OMFG!!! what a book, what a story. I just don't know where to begin with the praise that I have for the writing and the depth which this story has. I just loved it so much. I loved the characters and the chemistry but I also loved how it wasn't all sunshine and rainbows.
This I can honestly say was an ugly, heartbreaking story full of pain and torment but I took alot from it and I also saw the love, respect and hope that it held too. I am privileged to get to read this fantastic story early and I can't wait for the book world to get there hands on it. A huge recommend from me and bring on more fabulous stories from this great author.

Tl wainwright you have done it again this is a huge 5stars!
This book is the second in the series and comes after Deacon.. and wow it is just as good as the first!
The story follows on with the struggles of Tomek & Allie and is full of sorrow sadness and sex!
This book had me hooked from the very start and I didn't want it to end!
Really hope that we get another book for the series in time so we can see how the characters have all moved on!
I definitely recommend it for a great read!

A gritty, Sexy, dark, love story with a few twists and turns for good measure
Well oh My Wow!!!! He's as dark and forbidding as they come and she's a dirty mouthed, sarcastic party girl. Both broken, both on the wrong path, making wrong choices. Both wanting better but feeling like they don't deserve it. Together they bring out the best in each other, making them realise that they belong together but life had other plans....
Tomek and Allie are most certainly my favourite characters from all of TL's books. I just love how their world can take you from one minute being in the throes of reallllllly hot passion and then take you right into the depths of darkness the next.

I couldn't put this book down and started it straight after reading Deacon. Oh my, I think I have fallen for Tomek who has had such a tough life but has the warmest heart. I love the twists and turns in the story and I never quite knew how events were going to turn out. A fab read that brought out all the emotions in me and I loved Allie too.

It's not often that I read a book and it stays with me, this is one of them.
TL Wainwright has a way of writing that will pull you in from the very first page, and has a hold that is so tight it doesn't let you go.
Here we have the story of Allie and Tomek, Tomek is one of those men that you just want to claim as your own. His is a big, dangerous man, but underneath has a heart of gold. The way he is now is the result of circumstances he went through as a child and never knowing any different. He is a man you want to have on your side, a fierce protector and a generous lover.
Allie has gone thorough some serious tough times growing up, and a trust in those close has been severely broken. She lives her life in a way where she protects herself from any hurt and disappointment, that is until she meets Tomek.
There are some laughs, tears, sex that would get you hot under the collar, this book has it all rolled in to one.
A book that is recommended to one click as you'll not be disappointed, I hope that TL Wainwright knows that I will stalk her for every release.

I love this series!
Tomek was phenomenal! I love the that he was able to find his happy with Allie. She deserved to be loved with all that she had been through. I didn't think I could find her redeemable after first meeting her but after what happened with Jack and Tessa I found that I really loved her and being flaud was just part of her beauty. I am waiting patiently for more of the damaged alphas. I really want to learn more about Charlie but I will take any of them right about now.

Tomek is damaged, terrifyingly damaged! How can a man so deeply destroyed, ever have a good life? In steps Allie, equally damaged, with a terrible history. Two people colliding together, with a force that will either destroy them or bind them forever .
This book is filled with action, passion and pain. I cried so many times... it truly moved me.

Not all love stories are black and white and the grey area in between can be incredibly murky and not all HEA come after a few bumps in the road some take some giantice detours. TL Wainwright has created characters you'll love and ones you'll love to hate! I can't wait to see what the future holds for all the characters.

It was so good to meet up with the characters again from Deacon.
This book is Allies and Tomeks story.
Both broken at a young age will them coming together heal their horrors from the past. Or will the past catch up to them and change the course of their future?
I can't wait to see if there is another book in the series and if so who it could be. I hope it is Charlie.

You never see it coming! Action packed!
Tomek is a very bad boy who has led a life filled with danger and violence. He is part of the Polish Mob and has been trained to kill since the age of 5. He met Allie but the girl is confusing. She looks like an angel, but has a mouth on her that would make a sailor proud. He realizes there is more to her and spends time with her thinking he would be able to walk away. He soon found that wasn't going to be as easy as he thought.
Allie is a survivor. She has a vicious mouth on her and used it liberally. There is just something about Tomek she is unable to walk away from. He she's her, and makes her feel and think about things she has never considered before. He has come clean about his life, and the dangers that come it. She missed the call and the following ones. Now he doesn't call anymore and she can't let go.
How far would you go find someone? I really enjoyed reading this and just fell in love with Tomek. Such a great character! This story also tied back to Deacon - Soldier. Fighter. Jackass! Which I was very pleased with. The author did a great job writing her characters. They are real, broken, completely not perfect just like us. The story flowed and was action packed. Loved it!

This is one of those books that breaks you and then puts you back together again. It's also one of those books where 5 stars just doesn't seem enough. I absolutely loved the first book of this fantastic series, and Tomek's story was powerful and has remained with me even days later. I've struggled to move on and pick up another book because I'm not ready to move on. TL Wainwright is a great author who I'm really excited to have rediscovered after reading one of her books months ago. I'm kicking myself for not seeing what else she had written at that time. I won't make that mistake again though, and you shouldn't either if you've not yet read everything she's written.

Tomek was a great read, I really enjoyed this story. This story is told from a dual POV of the hero; Tomek, a trained killer, and Allie, the heroine, who isn't afraid to speak her mind.
Both of them were well matched and suited each other, both were broken but survivors. They were new characters to me but I found them both interesting to read about.
Overall, this was well written with great dialogue and had me engaged from start to finish, and made me want to read more of TL Wainwright's work.

After reading Deacon I couldn’t wait to find out more about Tomek. I loved his stoic persona and I was desperate to get into his psyche. Allie, however I was not very fond of Allie in the beginning, but once I understood her story more I found I warmed up to her and she wasn’t quite the hard faced biatch she led you to believe at first. Told in dual POV, an action packed, violent and sizzling hot, addictive read.

wowza!!! can't say I've ever been attracted to big fellas in character format until now. Thick accent. Hard Body. Gentleman at Heart. TL has done it again. Loved the story and the slight follow on from jackass yeah. more from these characters pretty please. xx

WOW AN ACTION THRILLED RIDE FROM BEGINNING TO END. I LOVED THE INTENSITY OF TOMEK AND HIS FIERCE PROTECTIVENESS. A WELL WRITTEN STORY FROM AN AMAZING AUTHOR.

I loved this book, sassy heroine, with no filter and witty one liners and a hunky tatted lead, I mean, what's not to like. This was a fast paced story with intrigue, mystery, and danger all rolled into one book. Add in the hot, accented guy with a mile wide protective streak - not forgetting the sizzling sex scenes - and you have a super, highly recommended read.

Gosh both these characters deserve to get some happiness and love. Full of powerful emotions and events with flash backs from both Tomek and Allie, this story does contain some violence. Full of suspense and intense throughout with a plot that doesn't stop, it is fast and edgy. I am not going to much more as I don't want to give away any spoilers, but if you like something a bit dark that keeps you on the edge of your seat at times then I would suggest reading this. I would also suggest you read Deacon first as he does appear in this book as well and some of the storyline crisscrosses. Great read and another book I really didn't want to put down, one that also had me one-clicking the next book in the series and jumping straight into reading.

Tomek so needed his own story and boy, how fascinating is he?!! A tragic past that had me feeling all those feels. I wasn't to sure about Ally in Deacon but she certainly came a character that I cared and connected for in this story. Full of twists and turns, this book was one hell of a gripping read.

This is definitely not a book I would normally read but I'm pushing my boundaries in what I do read. I didn't like solid to start with add I found her very self centred but by the end she seemed to come good. Hard hitting subjects but great read.

Had me on the edge of my seat
Very exciting read, had my eager to know more and I loved their love story, two very damaged people finding what neither will of thought possible. There is definitely room for a second book for their story

Ahh I absolutely loved Tomek !! The way he tries to protect everyone whilst putting himself in danger is just amazing, it had me gripped from the beginning and I couldn't put the book down! I loved that Allie had some snarkiness to her and that she wasn't afraid to call people out, this is the first book I have read by this author and I can't wait to read more !! <3
