Now he is on a mission in space to find the diplomat’s daughter, but he’s not alone. He is with a feisty Latina detective that is unlike any female he has ever known, and her scent drives him wild. How can he fight giving into his temptations when she is so near, and his guilt of betraying his fiancé is so strong?
When they crack the case and find themselves in the heart of an outlaw planet, the threat of battle looms near, and Eniv and Melinda must solve the case, rescue the missing women, and keep their feelings from destroying it all.

DNF at 6%
The battery in my Kindle is dying and untill replacement arrives , I am reading constantly connect to the charger, which makes my reading time presious and me irritable , short- tempered and low on tolerance. That means 3 strikes and you are out.
1 . Triple spacing with 7 - 10 lines per full page ( a joke )
2. Both juvenile and stiff writing.
3. Our alien Commander musing about his human female partner's" titts" , "ass" and his " stiff cock" just few pages in to the story ( and oh, by the way, he is engaged to a human female because it became fashionable
- Earth women are flavour of the day)

The title and description is wrong.
This was a good book in spite of the fact that the TITLE of the book is INCORRECT, does NOT about a DRACKON named Eniv, and the SYNOPSIS of the story is INCORRECT..
**This story IS about Zankerian warriors wanting to take over planet Earth and humans.
Earth was trying to make a peace treaty with them. The human female leader of the expedition falls in love with one of the warriors..

Another great space story by Maia Starr. In this story we find Melinda is a new Detective in the Intergalactic Special Forces Agency. She is paired with Eniv a Drackon Intelligent Agent to find the kidnapped earth women. One of them is his intended and a diplomat's daughter from Earth. These two hit it off like oil and water. Will they be able to work out who is in charge before it is to late? Will Melinda's head strong determination get her in trouble?
Will they be able to find the women in time to save them?

I ready enjoyable this book. For once we have a strong, sassy, and fierce heroine I also love her feistiness and her no nonsense attitude. This book was filled with action,suspense that going to hold your attention from beginning to end. So if you like heroine that can kick butt and hold her own I would totally recommend that you one click this book you won't regret it. I voluntarily read and review this ARC I haven't been compensated in any way.

I keep saying that Ms Starr writes great books, but what else can I tell you. She keeps them interesting & intriguing. And I have to keep telling everyone how good they are & recommending them to be read.

Not recommend
I found this work to be stiffly written, with a story that was irritating. Ok, both stories were irritating. I will not be going out of my way to read anything else by this author at this time.

Intergalactic Cops? Alien Law & Order? Great fun!
This done in one story expands on the world building in previous Drackon Mates books, focusing less on an intended Bride being matched with an Alien and instead investigating when the Bride and several others are abducted before getting to their Mates.
Melinda is feisty, and fiercely competent... Eniv is a warrior who faces several internal conflicts, yet tries to make the right and best choices, even when the only way he can think of to do that is to be a jerk.
I was gifted with a copy of this story, and switched to the Kindle Unlimited version when it was published.

Another great alien romance for the series. I love the strong female characters in the series and Melinda is no exception. She has worked hard for her promotion in a male dominated career. But meeting Eniv, the very dominant weredragon won't change her. No matter what her body tells her when he is near. And Eniv is already committed to a human woman he has never met. But fate will have her say.

Love the series
The author is so creative in her writing and this book does not disappoint in any way. Love reading about dragons; my favorite shifter. It has enough action, adventure, and steamy love scenes with awesome characters? A must buy series and keep them coming.

These are really short stories. Pretty much blew through them in a few hrs.
