Seriye Lured kitabıyla giriş yapıldı.
Emma ve Niall başrollerdeydi.. Sonunu hiç sevmedim, bir anlam da veremedim. Serinin devamında tekrar karşımıza çıkarlar mı bilinmez. Neyse devam edip göreceğiz.
Şimdi serinin ana kitaplarına geçebilirim. Epilogue olarak çıkmış olan Forgiven için buraya tekrar geri döneceğim :D

4Star Kindle Unlimited Read
I opted to read this for the never before released prologue/prequel and epilogue.
Prologue/Prequel
It cleared up exactly who No all is for the reader. It answered why all the characters knew what he is. However, the ending left me still with questions that I'm hoping the rest of the series and or the never before published epilogue will answer......
On a side note, it seems that all the "alpha" men in this series thus far also read as though they are spoiled brats that need some manners.
Forever Epilogue
I have to admit, the "Forever" epilogue was more than worth it. I'm so glad that Naill was redeemable in the end. More than that, I Gladstone not only found love and learned to love; but he found peace and contentment.
Not to mention, this short epilogue redeemed the last book in this series.
Ward definitely ended it on a high note!

[Talking about Lured]
One star, why? Because how can you put together certain couple, torn apart and in the end put him with another woman? Absolutely not, nay, nunca, jamás. That was tricky and uncalled for. If you play like that with the feeling of your readers in you other novels then I absolutely not want to read them anymore. Good luck
And the other novels doesn't not make it up to that horrendous epilogue, I did not read them cuz I wanted to know what happened to Emma and Niall but it was not worthy.

Wow, 5 books in this series about Billionaire hot guys & women! 2 of which has never been published before. As usual Alice Ward doesn’t let you down with her books. A definite must read! I loved it!

Niall rose from nothing to ruling Chicago. He always gets what he wants. Emma is working hard as a waitress and a nursing student. Nial propositions her to a weekend of pleasure. Neither expect the outcome. Niall is till too hurt from his past to be in any relationship.

Imogen comes to know Noah and he cares deeply for many things, but he is unwilling to release control of his life for anything outside of his work. Corey is still the wild mystery she left in Thailand, unknowing if he will ever return to the US, much less her. She must find her way through the corporate world and decide to whom her heart belongs. Noah and Corey have decisions to face as well, both lead lifestyles unsustainable to having, much less maintaining, a steady relationship.
Book 2 - Secrets 3*
Blaire is a very unfocused woman. She served in the military but wants to change herself and be a different person. Despite this, she continues to stay in a dead relationship and even confesses she loves the man she cannot stand to spend time with. Cristiano is a rich man, still helping at the orphanage he has a history with. He is angry about his past and thinks nothing beyond that he was abandoned. There is a mutual attraction between them, but they both get defensive and angry very easily. Blaire is withdrawn and her secrets seem to hold her back from experiencing life. No idea what she did in the military, but her actions show a lack of planning and precision.
Book 3 - Burned 3*
Quinn only has one focus, her job. She does not have time for relationships, nor does she care to take the time. Seth is not looking for long term and can tell Quinn is not either. Both realize they may have found their match in each other, but Seth has more secrets. I did not understand Seth. Especially his relationship with his family and the explanation was vague. His other secret was wrapped up too quickly on Quinn's side. The ending was missing closure.

It has been a year since Niall last saw Emma and nothing, and no one, can fulfill the void left by her. Candace is busy running her own business and she barley has time for a real relationship. She definitely does not have the time or effort to spend on such a broken man. She recognizes the familiar pain in Niall's eyes and knows he has never dealt with his issues.

"Lords of the city" is the series of standalone books where every single book is a must read. Every story grabs reader's attention from the first few sentences and keeps us glued to the story til it ends. Every book in this series is fast paced and passionate. Every love/sex scene is sizzling hot and exciting. Every character is fully developed and appealing even if they have major flaws. All that and more, plus creative writing style that "speaks" to everyone regardless of sophistication level, make this series one of the very best I've read in the past year.

Each one of these books are so spicy and exciting they have a alpha and bad boy theme and warmth love and little bdsm they are hot and a awesome read so worth getting them at this price I love how they interconnect and still have their own self worth in each book loved the characters and the exciting pursuits of the women they go after so hot and wonderful. Not Tour Typical Happy Ever After
This is not your typical Happy Ever After! The 1st story really took me for a loop but what a spin on it in the END! Don't want to give to much away. ;-) I loved each story, cried and laughed. This is one of those reads I was up reading because I just couldn't put it down. Thank you!

If I say too much about this series of books, it will give away too much of the stories. These stories are stand-alones about billionaires in Chicago - Torn, Secrets, and Burned are the titles and those titles hide extremely well written and seductive stories. I believe that the series now also includes the novella that wasn't available when the stories first came out, which will reveal one of the billionaires who is a manipulator and whose actions are apparent in all three books.
I enjoyed this series. It is rife with clearly delineated characters that are fully developed and true to themselves. The steam in each book is enough to make you de-fog your Kindle (or Nook or Ipad) and you won't be disappointed in any of the story lines. I would recommend this series for any Alice Ward lover, or any reader who enjoys this genre and loves a good story.

Alice Ward has out done herself by offering her books in one complete collection that engages you right from the first book. All the stories are amazing with hot alpha males but most importantly the strong women they fall for that compliment them. Even though each book is a stand alone they intertwine perfectly with each other. Each book has their own steamy romance and when I thought this is my favourite I read the next book and say this is my favourite until the last one. I can't chose which one was my favourite....they all were. You can't go wrong with this collection...it is a keeper.....highly recommended.

I am actually giving the series 4.5 stars. I loved all the stories in this series. My favorite being Torn, a story about what do you do when you fall in love with identical twins. The reason for the 4.5 was that I didn't enjoy the Epilogue where we find out what happened with Niall Lambert after Emma walked out.
Overall great series. I look forward to reading more from Alice Ward.

Very enjoyable
This is a very good series of different but similar billionaire bad boys turned good. All of these alpha males have their own particular issues and are very much control freaks and each need a strong feisty female to be their equal and to bring them down a peg or two. All the stories are good reads and full of hot sex between very alpha males and feisty females a good combination.

It was ok
I liked most of them, but the burned one I stopped reading after a few chapters. They all have that alpha male, which I love. That one had a alpha female against the alpha male and I just didn't like her attitude. They were not very long either. Half of the download is a completely different bonus book.

I read this free book and this is my review.
All of the stories in this set have interacting characters but each story is separate. I loved the characters in all of these books. There is heartache, love and lots of HOT nights and days!!

Terrible, horrible, no good, very bad writing. Flat, two-dimensional, unbelievable, unlikeable characters and plot. Read the prologue novella - was relieved I had not paid for the set because I could not bear to read it. Ugh!

Lured is a never released prequel to the series. It’s Niall Lambert’s story. Niall is self made man and a billionaire in the high stakes game of power and money in Chicago. I enjoyed this story, it was suspenseful and a page turner. The romance between Cristiano and Blaire is beautiful and heartwarming. I was heartbroken about Cristiano’s childhood, and in spite of the odds, he became a billionaire. Blaire is an awesome, feisty, strong heroine in this story who fought selflessly in this exciting and thrilling read.
Burned:
Quinn has no time for men or relationships. As an owner of a consulting business her focus is on the success of her company. Seth is in the Army Reserve, but secretly hides the fact he is an heir to a fortune. Seth and Quinn meet at the opening to an art gallery show, and clearly dance around their attraction. As they plans for a weekend getaway, they realize there is more to the chemistry between them. Neither expected falling hard for each other, and realize what they had been missing. But Seth is soon deployed and leaves Quinn wondering about him. I was on pins and needles until the end.
Forgiven is the epilogue to the series, and it’s the final half of Niall Lambert’s story. By this time, I’ve really softened towards Niall. He meets and falls in love and his journey is a hard one, but he gets his HEA. All in all, a wonderful series that comes full circle. Great job, Ms. Ward.

Not bad!!! This is an intense book. They all intertwine but all have their own story to tell. I have one that I've liked more than another but all in all it was very good. They are all bad boys and rich but want what they want when they want it.

This was a very interesting book and I love the authors writing style. Now I can read all of the series in one spot. I would recommend this book for those who love Alpha Male Billionaires and their stories.
