Message from 'the Principal of QuizSchool'

“I love quizzes. It’s a great way to improve your knowledge and learn something interesting you didn’t know before”. This was the moment, sometime last week, I decided to write a quiz book.

So here it is… The 'QuizSchool General Knowledge Quiz Tutor'.

Why should you get QuizSchool?

•Random ‘Pot Luck’ questions. Many of the questions give extra information to help improve your General Knowledge.
•Graded questions in each ‘Lesson’ arranged in 3 sections (low, middle and high demand).
•Varied range of questions from 'Principal' Allen's comprehensive compendium of quality quiz questions.
•'Extracurricular' section, jam-packed-full with quirky quizzyness!
•Perfect for that rainy day in with the family, or those moments when you need to look busy!

It’s bound to become a collectable, prized in years to come, maybe selling for thousands of pounds and talked of in hushed tones as it passes through the Kindle Universe – or gets pirated!

“You need coolin', baby, I'm not foolin', I'm gonna send you back to schoolin'…” "Whole Lotta Love" - Led Zeppelin.

- Let’s get back to School! -

“He’s a great lad and his mother loves him” – The Author’s Mum. “Mother!!” – The Author.

Adrian Allen was born at the 'Fanny Deakin Maternity Home' in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, to a mother and a father. He has mostly lived in houses around this area all his life. After leaving college, with little to show for the experience, he worked for a Turf Accountant and a Removals & Storage firm. Belatedly, he enrolled at the nearest university, at the age of 30, and left with a degree in Chemistry and a Teaching Qualification. He taught Science for 17 years, until resigning at the end of 2016 to concentrate on other ventures.

His first fiction book, 'No Name', is lost as a data file somewhere and he has not won the Pulitzer Prize, the National Book Critics Circle Award or the L.A. Times Book Award - mainly because of the lack of a book. In fact, the only thing he has won is a 'Bounty' chocolate bar in a village raffle when he was 12 - the raffle ticket cost three times the price of a 'Bounty'...

What a cracking book. There are 3 levels of ability that cover a broad spectrum of general knowledge, it also has some rather interesting facts thrown in which makes it different than the usual quiz books. They aren't just your plain old questions, there are little titbits in them which I find really handy. Overall the book is very well thought out & written, a seriously good start to a series's of great fun books.
