Sacred Bones is an emotional book, but it's worth every moment. If you have enjoyed the TE Series this will not disappoint you. If your new to the TE world I would suggest reading the enter series before starting Sacred Bones. This is not a book you can appreciate without knowing the build up to this particular story. I've been a fan of the author and the series since day one...

I was wondering how LM Adams would be able to top the last Twisted Eventide book but it got topped! This was an amazing story of Pain, Endurance and Overwhelming Love! So much happened in this book that I have a hard time grasping it all.
Jae and her boys, Jack & Lucien are trying to keep their lives together. Still rocked by the betrayal of Tabari. Then who shows up? Tabari. He has the noted that Jae had written him but never delivered. The team starts to think there is a traitor amongst them. Tabari has been cursed and is slowly dying but he needs to try to make amends with Jae. Then Sheba shows up and all hell breaks loose.
Jae wakes up in the middle of a murder scene, she's standing with Tabari and the CNAE have them surrounded.
I really do love this series and I wait, very impatiently for the next book to come out. This is why I only try to read established series. I have NO patience. LOL

Another hauntingly perfect addition

Deep breath in......now out. WTH!WTF!OMG!!!! Oops, breathing didn't help I guess. What to say about this book?! It was horribly perfect. I hated and loved it. Why, oh why does she have to go through so much?! I thought it was a dream. Then I hopes and prayed it was a dream.

Love is our biggest weakness and our greatest asset. It can tear down worlds or conquer them. I hope this love conquers.

The writing is once again amazing, remarkable, astounding, just freaking awesome! Adams is a phenomenal author. Thank you for sharing your twisted words with us.

KEEP WRITING

This is a DARK Urban Fantasy. There are things written within that will make strongest stomach rebel. READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!!

This was the best book in the series yet. I could not set it down, often staying up past 4 am to finish it while my little one was asleep. It was an emotional roller coaster ride, but an amazing read. Not for the faint of heart. Might slightly disturb you. Can't wait to get my paperback version!!!!

I don't even know where to start with this review... I've been a fan since A Snow Covered Moon and after Murder of Crows I was sure nothing else could surprise me... but BOY was I wrong. I went through an emotional rollercoaster throughout this entire book. My heart hurt. I thought I was ready... I was not. Every word was bleed on the page and left a gaping hole in my heart by the time the end rolled through. I'm not sure if you're familiar with the saying 'the bottom dropping' but Sacred Bones had it's bottom dropping moment and I wasn't sure if the characters or I was going to survive to the end. Many times I wanted to flip to the last page just to see if things were going to get better. Everything that came before this book was NOTHING compared to the dark, twisted, and lovely things you're put through during this installment. Growth, setbacks, and down right I can't believe it moments. We've seen hints and snippets of what was coming in the 5 books before this one but nothing prepared me for the gut wrenching sobs, fear, and disbelief that I went through. Many times I found myself saying 'this isn't real' or 'this can't be happening'. I thought it was a mistake... pieces of the story were missing but nope it was all there. I've said in other reviews we were at the calm before the storm part of the series and Sacred Bones is exactly the storm I knew was coming. Sometimes for things to get better, they have to get worse. Well done and I can't wait to see what happens next.

Amazing

Holy flucking shiballs. I don’t even know where to begin. I thought book 4 was heartbreak central but boy was I wrong; this one takes the cake. My heart was ripped into two and I loved every twisted minute of it. If you’re about to start reading this book, I’m assuming you’ve already read the prior books and so words of warning are irrelevant; this book is just as depraved (even more so really) as the others. ENJOY!! :)

There were times (roughly 25% of the book worth) that I thought “this is some type of dream or hallucination or something magical done to break Jae. I’ll tell you right now, it’s all real. Don’t go hoping it’s not. I even came to read the reviews at one point just to see if there were any spoilers that’d help me make it through. There weren’t.

I was confused throughout a good portion of the book about the berserkers, but it looks as though I missed the Harper Files, so I’ll be going back to read that and hopefully it’ll clear up all the questions I had. So if you haven’t read Harper files, I suggest reading it 1st; amazon linked me straight to sacred bones after reading murder of crows and I didn’t even think to look at the reading list to make sure that was right, but 1/2 way through the book, it was obvious I was missing something.

I don't kind sex scenes in my book but I felt like it was too much trigger sex going on

This reason for the ratings are . Jae beats Jacks genital with a cane tell there black and blue ouch that makes me cringe and hurt for Jack. A fraction of the Berserkers kidnapped Jae Raped , beat , drugged her tell she became pregnant. I felt like the details where over shared and the author could of told that part of the details in a better light. I did like that Lucien got his revenge. I feel like Jae constantly sacrifices Jack and that's not love he deserves better.

Oh my goodness. The emotions!! I swear at times I thought, nope, shes dreaming. But then I questioned again and nope was real. I yelled and pleaded out loud for honesty. I talked to myself about being strong. I felt.despair when she broke completely. My God! Just hands down a treatment to supreme authorship.

Tagline is accurate

This is definitely the darkest book of the series. It became a little overwhelming a one point. I am still enjoying the series, but be warned - there are a lot of “players” on the board and it’s can muddy on who wants what, who are allies and who are adversaries.

Difficult

This book was harder for me to read, I was not always comfortable. I had decided I didn’t like Jaevia in this one, she was different, very selfish and harder, but later I found out why. This is not for the faint hearted.

This series though!!

This series is so perfect! At times horrifying and then mesmerizing. This is the darkest one yet, but it's absolute perfection. There are portions I could barely get through. Then towards the end, it glued everything together. Whoa! Can't wait to read #7

Absolutely love LM Adams story telling. She is able to weave great tales, build and develop characters and most of all make you feel. I may not always be happy about the emotions she pulls from me.
