With a title like that I couldn't pass it up.

It was as the title says, adorkable.

I felt for Alister and his clumsy ways. I, unfortunately, have the same issues of tripping on air. lol

I didn't like that the female was casted as the villain and slut. Really?

Besides that it was a short sweet read.

A promising premise and blurb the while Alister is well drawn Jaiden is pretty static.

Alister does seem just be into Jaiden for his looks and there is no good reason for Jaiden to think any differently.

It would be a cute (if a bit simple and underdeveloped) story if not for the fact that the only female character in it is a Mean Girls-derived "office slut", a jealous and vindictive villain, who gets insulted and physically shoved by the MC.

Too short. For some reason I thought it was going to be longer and was surprised when I hit the end. The MCs are likeable, but I think it could be more interesting as a longer story.

This is a pretty straightforward story, told in the first person point of view by Alister, who is a little clumsy, too good at his job to be where he is and treated pretty poorly around the office. So when the new assistant CFO, Jaiden, turns out to be the man Alister dreams of, he knows nothing good can come of it. Particularly when the finance department needs help and Alister has been nominated.
Of course when Jaiden speaks to Alister, Alister immediately trips over a nothing on the carpet and falls flat on his face. Not the way he hoped to start off but typical. Meeting Alister’s coworker, Heather, just sets things off to a more awkward place. Poor Alister.
It is a revelation to Alister when Jaiden is unhappy that people fawn over him. “I prefer to be adored by one person, and it needs to be real and not based on looks, my Armani suit, or my bank account.” Of course Alister follows up by falling, on his butt this time. Poor Alister. Again.
This is a sweet, easy tale of two men who seem total opposites trying to find whether a perfect specimen can make a match with Mr. A-dork-able.

Sweet, but not a lot to it. I'm not a huge fan of the whole 'makeover' trope to get noticed. This isn't as bad as some, the reader could tell Jaiden is interested in Alister from the get go, but it's still there and it annoys me.

Being socially awkward and rather clumsy keeps Alister quiet and to himself, and then Jaiden comes on the scene, handsome and suave he only makes Alister more clumsy. This is a cute short story, soppy and sweet.

I thought with that title this was going to be a funny story 😅. What I really wanted to do was hug Alister because everyone at work was doing everything in the checklist to bully him, while he is one of the HR people 😡.

I'm going to blame it on the book been so short for the plot to not fully develop. Because the blurb is what got my attention, and don't get me wrong Jaiden sounded hot, but everything went from nice to meet you, let's work together, now that we are done with work, I really like you 🤷🏽‍♀️.

Alister and Jaiden are co-workers that get thrown together for a project and realize how much they like each other. Alister is the awkward type and everyone makes fun of him, but Jaiden gives him the confidence he needs. Great story. I always feel like the awkward type too, so it was nice to have someone to relate to.

Quick & sweet awkward/geek and the sexy stud

The story provides a quick and relatively simple "swept off his feet" romance with a geeky guy and the extremely sexy executive. This is a short but gently relaxing reading experience for fans of extremely socially awkward characters being surprisingly attractive to the confident/unattainable/very sexy/powerful man.

The clumsiness was over-the-top, and the attraction from the assistant CFO seemed a bit out of the blue, but a nice “wish fulfillment for dorks” story.

3.5 stars - rounded up for my fondness of the dorkiness

Short and fun read.
Alaistar is the clumsy klutz that takes the brunt of the workplace kingpins. The continual ‘lets all laugh at Al’ does take its toll though.
It all gets worse when Jaiden arrives in the office - though it is far into the book before we get more than a passing feel for him - as Al gets clumsier in the face of an instant crush!
Heather may be a bit OTT and Al’s roomy is funny, though does get him spruced up.
Light and easy to read.
