Good introductory text
For beginners, this is a good way to get comfortable with HTML and what css does. It doesn't go too in depth in CSS but there is a lot of good info here on how attributes are used in HTML and the part about tables was pretty well demonstrated.

This book made learning basic HTML and CSS easy. There were several typos, but overall, the book was helpful and easy to follow.
