, Katy runs the club she’s inherited from her dad, Amber Room, barely scraping by to keep it open. Problem is, the club is mafia-owned and she’s come up short on the protection money. The three thugs sent to collect come with a warning threat, and Katy’s scrambling to find every bit of cash from her belongings. Ivan shows up, sexy as ever, and offers her a deal she can’t refuse. Just her luck he happens to be her sex-on-a-stick one night stand, and to her horror, a Russian mafia hitman whose position in the organization is powerful. His deal: be his sex slave for a year. Oh yeah, she’s owned by the hitman for a year in lieu of payoff money to the mob. But how bad can it be when she’s screaming from orgasms, and not from pain of death? And, he offers his hard, muscled body for personal protection. Dayum !!

Owned By The Hitman is written in alternating POVs, though most of the narrative is told in Katy’s words. Ms. Abbott does an excellent job of presenting the following months as a series of vignettes they spend together as highlighted on New Year’s Eve, Valentine’s Day, and St. Patrick’s Day. At first, I was jarred out of the story, thinking I may have missed some pages, because initially I didn’t sense how much time lapsed from the point she accepted the deal and New Year’s Eve. But thinking about it, it actually works very nicely, since Ivan sets up these “surprises dates” you get a sense of who he really is. Ivan is not what he seems. He’s tough and dangerous, but with Katy he is attentive and caring, very much the gentleman. Each date we see the growing attraction between Ivan and Katy changing into something deeper as they learn more about each other. When we get Ivan’s POV it’s when he is on a hit, and surprisingly he describes his disgust for the bad guys. Those chapters I found intriguing because Ivan’s words reveal that he has rules and morals which guide him. Wow, that kind of made him a hero in my eyes. He doesn’t deny the bad stuff he’s done, but he can never share the dark with Katy. For him, Katy is light to his dark, the warmth of home he yearns for, and I think for both, a little less lonesome

I really enjoyed this story, it was well thought out, the pacing was perfect, and the engaging narrative grabbed me from the beginning until the end. Katy and Ivan are well developed and believable. A protective alpha male and strong female lead is always a winning combination, and don’t forget the sizzling sex, yes, it’s hot. Enough to satisfy my inner bad girl. And she likes it plenty steamy. There’s twist in the plot line that I did not see coming; and my favorite is the absolutely romantic and sigh-worthy ending. All in all, a very entertaining read and one that I recommend. Great job, Ms. Abbott.

Sold to The Hitman:
A Hit! 4.5 stars!

Once again, Ms. Abbott, gives us a gentleman hitman. I adore how she writes her rough, and gruff Russian mafia hitman, thoroughly dangerous and lethal with integrity, and smitten by his heroine.

Andrei Petrov rescues Cassie Meadows, as she’s paraded with other girls in front of old men who buy the girls for their nefarious deeds. Andrei can’t get over Cassie’s innocence and her terror-stricken face on the stage. He outbids the highest offer to win her for himself. And the only way to keep her safe is to marry her.

Just as she turns 18, Cassie is unaware of her parent’s betrayal selling her to pay for her father’s debts. Her sheltered life, captive in many ways, is torn apart as she knows it. And although Andrei is a total stranger Cassie sees his intentions are honorable and that safety is his concern. As they spend time together, each know the attraction is much more and they grow to love each other.

Sold To The Hitman is written in alternating POVs and I couldn’t put it down. It is a well thought out plot, nicely defined characters with lots of sexy steaminess, and suspense. Although I didn’t like the religious descriptions, it worked in this story because Cassie’s strict church upbringing was underlined by the twisted ugliness of her outwardly pious family values. Great job, Ms. Abbot. Lovely conclusion and epilogue to round out the story in a satisfying and romantic ending.

Incredible set of men who may be bad; but also oh so good!!

1. Sold to the Hitman - Innocence meets brutal killer, a touching read!!
Cassie is raised in a very sheltered environment, home-schooled, plain clothes, ever obedient. Until her parents send her to be sold to the highest bidder. Andrei is there as security only, but when he sees this innocent beauty he is compelled to rescue her. The only stipulation is the highest bidder must also marry her.
Cassie has never even been outside her small town, never shopped, never worn makeup, and never allowed an opinion. Andrei kills for a living, but allows the relationship with Cassie to bloom slowly, and opens her eyes to all the world can offer. It is a touching story as Cassie comes into her own, and a new side of Andrei is revealed. Unfortunately when you live in his world, there are people who will always try to take what it yours….

2. Saved by the Hitman - Excellent read; sometimes the ‘bad guys” are all good!
Cherry leaves her job in NY to return to her home town to look into her father’s death. She had intended to be an investigative reporter, but has been writing fluff pieces to pay the bills. She has always had to prove herself with a “fluff name” like Cherry.
While investigating Cherry runs into outlaw biker Leon, who seems dangerous, but once you look closer you see he tends to those in the town who are hurting or in need and fights against the injustices of those in charge. Leon is also investigating Cherry’s father’s death – so they begin to work together.
It turns out they had a very important interaction when they were younger, and after working together for a bit the sparks start to fly and in between bullets flying they find time to get to know each other. Truly a heart-warming and heart-breaking story. Love the way the characters grow and build their relationship.

3. Captive of the Hitman - Alexis does the impossible: Come fall in love with this Hitman!!
Alicia is invited to a business evening – and wakes up being tended by a devastatingly handsome Russian hitman. Mikhail is watching his targets – and notices the woman with them seems “out of it”. When he tends to business he is supposed to leave no witnesses – but he rescues the damsel rather than killing her.
Mikhail doesn’t do relationships – but cannot leave Alicia in danger. Others in the Bratva know she was at the hit site – so she will be killed if she is found. An amazing journey for both Alicia and Mikhail. Danger is everywhere, and the relationship is absolutely scorching!! Make sure you have plenty of time, because you will not be able to put this one down once you start!!

4. Stolen by the Hitman - Alexis does it again – fast-paced, danger-filled, sexy ride of a story!!
Olivia (Liv) is a valedictorian and gymnastics star in her tiny town of Toast, NC. When she is invited to Paris to train under world-renown instructors and study at the University de Paris she accepts but feels out of her element. Her roommate Maggie is home-schooled, yet world-traveled and ready to be out from under her parents thumb. When these two hit Paris they end up in major trouble.
Maksim Pavlenko (Max) is the up-tight representative from the school who makes the offer to Olivia. His demeanor hides the care he has for his students, and his rough beginnings. When Olivia and Maggie do not come to the first day of practice he knows something is wrong and knows only he can fix it.
Super-charged story that pulls you in and takes you for a ride! The danger, intrigue and growing relationship between Liv and Max make this one impossible to put down until you have turned the last page!

5. Hostage of the Hitman - A scintillating hitman story!!!
We meet our hitman in a chilling prologue – he may be Abbott’s roughest hitman yet! Delaney is 18, invincible and somewhat pampered young lady from Savannah, GA. Rather than join her parents in Europe she and her three friends sneak off to Barcelona Spain where they are kidnapped and held for ransom. Ironically Delaney has as much or more brains than looks – she just made a decision to play one down and the other up to fit in at school.
The relationship that evolves between these two is intense and powerful. Darios has enemies that come into play, and no one may escape unscathed in this thrilling, chilling, sensual story.

6. Taken by the Hitman - Another compelling Hitman by Ms. Abbott – if he doesn’t kill you he will steal your heart!!!
We meet Konstantin in prison as he completes an assignment from the Bratva. As he works his way up, he is brought to the US to take over a region. We meet Rosie as she cares for her 8-year-old twin sisters and prepares for her 18th birthday. Her alcoholic, part-time father comes to take her on a surprise trip – which not only changes her life, but threatens her life.
Konstantin is against the slave trade which is a big money maker in the US region. As he is inducted, he is forces to choose between death and taking Rosie while they watch at gunpoint. As brutal as this sounds – they both know it is this or death, and the bond this creates grows over the following months making for another dangerous, captivating Hitman story – another winner!!

I must say that this collection of stories is very good, intense with lot of action, suspense, hot sex, strong and sexy alpha males and heroines that matched them. Full stories without cliffhangers and with good HEA. Read them individually and enjoyed the characters and the different plots and all the emotions that the reading brought me. It’s a bargain that you must get before it’s gone.
Owned by the Hitman –Book 1
Katy’s father left her in a very daunting and dangerous situation. He left her his business and now she had to deal with the Mafia and live in constant dread. When things took a turn for the worse and she had no choice Ivan made her an offer. Loved the way the author presented Ivan, the Mafia boy. His character the descriptions and narrations, all were full of a passion that made me eager to read and immerse in the story. Everything seemed so real, without going overboard, the action flowing as normal in the story context. The author made me visualize Ivan as a man with a mission: get rid of the scum and the author worked around Katy’s character to develop the elements she needed to trust and love him. Ivan knew how to woo her!
Sold to the Hitman- Book 2
Raised into a religious close community, Cassie felt protected. Willing to be considered a good daughter and later a good wife she was eager to obey. But her fate was sealed and not in a good way. Known as the Shadow, Andrei was an asset to the Russia Bratva but he had his limits and slave trade was one of them. When he was faced with an angelical and innocent girl to be auctioned to the barbarian crowd he took matters in his hand. He would save and protect her no matter what. But as a hitman they were exposed and in mortal danger. A story with an interesting theme and plot development. Full of action, suspense, intrigue, betrayal, romance and hot sex.
Saved by the Hitman _Book 3
Cherry was looking for the truth behind her father’s dead and with her journalist nose she was going to find what happened to him. Caught in a compromising situation she met Leon, known as the Prez of the Union Club, and one who seemed dangerous. Leon was a former hitman for the Bratva but having left that life behind, now he was fighting for the dock workers’ rights. Corruptors owned the town and digging the truth was threating everybody. A different story with action, suspense, intrigue, corruption, violence, hot sex, friendship and loyalty.
Captive of the Hitman- Book 4
Mikhail, Leon’s brother, had rejected being the Avtoritet. And now, being a hitman for a man he despised, he needed to be careful and watch his back. While in an important hit there was a witness and he had to think fast. Seemed that Alicia had been deceived by her boss, drugged and without a clear recollection of what happened. The man who took her wanted her to trust him because she was in danger and he wanted to protect her. Could she trust or was she been deceived again? An intense story full of action, suspense, violence, intrigue, betrayal and hot sex. Also, we get to know what happened when Mikhail went to ask Leon’s help. Both Mikhail and Alicia’s characters were strong, decided and a good match.
Stolen from the Hitman- Book 5
Liv was his student, his responsibility and the one that had his heart. Having left a hitman life behind, Max was to risk everything to get rid of the scum threating her life. She was scare but she was a strong woman who would not back down from the danger and from him. This was a very exciting story with a male protagonist that brought to my mind Jason Statham. Fast paced, full of action, violence, scary scenes, sordid characters and a skilled tech with an amusing streak for drama. The author kept my interest all the time with the detailed descriptions and narrations of scenes that made me felt distraught. That is to say that I enjoyed the story a lot
Hostage of the Hitman –Book 6
A façade, that was what Delaney Underwood was showing to the world. She had learned that it was the best thing to do and survive in a world where everybody wanted to define and mold your life. Wanting to play by her rules, she and her friends went to Barcelona and there they were exposed to a traumatic experience but also, she met Darios Esadze, criminal, murderer and …her protector. Lot of action, suspense, intrigue, betrayal, violence and hot sex in this story. Strong characters and some twists in the development that I was not expecting. Fast paced and intriguing the issue of kidnapping rich girls for ransom. Good plot development and the HEA.
Taken by the Hitman- Book 7
Konstantin, The Bull, was a Russian made man and against the slave trade. Forced to show his loyalty he had to go against his principles hurt Rosie. But his revenge will be deadly to all those corrupted and evil men. She was his to protect and he would finish all the enemies. Intense story with a Mafia man who was using his resources and powerful contacts to destroy the slave ring and save the captive women. Lot of action, violence, suspense, intrigue and hot scenes. Liked Konstantin’s character and his determination and beliefs toward his goal even with his life at stake. An interesting story full of action, strong characters, suspense, intrigue, explicit violence and sex.

This series is for any reader who loves action, romance, dark stories, and deep dark characters. There is a little for everyone in these stories and not one will leave a reader wanting more. There are dark plots, dark characters, funny lines, sweet moments, and a lot of heart racing action. I have read each of these stories and found that I could not pick a favorite. Each story is better than the last and each alpha male takes my heart (until the next one). No reader will be disappointed with these stories and the price for this collection is ridiculous! I bought each of these stories at their original price and even at that they were worth each penny. This collection is a steal. All these stories are full length (350 plus pages), and are safe from cheating and cliffhangers. Each is a standalone story and is written with dual narration. There is no reason to read these in order, as each contains unique plots and characters. One quick note is that the first of this series is not included because of owner rights. This being said it is another amazing story and a great addition to this series.
Sold to the Hitman (book 2): This is the wonderful story of Andrei and Cassie. Cassie is a sheltered 18 year old that is being sold off to the highest bitter by her religious parents. Andrei is a hitman doing a job for the Russian mafia and finds that he has the desire to bit on Cassie because he wants to keep her safe. Cassie will most likely be abused and die if Andrei does not help her out. Once he buys Cassie he is unsure of what to do with her, but she grows on him and romance and action ensues.
Saved by the Hitman (book 3): Is the story of Cherry and Leon. Cherry is determined to find out what happened to her father and how and why he was murdered. Taken by The Hitman
After years of faithful service to the Mob, Konstantin was given his own territory.. To test his loyalty, Konstantin was made to take a girl's virginity. He knows she's afraid, but if he doesn't violate her, they will both die. Rosie's father gave her to the mob to pay off gambling debts. She fears for her life upon learning her virginity will be taken by force. I love that Rosie doesn't stay a victim. Konstanin trains her in firearms, knife throwing and self defense. This story is full of action, drama, killing and sex.....what more could you ask for :)

Hostage of the Hitman
Ms. Abbott's Mafia stories just keep getting better and better. Her bad boys are deadly and take what they want. Darios is no different. He hates rich american girls and has no problem taking them hostage until their wealthy parents pay up. At a young age, Delaney learned how to manipulate others. Delaney and her friends sneak off to Barcelona for a weekend of fun. Instead, they're kidnapped and held hostage. Delaney catches the eye of Darios, the leader, soon realizes he isn't falling for her ice queen act. This story sizzles, it's sexy and steamy. I promise it will leave you wanting more. Darios will melt your heart and your panties.

Stolen from the Hitman
To survive the harsh Russian winters, Max became a hitman for the Bratva. When the Bratva started kidnapping women for sex slaves, he assassinated the boss to put an end to it. Liv's only dream was to be a gymnast. She was excited when the handsome standoffish Maksim Pavleko offered her a opportunity of a lifetime.........go to school and train in Paris. Once in Paris, Liv and her roommate were kidnapped by human traffickers. When Max finds out the girls were targeted by human traffickers.......the killer comes out of retirement to save them. The Prologue sets the tempo for this book. Max is lethal and a viscous killer. He is deadly and will take out anyone to save not just Liv, but all women from a life as a sex slave.

Captive of the Hitman
I absolutely love Alexia Abbott's stories. Her Hitman series is so DAYUM GOOD !!!!! You will love Mikhail. He maybe a killer, but he's a killer with a heart. He's feared by all, even his boss. During what was thought a sanctioned hit, Mikhail leaves a beautiful witness alive. Alicia was drugged by her boss, the Congressman. She would have been raped if not for Mikhail. Even though he's a killer, Alicia knows Mikhail saved her. While on the run from the mob, they fall for each other.......yes, it's hot as hell :)

Sold to the Hitman
Andrei is a Hitman for the Bratva. He only kills if they deserve to die. At an invite only auction, Andrei finds his boss is selling young girls. Sick to his stomach, Andrei starts to leave, until he sees beautiful Cassie. Outbidding the Boss' son can be deadly. Cassie was sheltered her whole life. She has no idea why she's standing almost naked in front of vulgar men yelling nasty and lewd suggestions. Alexis does it again !! I can't get enough of her Mafia series. No one can make a Hitman so sexy and caring and lovable.....I know right?? Andrei is vicious, but protective over the innocent. I love how Cassie brings light into his life. I promise you will thoroughly enjoy reading this book.

Saved by the Hitman
I found this book to be a little different from Ms. Abbott's previous books. Her other books usually grabbed me from the first page, this one took a few. But, it will draw you in and you'll fall for Leon and his Union Club. The club members fight the "bosses and corrupt law enforcement" to protect the workers in Bayonne. Cherry is a journalist returning home to solve her father's "accidental death." With the help of the club, Cherry and Leon expose corrupt members of law enforcement and save victims from human traffickers. Leon is a fierce opponent and he kicks butt. I'm really looking forward to reading his brother, Mikhail's story. I have a feeling he's going to make Dimitri in "Ruthless" look like a choir boy :)

I love this series!!!

OWNED BY THE HITMAN
Going into this book I was thinking it would be full of action and emotions but unfortunately I felt like there wasn’t that much of either. For me it was a pretty flat line story with a few ups along the way. Those parts I really enjoyed and couldn’t wait to see how it all happens.
I loved how Ivan was portrayed in the Prologue, it just made him that much more dark and mysterious that I couldn’t wait to read more about him. It was nice to get inside his head in those couple chapters of his, it was great to see what was happening in his head. I loved it when Ivan revealed his past and how he got to be where he was now, it was a sweet and emotional scene.
At first I didn’t know what to make of Katy and it was like that for most of the book but towards the end I found her to be such a great character, I thought her and Ivan were great together. I loved how sweet he was with Katy but also the couple hot and heavy parts that happened between those two.
3.5 stars

SOLD TO THE HITMAN
Such a good read. I love Alexis’ writing style and the way she brings a new world to life. I’m loving the characters she creates and this one isn’t any different, I loved Cassie and Andrei especially with how much Cassie grows throughout the book (which I’m so happy about).
I found this book to be so sweet at times, I loved how Andrei could be so sweet to Cassie but I also loved his tough side, I thought they were great together and I loved their interactions with some hot scenes in the mix.
There were a couple parts within the story that had me a little confused and make me question what/when it happened especially towards the end where I felt the story just jumped a bit.
I really enjoyed this read from both POVs and their very cute happy ending
4 stars

SAVED BY THE HITMAN
I quite liked this story about Leon and Cherry but it wasn’t one of my favourites by Alexis. There were a few parts in the story I was questioning and was a little confused about, I found myself stopping and trying to figure out how some things connected and what was happening.
I enjoyed reading about these characters and the members of the Union Club. There were a few times where I wasn’t a fan of Cherry, I found her quite annoying and irrational in parts of the story but I did like how strong of a character she was. I loved Leon. Just loved how mysterious, strong and caring he was at times especially with Cherry. I liked how Cherry just didn’t give up on him.
I would love to have read about their past together more and how much time had passed since then and what happened, although still a good read
3.5 stars

CAPTIVE OF THE HITMAN
What a great start to a good book. I loved that opening chapter with Mikhail, loved how dark and mysterious he appeared. I thought he was a really great character to read about. I was a little uncertain with Alicia at times. I loved their banter at the beginning and how sassy and quirky she was then, but she still annoyed me quite a bit throughout the read - seeing as she was never into violence it confused me with how okay she was when witnessing what Mikhail does, never questioning or thinking about backing away from it all then being involved in it towards the end and I really disliked how she constantly kept referring Mikhail as a murderer and killer even towards the end.
Although there were some chapters that were a bit up and down for me, it was still a quick read with a good storyline and I loved getting both POVs. There were some very hot and steamy scenes between these two, I loved Mikhail’s dirty words but there were also some very sweet moments especially at the very end. I would love to have known more about what happened with them before the epilogue began
4 Stars

STOLEN FROM THE HITMAN
An action packed book. I really liked the story between Max and Liv, I loved the connection and exchanges they had. Also loved the storyline and Max’s passion to keep Liv safe, doing everything he can to protect her was so sweet and made the all-round Alpha show his softer side.
The main and even the side characters were very easily likeable, they each had their own fiery and passionate personality and made the story flow really well.
It was well written and each character just came to life. The story kept me on the edge of my seat most of the time, just waiting to find out what would happen next. Although, for me, there were some parts here and there where I did get a little lost and confused for a bit before the story picked up again. But still a really good and recommended read, it is a little longer than Alexis’ previous books but so worth it
4 Stars

HOSTAGE OF THE HITMAN
I loved the build-up that led to Delaney and Darios finally meeting. There was action right from the start that kept me on the edge of my seat desperately wanting to know what happens next.
I did find Delaney quite annoying at the start. There was just something about her that I didn’t like very much. But as the story went on I was slowly warming up to her a bit and in the end I thought she was a great character and perfect for Darios. And Darios… wow just loved him right from the start! I thought he was such a great character along with the others in the story.
It was full of action mixed with a little romance and hot scenes, a really great read.
I loved how one character from a previous book made a little appearance in this one, I love seeing characters inter-connect with the lives of others and it was great to see how everything turned out in the end.
4.5 Stars

TAKEN BY THE HITMAN
Another really good read by Alexis. There was action, a bit of humour, sweet moments and steamy scenes.
It took me a while to get into the story because I was constantly wondering what was going on and was a little confused but then the storyline picked up and I had such a hard time putting it down.
I loved reading about how Konstantin first became a part of the Bratva at the beginning of the book and what he had to do and go through. The same with Rosie, I loved reading about her past right away and what she had to go through at such a young age with her family. I felt like strangling her father so many times for what he puts Rosie through and what he does to her because he’s a desperate a**hole. But he does get his time in the end.
I loved seeing Konstantin’s sweet side when he was around Rosie, it was great to see him have a connection to her right away. But I also love his very Alpha side too, those times were very hot! I thought they worked very well together.
I really liked the interactions each character had with another. The story was very well written and had a great storyline

TITLE OF BOX SET: THE HITMAN; THE SERIES
AUTHOR OF BOX SET: ALEXIS ABBOTT
DATE READ: JANUARY 27, 2017 – JANUARY 31, 2017

This is the complete series of “The Hitman” by Alexis Abbott. The only book not in this box set is “Owned by the Hitman” and trust me when I say you want to read it too! Even though it is the first book in the series I missed it, but read it last. She wasn’t allowed to put it in the box set for some reason, but she did add the first two chapters. The entire series is based on Russian Hitmen who had bad lives and they all have one thing in common, “They do not like human trafficking!!!” You are going to love these strong, tattooed, hard men, and the women that come into their lives for one reason or another. Oh, yea you are going to want to read the entire collection. I started with “Sold to the Hitman” and I have been reading her books ever since.

1.) Not in Box Set—Owned by the Hitman: Katy is trying to keep the club her father left her open, but it getting harder to do when he left her a debt to the Russian Mafia who collect from her each month. Now the payment is due again and she has no idea how she is going to make it. The Russian’s want their money or they will take it from her in a way she doesn’t even want to think about. Little does Katy know that the one night stand she has will come to her rescue in the form of a “Russian Hitman.” But can she take the deal he is offering and not feel like a paid prostitute? The one night with him was wonderful, could it be so bad? Ivan is a hitman for the Mafia and he is good at what he does. He offers to keep the Mafia out of Katy’s hair if she agrees to be his for one year and he will support her. Taking his deal means she can put her money into the club and not have to pay the money to the Mafia. AWESOME BOOK!!!

2.) Sold to the Hitman—Cassie is the daughter of a man you want to beat the crap out of and her mother isn't much better. Cassie does however, love her younger brother Isaac. She did the most of his care. Cassie is raised with the belief that the worldly things are evil. She is taught to cook, clean and that the woman is to care for her husband no matter what he wants. Then she turns 18 and it is supposed to be one the happiest day of her life. But her parents have a surprise for her that sends her world crashing. Andrei is a hit-man for the Bravata, or otherwise known as the Russian Mob. He is asked to serve as security for what he thought was to be fights. He had no idea that they were going to auction off humans!!!! he didn't like this. The girls are bought out in nothing but bras and panties and put on display for the men to look over before bidding on them. He spots Cassie and sees that she is no more than 18 and that all the girls were no older than 18. Not liking the foul things coming out of the mouths of the men bidding on her Andrei starts bidding. He finally wins her after forking out 1.6 million dollars on her. Andrei cannot believe that he just did that. Can Cassie learn to be the wife Andrei wants and needs? Can Andrei be patient with Cassie knowing where she came from and the life she has led?

3.) Saved by the Outlaw—Cherry LaBeau is a newspaper reporter from New York making just enough money to keep her in the clothes she likes, and a nice place to live, but nothing extravagant. Cherry is in Bayonne, New Jersey, where she was born, to bury her father, John LaBeau who was murdered and the local police have no leads on his death. While she is in Bayonne she decides to check out the warehouse where he was killed hoping that she could maybe find something to help find his killer. While in the warehouse she hears voices and then sees two mean interrogating a third man who is chained. She makes a noise by accident and must run for her life, little did she know that she was running from the only person that could help her and keep her safe. Leon Volkov is spent years getting himself out of the Russian mafia, where he served as a hitman. Now he is the President of the Union MC that he formed to help the people of Bayonne keep their jobs and pay so they can survive a dying town and with corruption of the worse kind and that is why they must operate outside of the law. Now all of sudden Cherry LaBeau has come to town asking questions about her father's murder. Then suddenly Cherry shows up and talk about a blast from the past, but this time he doesn't plan on letting her get away. Cherry doubts Leon at first but soon realizes that they are both looking for the person who killed her father and why? Leon and Cherry must work together with the help of his club, and the town in order to smoke out the scum that is sucking the life out of Bayonne. They also must find out who is behind the attacks on Leon and his MC. Can Leon stop the forces after him and Cherry? Can Leon and Cherry have a life together or will he go to jail, and she back to New York? Will the MC stand behind Leon and Cherry?

4.) Captive of the Hitman—Mikhail is a killer for the Russian Mob hired to do a job and leave no witnesses. Now he is preparing for a new job and all the causalities of his job are present including one blond woman. Which for Mikhail is no problem. So, he kills everyone accounted for except the blond. He takes her as his prize. He must find a way to protect her and it starts with getting her to trust him. Alicia is just trying to work her way through college and she is the assistant to Congressman Gallego and she is asked to go out with him to help discuss his re-election. Little did she know that he and his colleges had other ideas as to what to do with her. Once she awakes at Mikhail’s she has no idea what happened and thinks she is in a safe house. Mikhail must find a way to get her to trust him so he can protect her. Can Mikhail save her and stay alive in the process? Will Alicia ever trust Mikhail enough that she can love him?

5.) Taken from the Hitman—Maksim Pavlenko is a retired hitman from the Russian Mob. He is recruiting gymnasts for an elite gymnastics company in Paris. He is in North Carolina to offer Olivia Greenwood a position because he sees talent in her. He must make sure she sees him as nothing more than an instructor. He had to keep his barriers up because she was the girl he always wanted and could never have. On the first day of classes he notices that she and Maggie Mason are missing from class. That when he realizes that Olivia and Maggie are missing and were taken by the mob that he was sure he got rid of a few years back because of the human trafficking they were involved in. Now it looks as if Maksim is going to have to come out of retirement to find Olivia and Maggie before they are sold to the highest bidder. Olivia Greenwood is a gymnast and very good at it. She is the awards banquet for the school and she watching a man who is staring at her. She has never been away from her parents, and when she is offered a position from the very man that had been watching her most of the night she jumps at the offer. Then the very day she arrives in Paris she meets Maggie become friends and the next thing she knows they have been kidnapped and are going to sold to the highest bidder. Will Max be able to save Olivia and Maggie? Will Max and Olivia get a new start on life? Will Olivia become the gymnast that she knows she can be?

6.) Hostage of the Hitman—Delaney Underwood is what I would call a spoiled little rich girl. But this spoiled little rich girl is one that has the potential to be dangerous. She knows how to manipulate people into thinking her way without them even realizing she is doing it. She can get anything she wants, anytime she wants it, and she can even con her friend’s parents into thinking her way too. Her dad just wants a trophy daughter, and her mother just wants her to be a girly girl and stay out of her way. Delaney worked hard to change her image after an incident with a boy when she was young and pudgy. Now she is 18 and planning on manipulating her parents one more time. She and her friends, Caitlin, Lyssa, and Megan are planning a trip to Barcelona with no adult supervision or protection. One they are there they meet a handsome fellow who invites them to a roof top party that turn out to be the worst mistake of their lives. That is when the nightmare for the four of them begins. Darios Esadze is a Georgian who has ties with the mafia and is also a very good at what he does. He takes spoiled little rich girls and trades them for a large ransom. This is a business that he stole from his enemy Luka. He lived a hard life growing up and he had to be tough. He feels no remorse when taking these girls and holding them hostage. The one problem he ran into was when he kidnapped Delaney Underwood. She was an enigma to him and one he found to be very intriguing. He also knew that there was more to her than meets the eye. It rather makes him mad at the fact that she thinks she can get what she wants and he had beg, bum, borrow, steal and even murder to get where he was today. Darios knew that Delaney was in his blood when he met her at the roof top party. Now he can’t keep his eyes off her. Then when he gets his first taste of her…. well that seals the deal. He will have her at any cost and he will keep her for himself. There are several twists and turns in this story and you will not be disappointed. You will also find yourself wanting to be in Delaney’s shoes.

7.) Taken by the Hitman-- Rosie’s life started out pretty awesome. She had two loving parents and they all lead a decent life. That is until she was 8 years old and her twin sisters were born. Then everything went to shit after that. Her mother died not long after giving birth, and he daddy, though not physically, but mentally died right with her. Since he blamed the twins for her mother’s death he didn’t want anything to do with them. So, Rosie named them and raised them. All she had was them, and she had to do everything in her power to make sure that they were taken care of. Her father owed the Bratva a large amount of money so he traded her as payment in full to them. She had no idea what her father was up to until it was too late. Now there is no going back for her, and all she could think of was what would happen to her two small sisters without her there to take care of them? Then the next thing she knows there is a big Bull of a man standing in front of her being forced at gun point to take her virginity and then she is given to him to break. Rosie was beginning to feel as though there was no hope for her now. Or was there? Konstantin was a hitman for the Bratva until he betrayed them and then wound up in prison. While in prison he is given a second chance to redeem himself. He had to kill someone which was nothing new to him. So now he is out of prison and has risen in the ranks, and now he must prove himself to them once again, or they will kill him. He just wasn’t prepared for the young woman they gave him expecting him to take her virginity and break her, and no less at gun point. He had plans of his own, and that included running the Bratva his way, and getting rid of the slave trade. He knew that she was damaged, but so was he, yet she has a body he couldn’t get enough of, and she was very smart. He plans to keep her, but will he be able to? They both want revenge and the Bratva dead. Will they get what they want? Or will they die trying?

**I received this ARC in exchange for an honest voluntary review** Loved this series bundle! Downside to it is Owned by the Hitman isn't included, only a snippet. Least favorite story was Saved by the Hitman but still enjoyed it nonetheless. Loved each story's own suspense, action sequences, references/ appearances of other characters that connect the stories to each other in some way & of course the tall, dark, strong & handsome Russian Hitmen that take care of the women they fall for. Would most definitely recommend this bundle! ;)

I like Ms.Abbott's writing style, like that her tales are told at a steady pace that makes them easy to read. I like the passion in every story and creativity of the author. I also like the fact that Russian words and names spelled and used correctly and there is a glossary that explains them. Overall this box set is a great read.

Sold To The Hitman-

Andrei meets Cassie in a less than ideal situation. Cassie is scared and alone and Andrei realizes that she needs protecting. Who better to protect her than him? Cassie is a good girl from a God fearing family. She has been home schooled and taught to serve God and her husband, when the time comes to marry.
But things aren't always what they seem.
Andrei works for the Bratva as a hitman. He is exceptional at what he does and is feared by many.
Yes they make an unlikely pair, but opposites attract, right?
Can a pure, angelic girl find happiness with a deadly murderer for hire?
I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS BOOK ! LOTS OF CRAZY, HOT, RIP THE SHEETS SEX ! ! THESE CHARACTERS WERE AWESOME ! Cassie overcame so much. She was able to open up her mind as well as her heart; so strong and brave.
Andrei was able to become the man he was meant to be...a good man.

Leon is the handsome, sexy white knight leading the charge to fight for what he believes in. With the help of Cherry, gorgeous and tenacious, they become unstoppable.
THIS BOOK HAD ME FROM THE START ! GREAT STORYLINE, VERY ORIGINAL, FILLED WITH INTERESTING CHARACTERS ! ROMANTIC SUSPENSE AT ITS BEST !

Captive Of The Hitman-

Alicia works for a congressman. Trying to advance in her career, she accepts an invitation for drinks and dinner with him and his associates. Thinking it to be a harmless invitation, but by accepting, it is assumed she is open to much more.
Mikhail is a hitman out on a job, only this job has a glitch. A woman who was definitely not supposed to be there. Oh well, collateral damage...nothing new. Maybe in this case it is.
Mikhail realizes by keeping Alicia alive, he seems to have bitten off more than he can chew. So unlike him. Normally he is in complete and total control in all situations he deals with. Alicia is one situation he never bargained for. As things heat up, Mikhail needs to keep Alicia safe, and that means keeping her far way from him.
Women have no place in his life. Feelings have no place in his life. Can Alicia change all that? Would she even want to?
This was a great story. I loved the characters. I instantly remembered Mikhail and Leon's conversation from Saved By The Hitman, GREAT BOOK, by the way, with Cherry and Leon. It was great to visit with them again.
Mikhail and Alicia were two characters that knew they were both missing something in their lives, but didn't realize it until they were without each other. The tricky part was trying to figure out how to be together, and if that was possible.
THIS STORY WAS ACTION PACKED AND VERY DRIVEN !   FLOWED SMOOTHLY AND WELL WRITTEN !   NO LULLS IN THIS STORY, BUT PLENTY OF WILD, HOT, STEAMY SEX ! !  GREAT BOOK !  ALEXIS ABBOTT DOES NOT DISAPPOINT !

Stolen From The Hitman-

Liv meets Max at a banquet being held for gymnasts. There he offers her the chance to go to France and be trained at an elite gymnast company. Liv is originally from a small town in North Carolina, so this is a big opportunity for her. Soon after arriving in France, she meets her new flat mate and they go out on the town. That's when things take a turn. They get themselves into a mess that they have no way to get out of, unless someone rescues them; highly unlikely considering that no one will be any the wiser. Someone more dangerous than the people that want to hurt them. Someone who knows how to deal with people like that.
Liv loses all hope, not hard to do considering her situation. Max feels responsible for her and calls upon his old skills to make her safe. Apparently, her new gymnastics coach has some skills she never imagined. Max is one bad ass, deadly, hardened hitman, rather, sort of ex hitman. He thought he left that life behind....obviously not too far behind. He was also tender and caring when it came to Liv. They were a good match .
AMAZING STORY WITH EQUALLY AMAZING CHARACTERS !      GREAT PLOT WITH TWISTS & TURNS AND LOTS OF SUSPENSE !   NON STOP ACTION !     THEIR CHEMISTRY WAS OFF THE CHARTS !   DEFINITELY ONE-CLICK THIS BOOK ! ! !

Hostage Of The Hitman-

Delaney is from Savannah Georgia. Having recently turned 18, she is the "Hot Alpha Girl" of her small group of close friends. Self proclaimed daddy's girl, she usually gets her way. She's adapted to that life...rich, privileged. She's more than that though. She's smart and it bothers her that she's had to dumb down herself to fit in. Delaney isn't living life truly as herself. She's had to make drastic changes just to fit in.
Darios is a well known assassin affiliated with the Georgian Mafia. He has had a rough start in life, that he has worked hard to change. In addition to being a skilled hitman, Darios is also a kidnapper for ransom.
These two are about to cross paths, but not necessarily by chance.
Delaney's parents are planning a trip to Europe. Delaney encourages them to go on ahead without her. She will be along soon. She has plans of her own that involve her friends. Soon they meet a young man in Spain who invites them to a party. At this party Delaney meets Darios, and her nightmare begins. Delaney is torn between feelings of terror and lust for her captor. Darios is more about the lust. Darios underestimates Delaney, but this intrigues him also. Not only is she beautiful, but Delaney is smarter than he expected. He's used to dealing with girls who are terrified and compliant. Delaney? Not so much. Soon they become close...intimate. Delaney is his captive. He's holding her for ransom. What is his endgame? Happily ever after? Best to collect on her and move on. What started out as a kidnap for ransom, turned into something resembling protection detail.
THIS WAS ONE WILD RIDE !     AWESOME STORYLINE !   ACTION PACKED !
LOTS OF A$$ SMACKING, HAIR PULLING HOT SEX ! ! !  GREAT BOOK !  I LOVE ALEXIS' HITMEN !

Taken By The Hitman-

Konstantin is ex spetznaz and currently in prison. He has just made a deal with his new employer....the Bratva. Konstantin travels to New York to help with Bratva business. Nicknamed The Bull, Konstantin is a top assassin, a hitman. They are now asking more of him, something he may not want to give, but will accept for the greater good. He finds himself walking a very fine line. Konstantin knows he's being watched so he must comply or face the consequences. He's being promoted and this means more power to accomplish his plans.
Rosie has no plans at the moment, but survival would be good. She's being offered as payment in full. Konstantin learns that Rosie now belongs to him. He is told he must break her, and with no other choice, he does as he is told to save them both.
He knows he needs to protect her now. The Bratva wants Konstantin to do their bidding, but he has other plans.
This is a story with high stakes riding on the outcome. The Bratva has their hands in many illegal businesses that bring in millions of dollars. Can one man change a way of thinking that has been going on for years? Can one man save so many innocent victims? Can one man save the only woman he's ever cared about? Konstantin knows he can't walk away from Rosie. They can't not be together. Konstantin does need an ally though and he finds one in Andrei, a hitman as well. Andrei has cleansed the Bratva of its more seedy businesses in the past, and Konstantin needs his help and his loyalty now.
Konstantin is a man who offered his expertise to the Bratva and was rewarded handsomely. He may not share the same views, but at a time in his life, he needed them and they were there.
Rosie has no one but her younger siblings. Her father is basically a non existent parent and she has cared for them since their birth.
Rosie and Konstantin are two very mismatched people from opposite ends of the world thrown together hoping for a good outcome. Together, they are stronger. Together, they will not go down without a fight.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS BOOK !  ACTION PACKED STORYLINE WITH AWESOME CHARACTERS !   ALSO MY FAVORITE HITMAN, ANDREI FROM "SOLD TO THE HITMAN,"MAKES AN APPEARANCE ....LOVE HIM !

Read from February 04 to 05, 2017

Hounded by the mafia to pay protection money on a club left by her father, as well as debt he left her Katy feels like she's drowning. Trying in vein to raise the next payment or face their wrath, the only highlight has been a one night stand with a hot stranger. Suspense, tense and sometimes violent read. There is also hot and extremely steamy sex. Interesting, fast paced and complex story with a few different aspects to it which helps keep the suspense going throughout. The love and romance side is sweet but hot and intense. A good continuation to this ongoing series of the Hitman Series.

Read from February 01 to 03, 2017

I read this book as part of a box set, I had already read all but this one and Owned by a Hitman which isn't part of the set. A great read with lots going on, betrayal, lies and violence, along with explicit sexual content. A sheltered young girl, she has been hidden away, protected and only had the purist of lives up till she turned eighteen. Her god-fearing parents are arranging a marriage, she assumes to someone from their church who lives a similar life to themselves. From here what happens is a total shock and a complete change of life.
A hitman you would think is a bad guy, but a young boy rescued and raised by the Bratva, trained to kill those who are enemies or do some bad business against them isn't all it he seem to be. He still has some bounderies and a sense of honour that he sticks to, he doesn't kill the innocent. He carefully researches every hit and learns all he can about his subjects. If no evidence of foul play turns up then he helps them to a new life. He also hates the sex trade or the abuse of women.
An intense and even sometimes hard book to read, the subject matter (sex slavery) is something I guess most women would fear. Reading about relatives basically selling a young girl into this sort of life, to someone they know nothing about but can assume would be abusive in the worst possible way, is hard to stomach.
Andrei despite his job is loving, tender and understanding. He has no family and not many friends. He could be bitter about his past but somehow it gives him a better understanding, making him a patient and kindhearted teacher considerate on every level.
Cassie at first is lost, lonely, scared and bewildered by the circumstances she finds herself in. Despite all that her upbringing is so strong she knows she has to obey her husband in all things, to give everything in her to make it work and support him always. Sensitive, naïve and innocent far more than most women by that age actually make this a great match for the tall imposing and dangerous man who buys and marries her.
Together they can take on the world while keeping us on the edge of our seats on this journey of theirs. The Hitman of this series are not at all what you expect them to be. Great book, series and author, one who manages to keep you engrossed and leave you wanting more every time.

Read from February 06 to 07, 2017

Loads going on in this story, from Bikers to Mafia. From Civilians to FBI, from Good to Bad guys. A small town pretty much held to ransom and immigrants turning up and taking jobs from locals for less money.
A young girl rescued from drowning by a handsome guy she has never forgotten, now grown she returns home to find out who killed her beloved father.
So many twists and turns and intrigue, suspicion and threats at every turn. You almost expect this book to be twice the length with all the content involved, reading it though the time just wizzes by and before you know it's finished. I enjoyed this book so much the characters are believable and very likeable, I gelled with them from start to finish. I also loved that despite all that was going on around them and the town they still managed to laugh with each other and the other bikers. Great read and one I have no hesitation recommending to others, I read this as part of the box set of the complete series and have reviewed as both individual and as the set. The whole series is worth reading, though one book is unfortunately not included but I would suggest getting it any way to complete the whole series.

Read from June 22 to 23, 2016

Free copy given for an honest review.
From start to finish this is a roller coaster ride of tension, fear, violence and action. Paid hitman for the mafia makes a split second decision during a hit, it changes the course of not only his life but that of the woman he spares. Safe houses, fleeing for her life, guns and knives become her existence for the immediate future. Initially scared of the hitman and trying to escape, she finds an attraction instead. This story keeps you edgy, there's no settling in for a gentle romance it is nearly all hard, crude and rough. The sex on the other hand comes in both forms as the attraction and love build between the two main characters, it comes in snatched moments between running to or from men out to kill. This is an Russian Mafia based story, it is hard and volatile throughout but I loved it.

Read from August 17 to 18, 2016

Arc copy for an honest review.
Human sex trade traffickers the lowest scum on earth, they have no respect for women and think it's their right to snatch them from their lives and treat them however they want until they are sold. Mafia most are bad be they Russian, Chechin.
You start reading this story thinking it is going to be about gymnastics, training and competing. You very soon discover it is far more than that. Max has a past and it was tough, violent and it's secret. Liv and her new roommate stumble into something innocently and have no way to get out by themselves.
I liked Max, he was a good guy despite his past. He had been determined to do better, improve and he had succeeded. The life before he had no choice it was simply survival.
There is graphic violence, sex, car chases and lots more in this tense fast paced read. The bad guys just keep coming back and it is a rollercoaster ride, from beginning to end.
Liv and Max appear complete opposites but under the surface they are more alike than is first apparent, they do what needs doing to stay alive. Well written with a constant move forward towards the end, it is a stand alone book as well so no worrying about a series.

Read in November, 2016

A gifted copy was given to this reader in return for an honest review.
Four girls go on holiday and end up having their lives changed. There are quite a few of this type of book out there at the moment, luckily they all vary slightly. This is a good read with a few twists and turns along the way, it is based mostly in different parts of Spain. We don't really get to know a lot about many of the bad guys only Darious, we also don't get much about what happens with the other three girls while being held. The story focus is just Darious and Delaney and what goes on between them, reading makes it seem as though this is based over just a long period of time but I figured it is only a couple of weeks so is a bit deceptive as to the event timeline. It does have excitement and some violent content as well as sexual, which is graphic. It is an enjoyable read though not quite as all consuming as some I have read along this type of theme, but that's just me someone else reading this sort of story for the first time would probably find the opposite. I guess I just would have liked it even more if there had been just a bit more about the dealings of ransom and the rest of the characters to give it a bit more depth, other than that very good.

Read from December 01 to 02, 2016

Interesting, fast paced read. Contains violence and some sexual content though the later isn't to explicit. There is some abuse content as well which is all a part of the main story. It is a hard subject matter and I actually felt sorry for both characters, neither had had an easy life so I felt that despite how they meet they were quite suited to each other in many ways. Well written and nothing to over the top as regards the violence or the sex, and enjoyable read.

From one killer to another...

I enjoyed this mafia romance story! It centers around a young woman who has to drop out of collage and take over her father's bar. When threatened by the mob that is supposed to be "protecting" he a strange hero steps in. And now a bit about the story...

Katy's one night stand has left her wanting more, but she can't worry about that know, the mob is coming and who knows what they will do when they figure out she can't pay. Just as the bad guys are about to pounce the one night stand, Ivan, appears on the scene. He offers her protection in exchange for ownership instead of money. Will this collar strangle her? And can she love a killer?

Favorite passages:
- So here I am with my dilemma. How does one politely tell a Russian mobster no?
- When his lips are in that hard, resolved line, he certainly looks the part of a hit man. But as soon as he smiles, he looks like Prince Charming. It’s a bizarre and intoxicating dichotomy, and I can’t help but want more.
- No matter how hard we try, evil can always strike behind a turned back.
- “Dark things happen when we are not looking, and you could not have stayed here forever just waiting for it. That is no life.”
- I look down at the sparkling gem nested on my collarbone and have to stifle an embarrassed smile at how badly it clashes with my too-casual red tank top. It’s sort of like putting a diamond tiara on a clump of dirt.
- Envy is a monstrous thing, my love.
- I feel like I’m putting myself out as chum for a shark.

Going, Going, Sold!!

Hold on to your horses, this one goes from Susie Homemaker to Sassy Cassie fast! Great Russian Mafia romance with justified hits and saves and some steamy passion. And now a bit about the story...

Cassie has been raised in seclusion, never leaving her home town and only allowed to go to the fanatical church her parents selected. She is home schooled and being taught to obey her God and her future husband. While she is excited to be turning 18 and matched with her unknown husband, she would be distraught if she knew her father's plans. Luckily Andrei, the hired muscle for the event she ends up at, rescues her from certain tragedy. But now they must marry... Can she turn her 1950's obedience into the perfect mafia match or is she doomed???

Favorite passages:
- Beside him, I am pastel and dreamy-eyed, a pale waif sharing the air with a big, bad wolf.
- Up there, the silence was complete — a total absence of sound. But here in the city, there was no such thing as complete quiet. There was always the muffled hum of neon signs, the bustle of traffic , wailing sirens and impatient car horns, even in the dead of night.
- For Cassandra Meadows, this would have been absolutely unimaginable. Totally impossible. But for Cassandra Petrov, this is exciting.

Saved by the Hitman by Alexis Abbott - 5 stars
An eye for an eye...

Suspense romance with a young journalist hungry to solve her father's murder while getting mixed up with the feds and a Russian MC. I was drawn into the "who done it?" from the beginning! And now a bit about the story...

Cherry is tired of writing fashion fluff on blogs. She wants to get back to her investigative journalism. She started off a real paper and that is her goal now. As long as the biker beating the guy with the chains doesn't catch her in her cute but incorporate shoes! Leon can't believe it is really her. She is back. But she could never accept the ex hitman turned MC club president. Could she??

Favorite passages:
- “They fight dirty, so we have to get down in the mud with them.”
- When the world sees that you’re not willing to fight, it tends to write you off.

Captive of the Hitman by Alexis Abbott - 5 stars
Moscow Malady...

She refuses the fall to Stockholm Syndrome, but something is happening... maybe she is sick... it could be a Moscow Malady! Suspenseful and steamy story about hitman turned protector. Strong women to good along with the deadly Russian assassin's. And now a bit about the story...

Talk about being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Alicia is with her boss and as it turns out drugged out of her mind. Luckily a hit was called for her boss. Mikhail is there to do his job with no emotion, but somehow he cannot kill the girl. And so behind the hunt for the missing girl!

Favorite passages:
- “So you’re vying for, like, the most considerate kidnapper award?”
- With that out of the way I slip away, the world's quietest yet least successful burglar, then get to work.
- When it came down to it—them or me— I chose me without blinking.

Stolen from the Hitman by Alexis Abbott - 5 stars
Can you really steal what was never someone else's to begin with???

Suspenseful teacher/student/mafia romance. Can recent high school graduate Liv survive in Paris and can Max her teacher (former hitman) survive his feelings when she is kidnapped? And now a bit about the story...

Liv is a gymnast at heart. She has devoted her whole life to the sport, never getting into trouble in her small North Carolina town, no boys... some would say no fun... but she has pushed herself to be the best gymnast. When a prestigious school in Paris recruits her, with a very handsome teacher mind you, she immediately accepts. She flies across the Atlantic tasting her first champagne on the plane next to another handsome "student". Cutting her day short with him she wanders off to find her roommate Maggie. The two can't believe they are alone and free in Paris!! They have one day before training starts and they go out partying!! They are so lucky their teacher, the former hitman, still has connections or they may be gone forever...

Favorite passages:
- “I can sleep when I’m dead!”
- I answer, trying desperately not to say “they didn’t teach us how to be nerds.”

Hostage of the Hitman by Alexis Abbott - 5 stars
Birds of a feather...

You know the famous saying opposites attract? Well this is one of those stories for you... While some may say this could never happen I want to remind you of a few things: 1) this is a story, meant for entertainment, 2) anything and everything is possible... even if not probable, and 3) people change. Now that we have that part out of the way... this is a suspenseful, passionate, violent love story based in Spain featuring the Georgian mafia. And now a bit about the story...

Delaney has everything you could ever desire... youth, wealth, good looks, popularity, her virginity... to some she is known as the ice queen... though she was much calmer and softer at a younger geeky age before she realized what was required to get attention by those around her.

Darios had a hard life which landed him in jail as a youngster. Then being thrown from jail into the war, he eventually survived and became a mobster. His bad side (running a kidnapping ring out of Spain) and his good side (saving baby birds and playing robin hood to a local slum) keep him balanced and in control.

When their worlds collide the sparks fly!! Never has he been so challenged. Never has she not been treated like a princess. It's a match made in hell... but will it survive?

Favorite passages:
- “Nobody knows what they are truly made of until they are taken out of their element and broken down.”
- I am horrified to find that nearly every single drawer and nook and cranny seems to have been concealing yet another weapon, like we’re on some morbid Easter egg hunt for guns.
- “If they thought they could keep you from me, they should remind themselves I’m perfectly happy to kidnap you all over again.”

Cleaning from the inside out!

Bad boy mafia romance with lots of passion, blood, fire and even a few explosions! Some of the positions the characters end up in, either by their family, friends, enemies, or their own hand will keep you intrigued to the end! And now a bit about the story...

Konstantin has landed fresh off the plane from Russia to be ushered out to a yacht. He must do something he hates, or have the death of an innocent as well as his own. Rosie can't believe what her father has done to her, as if raising his two 8 year old twins wasn't enough, now he's sold her like an old used car! But Konstantin and Rosie survive to live another day, cleaning out their new house and lives from the top down! But will the cleaning bill be too steep to pay?

Favorite passage: She knew how to repurpose everything, how to turn a dud into a dream without fail.

Owned by the Hitman: I loved listening to this story. Alexis has a wonderful way of writing that just makes you want more and that's from the very beginning. Lauren did a great job of giving voices to Ivan and Katy. I'm a bit spoiled by the sound of Tracy Marks voice when she gives a Russian accent. BUT I may be working on getting spoiled y Lauren too. The sweet romance and hard edges to Ivan just made this story perfect. I can't wait to continue on with more of Alexis's works.

Sold to the Hitman:I love the whole "bad boy in the streets" and the "sweet teddy bear in the sheets" vibe this story gives off. Andrei is sexy in all his own rights and would be the perfect catch. Sweet innocent Cassie. I love hearing about her coming into her own as a woman and showing the world who she really is once she gets the chance. I loved reading this story and could barely put it down once I started it.

Saved by the Outlaw: I love how Leon's and Cherry's story branches out from The Hitman Series world a little. This mix of MC and mob is awesome. Alexis has a wonderful way of making her own world, and throwing in twists like this one is pretty awesome. How she created Cherry and Leon's love seems so real and authentic and just this entire small town is beautiful.

Captive of the Hitman: I love the sweet protective vibe you get from all of Alexis's men. Mikhail is a perfect example of this with Alicia and how he refuses to hurt any woman or child. More men need to be like this in the world. I mean who wouldn't fall for a man who's willing to risk everything for reusing to hurt you? I know some may call it Stockholm syndrome, but is it wrong to fall for the guy saving your life or is it oh so right? I'm all for having my life saved. My favorite part of this story was the big "bad" man being such a sweet softie. Gotta love the teddy bear in disguise.

Stolen from the Hitman: I love Liv and Max's story it's so sweet and so much yummy action and suspense. This was a really great addition to the series and I love how it all worked out. I can't think of anything else I want to say that doesn't give away stuff about the book because I hate spoilers I'm not going to say any more than that you really need to read it yourself.

Hostage of the Hitman: I love the romance and intensity between Delaney and Darios. There are times where it felt a bit unreal, but then I reminded myself that different people react differently to different situations. The action throughout the book just made it all the better and kept the pages turning.

Taken from the Hitman: So sexy, so yummy... So actiony. I loved this story. Konstantin is such a dream boat and the world needs to be full of men like him. Rosie is such a sweetie I could actually get along with her. This was a really great book even with the sad and depressing bits, but thats what really helped make this such a great story.

This is a wonderful collection of books and having read all of them, I would certainly have no hesitation in recommending them. The author has a way of bringing her stories to life and this collection is no exception. While they all relate to Hitman, the content is varied, making them an exciting read. Copies of these books have previously been provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read each book and my comments here are my honest opinion.

Book 1: Owned by the Hitman
Ever since Katy inherited the Amber Room from her father, it has been nothing but trouble, but the night Ivan enters the Club, her life changes inexplicably and so does his. Trying to keep her father’s dream alive is getting more and more difficult, until Ivan steps in with a proposition. Ivan is a hitman; his life had been such that he didn’t have a choice, but during their time together Katy gets to know the real man, belonging to him completely. Ivan has loved Katy from the moment he saw her, but a jealous admirer frames Ivan for a murder he didn’t do. Can Ivan prove his innocence and will Katy listen to him and accept him for who he is?

Book 2: Sold to the Hitman
Andrei is the hitman known as Shadow and works for Sergei, one of the most feared men in Brighton Beach. Cassie has been brought up by strict parents and has no clue about the outside world, other than what she has read in books. On her 18th birthday Cassie is told that a husband has been selected for her - but instead she ends up at a slave auction. Andrei is at the club protecting Sergei, but when 10-women are paraded on stage he does the unthinkable, he bids for Cassie. Now Andrei has disobeyed orders, embarrassed Sergei, abandoned his post and sealed marriage to a woman he doesn’t know; he wanted to spare Cassie, but instead he has bound her to a contract assassin for life.

Book 3: Saved by the Hitman
Cherry has returned home, looking for answers. Her father is dead and she wants to know why, how and who killed him; what had he stumbled on? Leon is a second generation Russian and founded the Union Club. Previously a killer for the Bratva, he now works for the good of the town, even though he is thwarted at every turn. Cherry and Leon have history, but now fate has brought them together again. A cryptic message in her father’s notebook, leads Cherry and Leon on a trail that finds them uncovering some nefarious business dealings.

Book 4: Captive of the Hitman
Mikhail could have been the Avtoritet, but instead passes up the position and now Gregorovich is in charge, though their situation is awkward. Gregorovich gives Mikhail a contract to carry out, believing it has been sanctioned by the Bratva, and there is a proviso that there should be no survivors. Mikhail finds Alicia drugged and unconscious in the room; Mikhail will never kill a woman and now has to go to extraordinary lengths to protect Alicia from someone far worse than himself. This is not Alicia’s world; she has stumbled into his, but together they are able to find something real.

Book 5: Stolen from the Hitman
Liv knows that Paris is the place to be, even if it means leaving behind everything she has ever known or loved; how can she refuse an offer to train under the tutelage of a world-renowned gymnastic instructor such as Max. Their first night in Paris sees Liv and her room-mate Maggie manipulated by human traffickers; Liv knows she should have listened to her intuition, but it is too late now. The gym is a refuge for Max, a place where he can distance himself from the past, where he once used to be a killer and one of the most feared hitmen in Paris. Max’s concern for the disappearance of his two protégés, draws him back into a darker side of his life when he finds out they have been kidnapped by human traffickers; but not the Bratva, who Max had once confronted, but the Chechens with help from an old adversary.

Book 6: Hostage of the Hitman
It has been Delaney’s experience that good things only happen when she pretends to be someone she is not and over the years she has perfected this persona thanks to a rejection; now she is a master manipulator. Delaney and her friends Caitlin, Lyssa and Megan are off to Barcelona for a weekend of fun, but instead it turns out to be a nightmare. Delaney knew Darios would be trouble the minute she saw him; nevertheless, she has finally met someone who is able to challenge her. Darios has built a respectful reputation in the Georgian Mafia as a feared hitman, whose demands are never taken likely, but Delaney is a distraction.

Book 7: Taken by the Hitman
Rosie’s father, Frank, is a gambler and drinker. Blaming the birth of his twins on his wife’s death, Frank is not the slightest bit interested in them, leaving Rosie to bring them up. Today is Rosie’s 18th birthday and her father has a surprise for her; they are going on a trip and while Rosie is excited, she is not happy at leaving the twins behind. Soon it becomes clear Frank has done the unthinkable; to clear his debts, he has given Rosie away to Konstanti, the Bull; onlookers watch Rosie’s pain and humiliation as she is offered to the man at gunpoint. While promising to protect Rosie, Konstanti is determined to eradicate the human trafficking that is rife, knowing there is collaboration going on under his nose.

If you are looking a Hot Alpha Guys that take care of their women with everything in them , this is for you. You get to meet so many amazing couples that have to fight for their relationships, most have has a rougher than rough background and somehow overcome to get their Happily Ever After. I am very partial to each story with Sold to the Hitman you meet Andrei and Cassie, Saved by the Hitman you meet Cherry and Leon,(one of my favorites) I really liked that this book is also a MC story. You get Leon's brother Mikhail and his love interest Alicia in Captive of the Hitman. Stolen from the Hitman features Liv the gymnast and Max her coach and takes places in Paris. Hostage of the Hitman is Delaney who gets kidnapped by Darios, and lastly but another of my favorites is Konstantin and Rosie in Taken by the Hitman. Rosie and Konstantin are just the best characters . You get to learn all about Bratva and how these men became Hitman or why. They are each an adventure with tons of suspense. My honest review is based on an advanced reader copy of this book.

I have bought, borrowed, or received a copy form the author for all of the books in this series. I averaged out my ratings for the whole series but had to round up because even though Owned by the Hitman (book #1) is not included (there is an offer on how to obtain it, inside this collection), Ivan is worth all 5 of his stars. Every book in this series is unique except for the fact that they contain a very bad boy that would do anything to protect and cherish a particular girl. Even though these alphas are Bratva, mafia, etc. and they kill, they do not allow women to be mistreated. There is violence but not graphic (you can't have bullets flying and not expect to have a little blood) . I appreciate that the author actually takes the time to write a detailed story that will satisfy the reader that is looking for more than thinly veiled erotica. Overall I would give the series 4.75 stars and would highly recommend reading this series!
